First visit to Nikole Rose studio and I had a full face wax with eyebrows included ($65) and opted to add the additional nostrils ($15). Booking was a breeze online - done via their website. They are also very receptive on Instagram and responded quickly to my DMs/questions. NRS is located in a private residence in a gated community. They communicate with you the day before and day of appointment and let you know how to check in. Upon your first visit you fill out a quick form, letting them know if you have any skin conditions or are on any medications which may make waxing not optimal. My appointment was with Pamela who was very nice and friendly. She painlessly waxed me and had good attention to detail when it came to stray hairs. She also let me view myself in the mirror and told me to let her know if there were any parts/things she wanted me to touch up. She checked in with me multiple times during the service (asking if I had any concerns or discomfort while plucking). She made me feel very comfortable during the service. COVID protocols were followed, she wore her mask the whole time and was clear to me when I should remove my mask for my service. The room was impeccably clean. As well as body waxing they offer eyelash extensions, brow stains, and a variety of facials. They take cash, card (square), or Venmo payments. Overall I enjoyed my visit and I would recommend them. I have been frequenting this establishment for almost a year now, and I hold this business in high regards. Here's a few reasons why; cleanliness, kindness, consistency, technique and esthetic. -First off didn't learn the studio was closed. Drove to porter ranch. Asked to "cat eye lashes" got who knows what. I hated my lashes so much and I think they knew too that they didn't even bother to "text me when it's time for a fill" I ripped off my 150 dollar lashes in 2 days that's how much I hated them. I absolutely love this place! The moment you walk in you feel relaxed and comfortable. Caitlin is an amazing lash tech, I never know what I want but she makes sure to give me the perfect fit for my eye shape. Also, my eyes are very sensitive but she has a very gentle touch. Somehow she manages to get a full and fluffy set that is lightweight and looks natural, I don't feel itchiness or irritation at all. My favorite part about her work is that there is no damage to my natural lashes and the extensions last forever! Oh and to top it off Caitlin is a licensed esthetician, I'm the type of girl that doesn't know anything about skin care and she gave me a few tips on a basic skin care routine. I was recommended by a friend who works in the same shopping center as them. Dominique, the one who did my lashes, was so kind and very gentle.
