I had quality classes and great professors. I learned so much about the field I work in now. The university has so many amenities. Nap pods, computer lab access, gym access, library access, and so much more. There was also a lot of opportunities to get involved with organizations, clubs, etc. being involved enhanced my undergraduate experience. Parking was terrible and passes were pricey.

Even though it was "strange," it was actually pretty good. On the other hand, the Master's in Screenwriting was just awful. It was a terrible experience, with bad and unprepared professors, an all-white faculty with zero diversity, and a department chair (Mr. Jared Rappaport) who seemed completely lost and had no idea what he was doing. The entire body of professors was terrible--aggressions and lies everywhere. I had two classes that were repetitions of courses I had already taken as an undergraduate, even with the same professors. Additionally, during my thesis examination, one of the three professors who were supposed to give me feedback did not read my script. As a result, I only received two sets of feedback instead of three. Beyond that, my experience with the credentialing program at CSUN, under the Michael Eisner School, was equally disappointing. The lack of commitment, disorganization, and unprofessional behavior throughout the process was unacceptable. Communication was poor, requirements shifted without clear guidance, and there was little accountability. It is a terrible place to pursue studies if you expect seriousness, professionalism, or institutional support. In summary, I paid for a Master's degree that honestly taught me very little. I learned far more in the screenwriting courses I took at Los Angeles Valley College than in the CSUN Master's program. And if you are thinking about "networking," forget it. The network you can get from that institution is honestly BS. I do not recommend that program. Look for a more serious institution if you want to learn and feel genuinely appreciated. Do not pursue the Master's in Screenwriting at CSUN.

The mix of mariachi, cover bands, and Djs make for a great time filled with community and lots of dancing! Also, special shoutout to Hawk in Security for always making sure the environment stays a safe and lighthearted space. He always makes us feel so welcomed and is one of the many reasons Sagebrush is a favorite spot! Would love to see this place get a photobooth. Think it would fit the vibe nice and make for a cool souvenir :)

The only reason this review isn't getting a 1 star is because the server who ended up helping us,…read moreafter our original server let us sit for 30 min without as much as a hello, saved the day. Granted it was a busy Saturday night and it's graduation season, there were some pretty big parties, a slight delay is understandable, but 30 min with only the busser that brought us chips and water as our contact is pretty absurd. Note: the person who was supposed to be our server walked by and around our table maybe 10 times to her other tables and big party. We didn't wanna be rude (especially since when we got there there was another guest complaining loudly to the host about their wait) so after 30 min of no contact we asked the busser if they could grab our server. I saw the busser speak with a few people who all seemed to nod and give an ok, but still, nothing. Another 15 minutes go by with no server so finally we had to wave one down who wasn't our server. Thankfully we waved down Mitchell who was super cool and on point. He got our order, had a great attitude and was the only thing that held our experience together. As someone who works in service and a former server, I empathize with the chaos that comes with the industry but it's gonna happen, and you gotta be able to hold it down or know when to ask for help, or at least say hi? If it wasn't for Mitchell this review would've been a 1 star, which we all know is bad for business. Hopefully management takes this as a note to address their wait times.

It's fun to walk around the inside and look at all of the banners and displays they have showing the rich winning tradition of the mighty bruins. Seats are pretty comfortable and there aren't really any bad seats in the house. I've been to some basketball games and a graduation here in the past, but this time went to a men's volleyball game. It was fun and general admission seating lets you get real up close to the action. It's a great venue and you should come check out some local college action. It's a lot of fun, more intimate, and a lot cheaper than a professional game.

I recently came here to see a NCAA men's basketball game. [Parking]: Visitors can park at Structure 7 or Structure 4. Most of cars will be guided to Structure 4, but Structure 7 is closer to Pauley Pavilion. For Structure 7, visitors must park on the basement level 2. $17 for the event parking via Bruin Permit. Visitors will need to scan the QR code at the elevators; however due to poor cellular signal at the basement, I had to refresh the webpage once I walked up to the ground level. [Experience]: There were vendors out there giving away free drink samples before and after the game. The stadium had a pretty good view and personally I didn't see any "bad" seats within the building. [Food]: The building blocked off one side of the building for food trucks, so there were some good food options to choose from. [Conclusion]: Unlike Crypto.com Arena or Intuit Dome, game day experience felt like a very intimate experience and gameday ticket is very affordable. Overall I am a fan of this arena. P.S. - UCLA women's gymnastics and men's + women's volleyball are also hosted in Pauley Pavilion.
