Where do I begin my praises for this company? Let us start from the beginning... When my husband and I started to look for a Bankruptcy company that can help us, you can only imagine the shame and the anxiety of calling and talking to someone about very personal stuff. Heston & Heston is great. I'm more than half way through my Chapter 13, and in that time we've had COVID, I needed to buy a new car, my salary was reduced, and I moved states twice. Ben is super responsive. The initial petition was filed quickly. Ben let me know exactly what documents he needed, and he got it done. Easy peasy. Since that time, I've had to file a few things with the court to account for changing circumstances. Ben let me know how much extra his fees were in each case before we did anything. He also took time to reassure me almost immediately when I had specific concerns about the process. I had a mortgaged house involved in the bankruptcy in another state, and Ben helped me figure out that entire issue. The co-owner of the house was being difficult with me, and Ben told me to just give the co-owner his number. It was a big relief as the co-owner was causing me a lot of stress. Ben is always calm and collected, and he will tell you if he needs to look something up. The student loan companies are always difficult about repayment in bankruptcy, and he has continued to try to get them to take my money. Ben is highly responsive, transparent, ethical, and very communicative. I couldn't ask for more in a lawyer in this complicated process. Making the decision to file bankruptcy is not an easy one but Ben at Heston&Heston really eased our fears. He was kind and compassionate during an emotionally difficult process.
