Supreme taste! Number 1 ! Simply amazing! Good customer service. Have to drop one star because they took forever to bring out one of our dishes. Unbelievable. The food is real good tho. Food: eggrolls didn't have much flavor. The hot and sour soup was amazing. Full of flavor and hot! Loved the soup! The Dumplings were mad decent. The fried beef with peppers was good! Alright, if you're tired of eating pasta and pizza, come here! Or idk, the food was actually respectfully good and I liked my meal. Better than some in America, on par with a decent restaurant in America. English spoken service and good service. Courses are smaller than in America but cheaper as well -- a full meal for four + take away for later is just over 30 euros for us. Ha, my family bragged about this place being good, I guess so. I've been to two Chinese restaurants in Italy so far and this one was way better than the one I went to near the colosseum. Service was good, we didn't have to wait forever to order something or get the check. Food had good flavors, it reminded me of the Chinese food back home. The portions were really small though. My family ordered a tofu dish and I got to taste the flavor but didn't get to eat any of it because I went to use the toilet, came back and the plate had nothing but sauce. read more

Avoid this place if you don't want to be treated like you're begging for free food. My husband and I ordered lunch "all you can eat". The food was terrible, the services was even worst. They brought out the big dish of rice ( probably enough for 4 people) and of course we want to try their different dishes because it's " all you can eat". When we waited to pay at the cashier, the waiter came to us and acted like we didn't want to pay for food because we didn't finish the rice. He yelled at us " You didn't finish your food, I told you, you have to pay more" . Wow wow, alright, we'll pay for the rice, there will be no way we can finish it, but you don't have to be so rude. If you love your job, don't work there. I just want to let the customers here and the owner know that their customer services is so bad. Also, don't come here if you don't speak Italian or Chinese. Like others who have come to this restaurant, we were a bit tired of pizza and pasta and craved a little asian food. Our expectations were quite low. The service was pretty good. The food actually wasn't bad either. We had shrimp dumplings (ha gao), a stir-fried beef dish, and a noodle dish. It really satisfied our craving! Very reasonably priced too! read more

I am sad that I wasted my stomach room for this place. I ordered the Japanese rice ball, they served it with soy sauce dressing on top. I cut it off and asked for Japanese chili powder. I was given Chinese hot oil instead. My entree was Shoyu Ramen.. instead of ramen, I got a noodle soup with bean noodle, with chicken broth that had soy sauce in it. It's like asking for sea bass and they give you tuna. Good thing is that we did not choose the all you can eat option as everything I ordered was subpar and misleading. One of the worst service I have encountered while in Rome. Owner was very rude to customers and mean to their employees. I feel terrible for the guys working for this restaurant. They acted like they were doing us a favor by letting us in. There are other choices for "Chinese" restaurants in the area. They obviously do need any business. I live in San Jose, California, so I am used to excellent Chinese/Asian foods. We went to this restaurant as we were craving for Asian food after 11 days on a cruise ship. The food was ok. We had the buffet, so we were able to try several different dishes. The sashimi was good, but the Chinese food was either too salty or not tasty enough. The crispy duck was so over fried that most of the chicken pieces were burned. The buffet menu stated we have to finish the food we ordered or there will be an extra charge. Since the duck was burned, we did not finish it. The lady who took our order told us that we have to finish the duck or she will impose the extra charge, then she walked away with this weird attitude. When we initially sat down, we were not sure how the buffet style works in Italy, so we asked questions. Her answer was you should read the instruction on the menu. Every time we asked her a question, she refers us to read the menu again. I don't think language barrier was an issue since her English was pretty good. Personally, I can deal with mediocre food quality, but I don't tolerate bad service; thus the 1star rating (2.5 star for the food). I WOULD NOT recommend this restaurant. read more

This was our first experience having Chinese food in Italy. We live in Vancouver, Canada, the Chinese food is top end. The Chinese dishes were either too salty or didn't have enough flavour. The service was horrible, it took 10 mins before I had to hail someone down for some water. When we asked the lady taking our order we asked what the portion sizes are like, this was going to base our decision on the buffet style or per dish. She told us that the dish sizes were for one person. With five people 5 adults she told us it would be better to go with the buffet. We ordered what seemed to be enough for the table but quickly realized that the portions are a lot bigger then what she told us. As a visitor we entrust the person who is serving us that they tell the truth and not just try to get the most money from us. We had to pay extra for the plates that we couldn't finish. The whole buffet system seems to be a sham. If you do go, get each dish separately and do not go for the buffet. Food 1 star Service 1 Star. read more

My wife and I wanted a break from Italian food and found this Chinese restaurant located a block away from the Vatican walls. Since we live in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have had our share of excellent Cantonese food. Although not up to those standards, Ni Hao served up some tasty dishes that satisfied our craving for good enough Chinese food. The restaurant was well decorated and atmosphere was inviting. The lady who gave every impression of being the boss/owner was very loud speaking and that was the only ding in the, otherwise, pleasant surroundings. We ordered the hot & sour soup, asparagus soup, vegetable dumplings, mixed vegetables, and tofu with mushrooms and bamboo shoots. If you're hoping for fresh vegetable dishes, you won't find it here - either canned or frozen. We enjoyed our meal and returned for dinner the next evening. Recommended for a change of pace when near the Vatican. read more
