This year, she started on running numbers for my tax returns and I was suspicious that it was incorrect. Hence, I went to Diane Rowlands (who won the best CPA awards in USA in 2019) to double check Edi's work. The CPA re-ran the numbers and Edi was wrong by over $30K which I could have lost in 2021 due to her errors! This qualified CPA pointed out Edi's errors and Edi was so arrogant that she stated,"I'm not open to discussions". Then the CPA double checked going back 5 more years on my tax returns and found that Edi had done my rental depreciation incorrectly. Edi already cashed my check for 2021 that was not supposed to be cashed until she is fully completed with my 2021 tax returns and fix all previous year's mistakes that she made. However, if she does not return this year's checks that she was not supposed to cash and everything that she is accountable to surrender to me by law. I will have to take her back to court. I'm a person of principal and even if it will cost me time, headache, and money to make sure this accountant (Edi) follows professional and ethical rules, I will do what ever it takes!

Not only was she too arrogant to admit to her incompetent work, her demeanor was outright obnoxious and rude when brought to her attention . She refuses to reply to any questions and would put me at the end of her priority since I already paid her. She was too busy trying to make more $ and focusing on volume of clients rather than delivering quality and completed/correct tax returns with no errors. She would try to aim for number of clients than to pay attention to details on tax returns to benefit the clients . She extremely pushy at rushing clients' tax returns just so she can gain her selfish financial gains to do volume rather than quality work. Her mistakes resulted in me having to pay more in taxes. This discount tax accountant was so incompetent that when another CPA who now services my tax returns brought up Edith's mistakes, Edith don't even offer to amend and make it right and in addition , no apologies from Edith as well for my time , head headache , and $ spent of paying to do her due diligence as a tax accountant over the past several years. Don't waste your time and money paying such an incompetent tax account . You'd receive a more accurate tax return if you choose to hire someone else who is more qualified and competent! Trust me! We switched firms for the 2025 tax season. When they were reviewing and prepping our books for taxes they found several things that should have been corrected a while ago and wondered why we were filing as an LLC and hadn't got a S Corp status. Well we were told we could only apply for S Corp status during a certain time, and we had missed it. Well come to find out that's not true. He could have saved our business a lot of money but he chose not to. Mr. Keeley has "offices"(he's not there and not staffed) in many states. He doesn't go the extra mile for his customers, he barely makes the block. He doesn't want to do your taxes if he doesn't do your books, but I didn't feel comfortable with that considering he never seemed to want to help or answer the phone. He's big on AI help, so that's who answers his phone. If I had a question I was given a very vague response as this was his way of persuading me to let him do the bookkeeping, basically saying I couldn't do it without him. My opinion you could get the same service using turbo tax and would be a hell of a lot cheaper. I would find someone who is more hands on and honest.
