We waited a long time which was understandable because they had a child with an allergic reaction. Once our NP came in to see us she was there a couple minutes max. She looked in my dad's ears and determined he had an infection and sent us to the pharmacy for antibiotics and drops. A few days later we decided to look for ourselves as he was getting no relief so we went to Walgreens for an otoscope because he just couldn't hear at all. This photo shows that this was a terrible occlusion that needed to be taken care of. She was in a hurry and got us out quick with our insurance money in their pocket. No antibiotic or drops was going to help him. I don't know what she saw but it couldn't have been infection. She could have sent in a nurse to clean this out but instead got us out the door. Both times they went above and beyond to make sure they weren't missing anything and got me on meds right away. Everyone there, including the front desk staff is super friendly. I have never had to wait long in the waiting room. And I had to get a chest x-ray and it is so nice that they can do x-rays on site. It's so fast and efficient. I'll definitely come back.

During a recent trip to the coast, I got stung by a sting ray at king's fisher beach. My friend…read moretook me to NextCare Urgent care in port Lavaca which is the closest we could find. Upon arrival, I was met by professional medical staff who brought me a wheelchair as I was stung on the foot. Not only did they treat my wound, but they also comforted me because I was freaking out and in so much pain. I stayed at the urgent care for about 1 hour and left with 90% of my pain gone and detailed instructions on how to take care of my wound. This has been the best medical service I have received in my whole life. Jack and Cody were professional, fast, and comforting. Everyone working there was fantastic. I hope nobody will ever get stung by a sting ray. but if you do, this is the urgent care you should go to for treatment!

Finally she was talking on the phone to someone and stated that some people are too dumb to understand. That's when I left. VA scheduled another appointment at a different set with the same hospital due to I require a special MRI due to heart stints. Go here and guess. They don't show the appointment. if you dread going to the doctor use Citizens. Don't worry you won't get in.
