I am a tourist in Rome. After visiting the restaurant, I don't think the current 3.5 stars doesn't justify their reputation. This restaurant does offer authentic Chinese food. It you are a western who Is used to American Chinese food, you will probably be surprised by the selection in the menu as it doesn't have those stereotype Western Chinese food. But I have to say this restaurant is much appreciated by real Chinese people. Even my son said being there is like in China.

If you have been in Italy for a while and begin to crave Chinese food, Tin House is definitely one of the best option to visit. My parents eat Chinese food on a daily basis but the food at Tin House blew them away nonetheless. We opted for the traditional ordering menu and selected a variety of dishes from Szechuan soups to meat dishes. The portions were massive and you will definitely leave the restaurant with your tummies full. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is prompt. Overall a great place to find Chinese food in Rome.

This Chinese-American family was so pleasantly surprised with this really legit Szechuan place in Rome. Our dad who prefers Chinese food over all other food was really craving Chinese food after 6 days of Italian pasta, and Tin House didn't disappoint. We got fuqi feipian, which had the right amount of spicy, plus peanuts, which went so well with the beef and tripe. Then came our shui zhu yu (boiled fish), which had tons of peppers, good fish (though with bone, so be careful), and happily, noodles at the bottom. We also got hong shao rou which was delish. Nice fatty bits and nice meat bits, plus dried/fried green beans. Our soup was a winter melon and pork rib soup, which was very "clean" and comforting. And we finished with gan bian si ji dou (dry fried green beans, though ours were snow peas perhaps) and ma yi shang shou (vermicelli noodle with minced beef). Also great were the menus which included ping ying in additional to Chinese. Subtracting one star for slow-ish service, but I guess we're in Europe and plus the restaurant filled up really quickly past 7. Tons of Chinese people in the restaurant as well.

Authentic Chinese food. Specialized in Sichuan cuisine. Relatively large portion. Wide selection of dishes in addition to spicy food.

Authentic Chinese food. Specialized in Sichuan cuisine. Relatively large portion. Wide selection of dishes in addition to spicy food. Recommend Dandan noodle and beef soup noodle.

Whew! Great prices, just what we were looking for in Italy!

For those of you who had enough of pasta, pizza, etc., "Tin House" is a savior from the main stay (Italian food). Even if it's Chinese, there's hints of the Italian and Indian in the food

This is a decent Chinese restaurant. Good menu choices, and authentic Chinese food. Reasonable price. Good ambience too.

This place is tasty. However service is not so great. We waited 45 min for our 2nd dish. We were full by the time our third dish was served.

Look, I didn't come all the way to Rome expecting to have one of the best sushi meals I've had in…read moreyears--but Sushisen absolutely delivered. We grabbed seats at the rotating bar (kaiten style), and let me just say that if you're someone who loves watching food go by like it's an edible runway show, this is your jam. Plate after plate of beautifully crafted nigiri, maki, and fresh bites just glide past you, and you can take whatever catches your eye. It's a low-pressure, high-satisfaction way to eat. Nothing felt mass-produced--everything tasted carefully made, with that clean, precise flavor you hope for in sushi. Our favorites were the salmon belly nigiri, which was buttery and rich without being overwhelming. The shrimp tempura roll had the perfect crunch-to-soft-rice ratio. And the spicy tuna had just enough kick to keep it interesting without trying too hard. Even the wasabi felt dialed in--not a sinus assault, just a smart accent. And whoever's in charge of plating back there clearly respects the artform. These plates aren't just tasty--they're a little bit elegant. The interior manages to feel sleek and modern while still being cozy. And since we were seated at the counter we got to watch the chefs at work which was a true highlight. Quiet craftsmanship, no fuss, just focus and intention. Staff were kind and helpful, and while I didn't sample the sake or wine (for religious reasons), the servers never made it weird. Just warm, professional hospitality all around. Pro tip: Sit at the bar, go with an open mind, and trust your eyes. If it looks good, it is good. And maybe skip breakfast--you'll want room for more plates than you think.

We figured it was an answer to our rice issue and off we went in search of rice and sushi. Food: they offer an unlimited option for lunch and dinner and have a big list to choose from. There is also an a la carte menu. We chose to go with the unlimited and were satisfied with our pickings. We ordered: Sushi: Tamago Dragon roll Salmon roll The sushi was good, rice was cooked well. Other entrees: Fried rice Katsudon Pork cutlet Fried chicken cutlet Ebi tempura Tom kha soup Everything tasted good with the exception of the tom kha soup. Appearance wise, the coconut milk was real bubbly and taste wise, something was off. after one sip, we figured it would be safe not to eat it in fear of bubble guts. All in all, we would visit again if the rice craving hits. It's a decent price, food is made to order and the staff are nice. They make it a point to let you know that whatever food is left over, they may charge you extra, so order wisely! Location: its a 5 minute walk from the Termini station.

The tall filipino girl, just stood there and had a stone face stare, when I told I her I didn't want to sit near the entrance door where the cigarette smoke was coming in, she asked us to stand outside instead and wait until they open and we watch her moping the floors pass the opening hours. Highly unprofessional. When her friends came in, like a school girl jumping up/down. The way she explain how to operate the machine was confusing. She didn't offer a printed menu, we had to ask for it. She wasn't as helpful as expected. The Food needs much improvements as it Fried Chicken was dry and tasteless...this indicated it was frozen and not fresh. She erved rice way before the food came, it ended up cold. Ramen Noodles, egg on top was well done, 2 sliver pc of meat taste like leather, 1pc of seaweed and green onions, only thing that taste good was the broth. The Teriyaki salmon on the stick must've been frozen fish...dried and tasteless, had it not been for the sauce, this would've been a turn off. While paying...not one thank you or a smile. This whole experience was a joke and not worthy of a repeat in business. I wouldn't even rate anything, but I'll give it 1 star to post this and hopefully that no one else have to go thru this uneventful experienced
