I developed an earache over the passed couple days. As I was about to head to CVS to pick up some over the counter ear drops, my wife recommended going to urgent care since we're heading out of town tomorrow. I'm a cash payer, no standardized health insurance, so I was reluctant, but decided it might be a good idea because the pain is worse today than it has been. I made the appointment and upon my arrival, I let the woman at the desk know I don't have insurance and ask how much the visit will cost. She said she can't tell me that and it all depends on what the doctor does, x-rays, exams, etc. I thought it be odd there is not a standard visit cost, but thought it'd be around $50-$75 since I knew no x-rays would be needed. I get called back, they weigh me, take my blood pressure and temp, all check out well. I wait a couple mins for the doctor. Not a long wait, which was nice. He walks in and asks about the earache. I tell him it's in my left ear and that I've had similar pain before which turned out to be an impact of the ear or wax build up. He immediately checks my right ear for reference, no problem. Then checks my left and says, "Guess what." I reply, "what." He tells me, it's all clear and completely clean. It is a little inflamed though, so he prescribed me ear drops. He was in the office a total of about 3 to 5 minutes. I go to the front and they give me my script and a bill for $180! What?!?! $180?! For what?! To tell me I have no wax build up in my ear take some ear drops, which I already planned to do? I was floored at the price tag. This is the problem with the health care system. It's such a scam. It's no wonder people result to Google or web md. If she would've told me the price before I went to the back, I would've walked out. But because I was "seen," they can charge whatever they want and I can't do anything about it. Shame on you NextCare taking advantage of hard working Americans. I won't be back, but what do you care? I would say the doctor/PA was great. Unfortunately, it's been 5 days and still don't have blood results after having chest pains while there. They did an EKG which came back negative and also took blood. I was told I would get a call in 2 days. It's been 5 days and I have been trying to call them for 2 days. Nobody is picking up the phone!!!! Ridiculous. Let's see if someone from corporate calls after sending them a message from the website. read more

Walked into urgent care to find out That they were completely booked up for the day. 2 people in lobby and 3 cars in parking lot. When I asked if they took walk ins the lady said yes but I needed an appointment. I didn't plan to get sick . " Urgent Care" if I wanted to make an appointment I could go to my primary doctor!! Woke up with a severe allergic reaction and I walked into the clinic and was seen before I can finish submitting my paperwork. FNP Tina Grinsteiner was extremely professional and truly seemed to worry about me and getting me back to health. Her staff was nothing short of phenomenal with positive vibes. I scheduled an appointment for 3 pm, but had to take an Uber, so I was 45 minutes early. I filled out my paperwork, and it wasn't until after 3 that I was entered into the computer system. The flickering light felt like they were triggering my seizures, so I had to wear my sunglasses inside. When I was finally in the system, at 3:15, they said I was up next. But instead, 3 walk ins were taken in front of me. When I finally got taken back, the male nurse wasn't very friendly. We saw the provider for maybe 2 minutes, but he was super professional and made sure he got prescriptions for my kidney infection. He was the reason for 2 stars. Would I go back? I don't know. If I could actually find a doctor office, I wouldn't. read more

We were denied treatment for our 3yr old Son because "they had a big incident" and needed to close early but the 2 patients currently seated would be seen... the receptionist doesnt know we have family that worked there and that inappropriate and rude behavior from clinic staff is common, the medical practice is substandard at best if not borderline mal practice.. I had to find an urgent care facility to be seen for a health problem. It was very easy to get in to see a doctor. When the doctor came in he immediately looked at me and asked if I was dehydrated. He examined me and asked several questions such as when I got sick and what did I eat. He gave me prescriptions that helped me get better quickly. He was very friendly and professional. Great, caring, accommodating receptionists! Great nurses and doctors. Visiting from Calif, I ended up in Urgent need of care due to my asthma and was so appreciative of being seen on a Monday morning. Although they were full up, they worked me in. Yes it took me a long time to be seen, but what does anyone expect on a busy day right after a holiday? I was treated with dignity and care and was given xrays to rule out pneumonia and given the RX I needed to care for my Asthma. Highly recommend this office. Couldn't be happier. read more

NextCare opens at 8am and our appointment was for 8am I checked in online at 0758am. There was three walk-ins that walked through the door before me and two were seen before me. 30 minutes later they send me to the extension next door to continue to wait and two more patients were taken before us. All I'm here for is for my son to get a sports physical. I asked if the walk ins take priority and they said no that reservations/ appointments take priority. When I stated I had my appointment was at they stated that I won't get seen right away because they have to review files and pull our records for it. In other words giving an excuse on why we haven't been seen yet. Currently still waiting and it's been 50 minutes past our appointment. Appointment priority is pointless here. read more

He was told they do not do walk-ins, he should of been told that when he checked in and the front office desk asked what he was coming in for, they should of asked if he had an appointment instead of why he wanted to see a dr. The first time I went the visit wasn't bad but wasn't a fan of the doctor. The 2nd visit for the follow up, the doctor was friendly and passionate about work but the 3rd time I went I had an appointment and waited an hour to seen and was late for work. This people are not good or caring. Took a friend to be tested today. We where there an hour and a half. And there was one 7 cars in parking lot. I guess they put your name in a hat and pull out of the hat who is seen next. 3 people came in after my friend and where give test before her.( and no they did not have appointments I asked.) My friend an an older man where outside in the heat for 1 hour 15 minutes. I am not sure why people treat other people like they are below everyone and can wait. I have seen this happen many times. It is really bad when it happens at a medical place. Yes my friend has state insurance. I am sure have state insurance does not come with a go to the back clause. This is the place you go when you have no other options. I had gotten the flu diagnosis on Friday and my husband started coughing Saturday night, so he needed to be seen on Sunday to be in the window for Tamiflu. We had no other option. It's $190 just to walk in the door if you don't use Ins. You can sign up for their monthly plan for $161, but be sure to cancel it 10 days before 90 days after you sign up. The waiting room is bleak and makes you feel like you are in a third world clinic. No one even asked why we were there, the discussion was 100% about how you will pay. The tech swept us into the vitals room and then into the exam room where we sat for 30 minutes waiting. The physicians assistant came in and said, "so what's going on?" He didn't introduce himself. My husband said he felt like crud and the PA asked if he had been around anyone who was sick. Yes. Ok, she got you sick, he said. He examined the ears, throat, listened to the lungs and then gave us a lecture about getting the flu shot. He then said, ok, this is what I'm going to do, I'm gonna give you a shot and then a prescription for Tamilflu. I asked, "what is the shot for? "It's gonna make him feel better" "Yes, but what is it?" "It's an NSAID" "Ok, what exactly is it though?" "Toradol" "Does he really need that? Can't he just take some IBuprophen?" "Well, why did you bring him in here?" "To determine if he has the flu and get a prescription for Tamiflu if he has it"" "Ok, I'll give you the prescription for Tamiflu, have a good day" he said as he was literally walking out the door. We were confused as to whether we were done, were we supposed to leave, where were we supposed to go? We walked back out to the waiting room after our PA's temper tantrum and we're told we were, in fact, finished and had to wait for our appointment papers. I'm really glad I stood my ground, because when I looked up toradol it says, "management of moderately severe acute pain that requires analgesia at the opioid level." It is often used after surgery. Now, my husband is achy, but he does not have severe pain. This drug was NOT warranted. The worst part is they never did a flu test. I'll say it again, don't go here unless you have to! I'd rather drive to Phoenix than go here again. read more

Front staff was extremely rude from the second I walked to the counter. They handed me the forms without even looking at me or greeting me. When I would ask questions they would just nod as if they couldn't speak. They look as though they dread their job so maybe they should work somewhere that customer service isn't required. I had been suffering for a few days and finally decided to go in and seek help. The staff was very friendly and considerate of my symptoms. I was seen within just a few minutes of arriving, so there was no waiting period. The nurse was polite and personable. She requested a sample for diagnosis and the results came back quickly. The doctor was knowledgeable and sympathetic. He gave me a few options for treatment and we talked about the best one that suits me. My prescription was sent in immediately, I did an injection on-site and was on my way out the door. It was such a relief knowing I would be on the upward trend. I was in the office for about 35 minutes in total. My prescription was ready as soon as I arrived at the pharmacy. I would highly recommend this urgent care and would go back again! 1 star is too much for this place...me and my wife went in for a DOCTOR visit and Covid test....instead we got a loud, super loud, ineffective doctor who barely gave us time to breath when he put the stethoscope to our chests...it felt like a quick brush off instead of a legit doctor visit. He came in with a lot of energy but sadly....nothing was done. We should have been checked thoroughly instead of half assed. Next time we need a real doctor....not George Lopez in a facemask (George Lopez would have probably done a better job)...smh read more

Spent a little over 45 minutes here, from arrival to discharge. Grant it my son had a very obvious ear infection however this was probably our fastest visit to any urgent care. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely return in the future if need be. read more

Absolutely abysmal. When I went here I had been told to return for blood-work the next day, wasn't told when to come in despite needing to fast. They then charged me the full co-pay for a blood draw without telling me and wanted another visit just to read them! I complained to their billing department, never heard back after being told a freeze on my account was applied. Two months later and I get a Debt Collection notice! WTF?! Horrible place, staff just try and scare you to go to the ER even when nothing is wrong with you. Most of the time they don't even know what they are doing. If your heart rate is steady they keep saying things to make it worse and use that as an excuse to send you somewhere else. PA's also disrespect family members and treat people like trash. I was in town visiting my mother and became ill. She is in walking distance of NEXTCARE, so I went there. I was able to schedule an appointment on line, so there was no long wait with other sick people. The girls at the desk were effecient and lovely. I was weighed and put into a room by still another professional,lovely girl. Alex came in to look at me and make the diagnosis. He was professional, thorough and compassionate. Hi this is not the first time ive had a bad experience with the nurses that check you in. Today i came in for a sprain ankle and me trying to walk towards the room they were going to put me in and i dropped my bag and Kenia the nurse or medical assistant said i got jt and another medical assistant got it for me and kenia did not even grab it and said ill take it to the room really bad experience i was struggling to step on the scale while she was having a conversation with her coworkers she does not deserve to work with patientes at all. read more

Well let's start with the call, our health insurance has a nurse care line she said to call and be sure they could take care of my husband because he is on blood thinners. I call the number which takes me to th ed call center, i ask about the blood tinnerr issue and she was oh yes we can handle that. I ask can I go in with him she was yes no problem. Go on line and set up an appointment. Show up 15 minutes early. I am informed that because of Corona virus I can't go in. My husband won't go because he doesn't want me sitting out in the carr forrr God knows how long. So unfortunately I had to come here for my pre employment testing and drug screen. After waiting almost 2 hours.. they finally decided they can accomplish this task. I get a phone call the next day from my soon to be employer asking where the drug screen results were. I let him know it was done and not sure why they didn't include it in the paper work. Come to find out.. they never did do this step in the pre employment package that they must receive daily and numerous times daily. This is nothing new to any urgent care. Ater knowing I did give a urine sample.. I called to find out what happened and they told me that urine I did give was for the physical. Really?? I don't think so.. and if it was, use the same urine for the sample. They could have admitted they messed up and tried to made it right but again.. after being told to come back and they would rush me right in.. it was another 60 minute wait before they decided to call my name. The worst urgent care in Yuma!! Would never return and don't recommend anyone to go here. They could work on more then a few things. read more

First time at this location, I called for a last minute sports physical for my grandson and they gave me an appt right away. We where there about one hr total not bad and the staff Dr. And Medical assistant where very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them. read more
