However, today's experience was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. First off, I don't just trust anyone to touch my face, so I would drive up to 30 minutes to get my services done here. I would come at least once a week and recommended this place to all my friends. In fact, I used to bring my friends with me to get everything done together. Today, I came in with a friend and the lady, who I assume is the manager, was working on my upper lip and side burns. First off, I said hello to her and she did not respond and seemed to be very angry. When we got started, she started telling me "I thought you said you were never coming here again." Something along these lines. I told her she must have mistook me for a different client and I had no idea what or who she was talking about. Nonetheless, it is so upsetting that 1. she mistreated me based on a negative experience with a different client, 2. even if I was that client, that is such poor customer service. She then kept asking me if I had waxed my sideburns before or if it was my first time. The way she was handling and asking me questions was very short and rude. At one point, when she was waxing my sideburns, she told me to move my hair. Since my hair was down, I moved my hair to the other side to prevent it from getting wax on it. She then practically yelled at me and said "YOUR HAIR!" What she meant was to place my fingers on the tip of my sideburns to allow her to wax them off efficiently. Under no circumstance is it acceptable to practically get yelled at while getting a service that I am PAYING for. During the actual waxing and threading, she was incredibly impatient and pushing/yanking my face around rather than kindly directing me to move closer. I have been getting hair removal for 10 years now and I have never been as mistreated as I was today. I genuinely believe that this lady perceived me to be "young" and for that reason I would not stand up for myself. At the end of my appointment, I told her she was being mean and rude to me and she apologized but said it was because she mistook me for the previous client whom she had a negative experience with. Due to this degrading experience, now I will actually no longer be coming here nor advising any other people to come. Today's experience was a very poor way to treat a customer who has been coming here for a year now. The only reason why I gave two stars is because I had a great experience with her coworkers. They have been nothing but kind and accommodating.
