Some items were priced for just a few dollars and it's a cute spot to spend a few minutes scavenging, but keep in mind there may be limited quantities of certain items as availability depends on what they have on hand. I wasn't greeted upon entering the store, the older gentleman wasn't super friendly or necessarily the most welcoming but he wasn't rude either, overall it was a quaint little shop and I found a couple of cute accessories.

Chipotle, Five Guys, Burkes Outlet, BJ's Wholesale, Starbucks, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Papa John's, phone stores, nail salon and more. It's a very big center. Getting back onto the highway is super easy. After Sunday brunch with friends, I popped into Simple and Sublime to check it out. I enjoyed browsing and bought a pair of cute earrings for myself. I also appreciate them being open on a Sunday as many of the local businesses in the area are not. If you're looking for a birthday gift or other special gift, no need to travel to the mall or to Charleston- check out Simple to Sublime. A huge sprawling parking lot with enough space under one roof to get in a mile of walking, if one were so compelled. This brings me to Target in Summerville, SC. Located in a safe albeit busy part of town this place will have, almost anything you need since it's a Super Target. They're aren't many people walking around so if you need something be prepared to "hunt." Finally the place is always clean and stocked so that's a huge bonus. As for the food, it has what one has come to expect from Target, average products at a low cost however when it comes to fruit and veggies, the supply is always needs a lot of washing. The baked and homemade food items are average but better than that other "blue" store! I've also found they're limited in toys as I tried to purchase some items for my kids but they only have the absolute most popular items. So, if you want that GI Joe action figure, you won't find it here, or at least anything new. As for electronics, they have most of the newest gaming consoles, games and controllers however 4k media is limited, but that's a standard among all stores now as physical media continues to be replaced by inferior forms of content like streaming. Most items like pet food and accessories are in abundance, hardware and housing goods have most of what someone needs and the kitchen section has a lot of average equipment to great stuff depending on what you need. For example, the knife selection is horrible but mixers are just as good as anywhere else. I do all of my vitamin and specialty medicine (not prescription) from Target as it's the cheapest. Overall, Target is exactly what you expect anywhere and that's by design. The only real differences are subtle things that regionally might sell better at one place then another state won't offer a product as it won't make sense. Think of a heavy winter coat for sale in Texas - it isn't needed. Other than those items, it's Target so you already know what you want.

I was returning some things this visit, it did take a bit longer of a wait given the holidays, but the gentleman that helped me was very nice and friendly despite the piles of returns surrounding him. What I really like about the place, besides low prices are that the people that work there are extremely nice. Not only are they pleasant, but they're more than willing to help you find anything you need. In fact, I had a lady basically drop what she was doing to show me to the belts. Come on, that's customer service!!! That said, the back isles were extremely cramped, products all over the place and lots of bare space. Ross seems to have a lot of resale items, which I'm not sure if that's accurate but that's the vibe I got. What I do like is I found most of what I needed discounted to some level or another. While I'm not a fan of the toy section having items just thrown on the shelves I didn't mind as I enjoyed the hunt. Anyways, I was able to locate a couple toys for my youngest girl. Also considering the diversity of products they have, I was able to get some nicely priced art supplies such as canvases, paint brushes and acrylic paints. Next my oldest is getting close to being on her own so I bought her some cooking supplies. In fact I got her a Cuisinart pot and lid that I currently use at a price that's cheaper than I found at other places! Not only that I got her an 8" chef knife for a cheap price which will serve her well in all her cutting needs as the most versatile knife a cook can have in their kitchen. I debated buying some clothes too however I learned a long time ago getting clothes for a 17 & 14 yr old girls without their input isn't smart therefore I let them do that shopping on their own. As for me personally, I was on the hunt for belts. Of the top I'll admit clothing is EXTREMELY subjective which means I didn't find a brown belt to my liking. Moreover, there selection of clothing wasn't to my taste either. But at least they have a decent selection. Ross is a great place to shop for a plethora of items for relatively cheap all under one roof. Most of the items aren't things a customer would find at say Dollar Tree but things that are of higher quality. I highly recommend dropping by if there's something you need and you want to save a buck or two. Also being able to shop in a clean and secure place with a friendly staff can't be overstated. Fleet feet is a professional running shoe store and since I'm somewhat of a runner, I've visited…read moremany of their shops in different states. For those who might not know what professional shoes sales means, well it's no "Rack Room Shoes", not that it's a bad thing, rather for a focused audience. From a novice runner or a seasoned veteran, Fleet Feet is one of the most reputable stores for high-performance and specialized shoe sales in the greater Charleston/Summerville area. One thing I didn't know is that this is locally owned, not corporate like in TX, KS, MO and NC. That means, if you shop here, you're supporting local owners, which means a lot to me. FF offers an array of different brands and builds to help all sorts of runners with feet issues. For instance, my body isn't exactly a marathon build which means I need almost customized shoes. I have a wider foot and it pronates (rolls) to the inside along with falling arches. FF was able to take my input and offer several styles and brands which address the issue. Their staff are very well versed in what runners need and it's reassuring when a salesman pulls out 4 different shoes all with different functions. They helped find the exact pair which addresses my running and has allowed me to comfortably run without issues. I settled on the Asics GT 1400 GT which helped my feet after I broke them in along with my back and shins (plantar fasciitis is no joke so plan accordingly). Moreover, the staff also has accessories which any runner should consider. They carry several different running sticks to workout trigger points, foam rollers, go (energy for the go!), wicking socks, compression wear, electronics, etc. The staff isn't pushy but when asked they are very good about giving the customer exactly what they need. Finally, if you set up an appointment they can scan your feet for for the exact shoes you need and I believe they can even judge your gate to offer advice. That's doctor level assistance! I can't stress enough how valuable a reputable store Fleet Feet is and I highly encourage anything to give them a "looksie" and see what all products they have for you. If you're just starting up or a long-time runner, this store can help you achieve success. From my experience the staff will have a smile on their face helping you out along with chit chatting about upcoming races. A truly great customer experience with a staff that truly cares for you!

I've always bought a pair and hope they would work out. Today I went to fleet feet and I'm so glad I went! When I first got in, I got asked a couple of questions on what i was looking for, if I had any injuries etc and then I got my feet scanned. The running specialist was very informative and gave a thorough detail of both my feet which was super helpful. Afterwards, I went through several pairs of running shoes until I found a pair I liked! The nice part with fleet feet is that there is a 60 day return policy if you're not satisfied with the shoes selected. The downtown Fleet Feet was overall a good experience! The downsides are parking and limited shoe availability. There is no designated parking space. I took about two laps around until I could find a parking space relatively close by. Definitely will be back to check out their accessories and other shoes.
