Be prepared to wait even with an appointment: ran well over an hour and a half (1 1/2hrs) late (though at arrival they said 30-40 minutes delay). PA did not see her finally until 2 hours late after appointment time. Also, NO x-ray tech available (only on certain days) but no one called or messaged us to give us the option of going elsewhere. I did indicate foot X-ray in appointment set-up. My mom is 80 and in pain with limited portable oxygen; that's why I set an advance/future time slot appointment to limit time waiting. PS patient liaison Ronni H has not returned my phone call 3 days later; I left her a second message. (She did call back immediately after indicating this was a second attempt). I spoke with patient liaison and it was clarified that it is not an appointment time you are booking online in advance but a reservation (check-in time): which is to say is the same as showing up in person (first come, first serve basis). This should be explained better as it is misleading when you pick a time/future date (even days later in advance) that you will get first preference. So at this point I will never use their system for future time slots but use it as a guide to how many currently are in line. The website business location page will indicate X-ray services available but beware no X-ray techs may be available (only on certain days at different locations). You will need to call location directly to confirm or call customer service center at 888-381-4858 to see if an X-ray technician is there that day or where one may be located. read more

*Do not come here for Covid 19 testing* My husband went to this nextcare urgent care for covid 19 testing since Friday it is now Monday and we have not gotten results and today we were told weekends don't count. You're better off going to Walgreens or CVS where it costs you nothing and we have gotten results on weekends. Of course all urgent cares are taking a long time due to the demand of all the COVID testing being done . I understand they're overwhelmed with work but that does not excuse the unprofessionalism and the results rudeness of the receptionist. I just called to see if they had my test results and they were very rude about it. I understand they're taking a long time to get results and I only called because someone had it done days after me and they already received their results. I know all cases are different but they made me feel embarrassed to even ask for my results. Now is a time where people need more help than ever and this is how we're treated. I made a 3:30 appointment and waited over an hour for care. You can never get anyone to answer the phone here to get test results so not only are you sick, you have to wait up to a week sometimes to get test results so that you can get treatment. I've called an left multiple messages for someone to call me back and you never receive a call. Appointment times you book online aren't honored and you end up waiting up to 2 hours past the appointment time to be seen for 5 minutes and to end up not getting treatment at the end. And you have to pay for this subpar service. Unacceptable. If you have any other choice, please go elsewhere. read more

They have no empathy for people coming in that have a major cold just trying to get better to go to work and wondering why I had been sick for this long and don't have Covid. If I have to pick an urgent care this is the one I choose but tonight made me rethink that. I think they really need to reconsider elevating the way they test certain things. I brought my daughter in for pelvic pain. No fever, vomiting, etc. They tested her urine & told us it was totally clean. All her symptoms point to appendicitis so they sent us to the ER where they also tested her urine which showed a white blood cell count of 20 which is extremely high. After running tests, CT scan, Ultrasound, they completely ruled out appendicitis. But honestly, with such a massive infection you'd think even their dipstick test would find it. Maybe I should let them pay my ER bill for just a simple yet massive bladder infection. read more

The employees are very rude and I would never be coming there again. They will make you wait outside to sign paper no Seating in the hot heat for the people with no cars. They will make you leave you child outside because they can't let them in the back area and they cannot stay in the front. So due to all of that we had to call another Uber wasting money with no care/help. They have no care even if you are pregnant don't recommend coming if you have no car to turn around and leave. Respect, kindness, and customer service is a huge part of the healthcare system. I had a Covid test today at 11:00am and From start to finish, I was talked to rudely, pushed through like I was not a human, and when I asked questions I was made to feel like those questions were an inconvenience. My doctor today was a really nice woman, and made me feel comfortable, but the ladies who helped me before and after, interacted with me without even talking to me. Pointing me to which room I was supposed to be in without using her voice, when she came in to take my vitals she opened the door, and just started putting the cuff on me without saying a word from the time she walked in to the time she walked out. This is a sensitive time and people need to be treated with care and respect as humans. Today, I was not treated well and I hope that this is taken into consideration when creating patient care plans, values, and hiring moving forward. read more

I have been to the next care at 59th and McDowell several times. The Reception and others staff seem like they are just there to punch a clock and get paid. (I guess many are).....however, if you want a knowledgeable medical attention, I recommend going through the rest of the ugliness to see a doctor here. On one occasion after months with a hand surgeon and the surgeon failing to stop infection i went to next care was prescribed the correct antibiotic. Infection went away quickly and completely. In my opinion many doctor offices really only care about the money. See one of the pa's here because they genuinely still care about patient health. read more

I don't know why this has such bad reviews. I came here around 2pm on a Friday and was taken back within 20 minutes. Filled out a page of paperwork, provided my ID and insurance and that was that. I was taken back before I even got them back . The receptionists were friendly, helpful, and straight to the point. The nurses and whatnot attended to me quickly and performed the tests with ease. The PA was attentive and showed genuine interest in my symptoms. It was a little bit of a wait for my results but I could care less. They can take as much time as they need to be certain of them! I was in and out in about an hour. Would definitely recommend this place. I'll be coming here from now on! read more

I checked in online on January 22, 2017. Online said I only had 2 people ahead of me so my appointment was in 15 minutes. I got there tolfd them I checked in online. I still had to wait 45min to be seen. I gave the nurse a description of how I was feeling. A little while later the docotor came in to examine me. He was the rudest doctor I have ever met. I let him know i was having trouble breathing. He ignored me and told me all I had was a cold. Let not forget I also told him I was coughing up green mucus. I asked him if I only a cold why I had the other symptoms. In return he said "well if makes you happy we can do a chest x-ray. He also said I highly doubt you have a pnuemonia." Some docotor he was. I thanked him for wasting my time. I ended up going to the emergency room only to find out I did indeed have a pnuemonia.. So I wouldnt recommend ever going to this urgent care.. read more

I normally don't review especially if nothing good to say but I have to make a comment on this place. Just as a side note I will never go to Dr visit but once a year and other than that I stick it through regardless of the pain. This time I went in because I couldn't even function due to severe lower back pain. I went in and was pretty dead, I was seen within 20min of my visit. Seen by Dr. Deusterman and he was awesome by the way. Bad starts after I left. Went to pick up my prescription and they had no record of it, called NextCare to find out they sent to wrong pharmacy. They said they would sent to correct. 1hr later pharmacy didn't have anything. Called Nextcare again and then two hrs later went to pick up and no record of the meds. Called Nextcare again and requested follow up call. spoke to Gloria directly and she stated that she doesn't know why there was no prescription but states Jose was on the phone now talking to pharmacy. Never got my callback but felt confident and a total of 4.5 hrs later went back and no record. Explained to pharmacy and Elena asked other workers and no one had received a call from Nextcare. So at this point I went in paid my money to Nextcare to get pain meds which I still can't see 5hrs later and my pain is now worse. When speaking to Nextcare they seem to not have a worry in the world, no apology or any kind of sympathy. Worse experience ever. Still in pain and no meds...real quick to take my money though. Not happy about this location anymore. I have been to this location about 4 different times for myself and for my children. The wait times are usually somewhat long even with online check in. I figure this is expected however this last time when i took my daughter in for a soccer injury that happened at school, we waited about an hour and a half then was finally taken back into a room that was not cleaned or disinfected. There was dried up blood, from a previous patient, on the floor, chair, and counter top. The fact that the medical staff didn't see it, is crazy. I left the room immediately to tell them about the blood and their response was so casual. "OH REALLY?? Let me put you in the triage room instead." Only when the doctor finally came in to see my daughter another 30 minutes later did we get an apology. This just proves that they do not wipe things down after patients, they only do the most obvious which is pull a new piece of paper onto the exam bed. Be careful when you check into this place!
