Ray and I recently went to the Titanic Immersive Experience located on the 8th floor of the Beverly Center in Beverly Hills, and it was absolutely incredible. These immersive exhibits keep getting better, and this one felt so real it was almost surreal. You get to experience the Titanic from every angle -- from being underwater looking at the shipwreck to walking inside the ship itself. Walking down the Grand Staircase, seeing the dining area, and standing in the wheelhouse truly made it feel like you were there. At one point we watched each other climb a ladder -- even though we were standing in a big open room. The illusion and technology are amazing. It's educational, emotional, and fascinating all at once. We loved it so much that we've already told several people about it and are even thinking about going back again with our group of yachting friends. We're docked near each other in Channel Islands and call ourselves the Pirate Crew, so anything involving ships and the ocean is right up our alley. I had points accumulated on my Fever app, so I was able to get 2 tickets for half off. My husband and I went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. It's located on the top floor in the Beverly Center Mall, so plenty of parking in the garage. The people working at the front desk were nice, and they provide free lockers for you to store your stuff. The graphics were not mind blowing or amazing, but it was decent. Some areas seemed blurry, and there was a a few breaks in transition from one scene to the next where it would go black. However, when that happened, there would be green arrows that would appear and guide you into the right direction. I never found the experience to be disorienting, but we did feel a bit uncoordinated and cautious when we got to the scene of the grand staircase. We felt like we were going to fall down the "stairs" if we weren't careful. In reality the floor is completely flat, but it definitely looked real. My husband actually grabbed my hand and we started walking "down the stairs" together. It was a hoot of a 'trip'. Overall, the concept is interesting. My husband had never done VR before, so he especially enjoyed it. We loved the idea of being 1st class passengers on the ship and being able to interact with our surroundings. The virtual guide, with all his factoids about the ship and events was educational. It was definitely a different and fun way to experience the history of the Titanic. The thing that bothered me, however, was the noise. You are in this big empty room, and everyone participating in the VR are walking around, so the noise really travels. I wish the workers spent some time ensuring people were not talking so loud because it made it hard to hear what was being said on my headset. I couldn't understand a few tidbits here and there during the storyline which was annoying. All in all, we had fun, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price. read more

There are no hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive since this virtual reality (VR) experience is located inside a massive mall. The parking spots are pretty large and wide. The first hour is $1. The second hour is $2. The third hour is $3. Max is $18. This experience does not validate parking. I parked in Grand Court 4E. This allowed me to get to the venue very easily. All I had to do was to go up to the 8th floor on the elevator. Exit the elevator and the venue is directly across from H&M. Experience & Staff: This Titanic: A Voyage Through Time experience is presented by Fever. The staff here will highly encourage customers to use the public mall bathroom on the 7th floor next to the Starbucks prior to starting the VR experience. Just a side note: Starbucks doesn't validate parking. The staff here at the Titanic VR experience are very kind, friendly, and helpful. They accept credit cards. I recommend booking your tickets in advance because there will be a wait time. I got there with a ticket booked in advance, and even then, we had to wait 10 - 15 minutes to go in. You will "board" the Titanic in groups. The experience is about 50 minutes long. Heads up, if you get motion sickness, you might get motion sickness during this experience. In the event that you do experience motion sickness, raise your hand and a staff member will come to your aid. They will take off your VR headset and your experience will immediately be paused. You can take as long of a break as you want, and then you can rejoin the VR experience. The experience overall was pretty cool, but I wish the volume in my VR headset was louder. The sound was cutting in and out a bit. That's why I took off one star. The screen in my VR set was cool. I enjoyed interacting with various different people and things in VR. I wish they had more photo opportunities at this experience. That's another reason why I believe it is only 4 stars. I wish that this VR experience showed me things not known by the general public. I wanted to learn something new about the Titanic that I didn't know about, and this experience didn't teach me anything I didn't already know. Bummer. The Titanic: A Voyage Through Time VR experience, I had initially learned about it in advance of its release and thought it was a very interesting concept, so I signed up for it in advance to be notified when it was coming to the Beverly Center. However, life happens, so it took longer to get there than anticipated, but, eventually, I was able to make my way and take a VR tour through time and experience theTitanic as the 2000 plus passengers did on that fateful day. You get to the Beverly Center and take the elevator to the 8th floor, and that is where your journey begins. CHeck in at the front, fill out info on a tablet and wait to be called. Once called, you'll be given your VR headset and then the magic starts. You can see an entire world around you, and see other people who are part of the VR experience with you as well. Your arms and hands are also visible as the experience is interactive and you can interact with your environment. You'll initially be taken down to the bottom of the ocean to experience the Titanic as it is, present day, ten taken back in time, to where you board the Titanic as a first class passenger,walking along the deck and being able to clean the deck like a deck hand would to walking through the Titanic, experiencing meals, the engine room, talking with people on board, to going to the control deck, being able to interact with the steering, looking out into the ocean as the Titanic travels, to the fateful iceberg hitting the Titanic and its aftermath. The experience is very well thought out, and interactive in all aspects.Each scene you are brought in to feels alive, albeit not as "natural" as you might want. It is still VR and I'm sure, with time, the graphics and effects will improve more and more, making it so much more immersive and real. But it was very cool being able to pick up items in your environment from eating food, shoveling coal, climbing ladders, walking down stairs, etc. The one big downside is the ending feels very rushed. You experience hitting the iceberg then you are transported to a lifeboat. It would have been great to experience the fear and panic of the boat starting to sink, for the back end raising up as the lower half sinks below the waves, etc. Overall, a very cool experience with great information and a feeling of being present on that fateful journey. If you're a fan of the Titanic, immersive experiences or just trying something new and unique, definitely head over to the Beverly Center and give the Titanic: A Voyage Thrgough Time a try! read more

Traveled from Arizona and had reservations for my sons birthday and the person at the front desk started to question my son as far as his age and grade and decided he couldn't be allowed in. My son is OBSESSED with the Titanic and was absolutely crushed that we went all this way and for this to be the result. They were super dismissive and could not care more. The Titanic VR Experience, now playing at Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco (and select other cities), is an immersive and surprisingly moving journey. Wearing 3D virtual-reality goggles, you step aboard the RMS Titanic at Berth 44 in Southampton and are instantly transported back to 1912. The Experience takes you through beautifully rendered environments: the wreck, the Harland & Wolff Shipyard, a first-class stateroom, the elegant dining room, and even the boiler rooms--where you can shovel virtual coal into the roaring furnaces yourself. Walking down the Grand Staircase in full 3D is a genuine thrill. You also stand on the bridge at the moment of the iceberg collision, as Titanic's tragic story unfolds, narrated by virtual crewmembers with excellent historical accuracy and restraint. The visuals are stunning, the storytelling respectful, and the sense of presence is remarkable. Highly recommended for anyone curious to experience Titanic in a powerful new way. Only a RMS Titanic nerd would notice these inaccuracies: The Crew uniforms were not right. Characters could have been more accurate looking, The ship whistle sound was a modern horn, not like Titanic's steam whistle. To turn Titanic to port to avoid the iceberg, the ship's wheel was turned in the opposite direction, hard to starboard. That's the way ship wheels worked in 1912. We were considering a visit to one of those Titanic Museum Exhibits that pop up in a rented commercial space and stay around for a few months. The closest active exhibit for us was "Titanic: The Exhibition", and admission was $31/person. Reviews for it were mixed, so we decided to try "Titanic: A Voyage Through Time" instead, which was more affordable ($20 for adults and $16.50 for kids ages 8-17/college students/seniors). This is strictly a VR Experience as opposed to a tangible museum exhibit with placards to read, artifacts to look at/touch, and/or some interactive elements. We understood that going in, and treated it like a virtual reality attraction with a Titanic theme. We had signed up for a 6:40 pm time-slot and showed up at our schedule time. Another couple joined our time-slot, making us a party of 4. After a brief orientation, we were left on our own and the sole technical host (troubleshooting person) returned to monitor the multiple PCs running the VR Experience for us and the other 3-4 groups who were at various stages of progressing through the attraction. We haven't done many VR Experiences, so it certainly felt novel and a bit exciting, especially since these VR headsets were wireless and our interactive area was the size of a vacant, mid-sized store in a shopping mall. The VR Experience started out with a present-day "descent" to the wreck as our virtual guide explained things about the ocean where the Titanic currently rests. After this, the experience transitioned to the day Titanic set off so we could virtually board the ship, visit our quarters, see the engine room, and walk around the bridge, all while famous historic figures from the fateful voyage addressed us and spoke about their lives/connection to the Titanic. In the various virtual "rooms", you could do things like shovel coil for the boilers and operate the helm on the bridge. The other real-life participants in our group were represented as silhouette figures in the VR Space, and "no access" or virtual borders helped keep one from bumping into someone (or a wall). It was also always possible to look down and see your feet if you wanted another frame of orientation. The last virtual space of the experience put everyone in one of the lifeboats to watch as the Titanic sunk. The whole thing lasted about a hour. I was very pleased with the variety of environments/info. presented, and scope of interactive elements. On the other hand, the 3D characters and virtual environments were definitely dated and lacking the degree of photo-realism from more recent VR Experiences. But overall, Titanic: A Voyage Through Time was worth the price of admission. NOTE: If parking at the Beverly Center for a Titanic: Voyage Through Time time-slot at 6:40 pm or later, you probably don't need to pay for parking since the gates were automatically opened around 8 pm (I had paid for parking [$2] before returning to the car) due to the mall's closing time. read more

WOW!!! Truly unique and fascinating experience. Yes, the technology is a little dated and it'd be cool if the avatar tour guide could follow you, but you felt like you were touring the Titanic. Very physical experience of walking, 'climbing' 'shoveling' 'running water'. It has you hopping over things that don't exist, and the craziest -- I got teary eye'd at the end. Customer service was superior from check in to help my frightened friend that opted out when the illusion of falling presented itself. Even more fascinating was being able to see my friend's avatar as she's still in the room but not in the game, so when I was on 'the lifeboat' it looked like she was a character in predator sitting on a floating iceberg in the ocean. Infinitely better than the 15 minute shooter VR games. Just LISTEN when they say, "Remember the floor is level. And use the bathroom on Level 7 by Bloomingdales before you start your journey. read more

Re Sacramento, Ca Titanic event - Information was interesting by not what I expected! I did NOT like that the head system as it caused Extreme Dizziness ! I had issues walking around! The Pictured STAIRCASE what not actually viewable but we had to WALK DOWN the stairs! Very Hard when you are use to holding onto RAILS ! This review is actually for Fever Labs, the organization that sells the tickets. I originally bought tickets for May 18, 2025, then was contacted via email by Fever to say that I had to reschedule; no reason was provided. I was given a voucher to reschedule and used it to buy tickets to the same event for august 31 at 10:00 AM. Imagine my surprise when my family and I showed up at the Beverly Center at 9:30 AM only to find out that the event didn't open until 11:00! We waited around until 10:00 hoping that maybe there was a mistake. When I emailed Fever about the issue while waiting outside the event, I got a standard message saying that it was too late to reschedule! When I pressed the issue further, they offered me a voucher but stated that if I'd used a voucher for this event already, I couldn't use another voucher for the same event. I've yet to even get a voucher and have bern told by "Marie" via live chat and by Aldara over the phone that the situation has been escalated and is being reviewed by an internal team, but that they are "very busy" and can't give me a timeline as to when this matter will be settled. So 5 months after my initial purchase for this event and I've still yet to attend. Now just want a refund. read more

I bought tickets back in Feb. for this event. We arrived on time, last Saturday. It did not appear to be open. We waited about 15 min., then found out it was not working. Had broken down the week before, but they had been able to reboot it, with just some delay. When we went, it had already been down for over 2 hours. We waited another 45 minutes, but it was not working. We came from 60 miles away. It was annoying, but things do break. Asked about a refund, and were told that Fever will not give refunds. Got home, and contacted Fever, who confirmed they will not refund. Will give me a "voucher" to re-purchase tickets. If the tickets cost more, I have to pay the difference, if the tickets are cheaper, tough luck. Oh, and I can't get any tickets until June 13th. It ends the 22nd of June. And the "vouchers" can only be used for this experience! It's not even like I can save them for another event. I will really have to consider if I will be willing to buy anything from Fever in the future! read more
