I'm very happy to have found these honest, knowledgeable, kind folks. Ladies, if you're anything like me ... know how to drive a car (that's debatable per my brother!) but know little about maintenance and repairs...go here! I hate to admit, I fall into the category of these type of women when it comes to the auto thing! I know many women are very smart in this respect but I'm just not. I'm "auto naive". I believe my colleague (who's father who passed away even did business with them years ago) when she says they will honestly tell you what service you need. They will not lie and tell you something else needs repair to make more money off you. There is no such thing as a "30,000 mile maintenance with a 30 point check" or whatever said the son to me when we discussed what the dealer service told me. He cautioned me: that's a way for dealers to tell the auto naive of "problems" that do not exist. Then get you to pay for parts/service you don't truly need. "You fix things as needed at whatever mile" per the son. So I drove 7 miles clear opposite direction from my way home after work to give this place a try yesterday. It's totally worth the trip!! I will be taking my car there from now on hands down. It's a feeling of relief I've gained. Priceless. I got an oil change plus inspection done for around $52. Very fair in pricing. Give them a try. I had no issue moving my vehicle when asked. However, instead of knocking on my window or speaking to me first, the owner opened my driver's door and began yelling that I was on private property. While I understand the lot is private and would have moved immediately if asked, I found it inappropriate and unprofessional for someone to open my vehicle door without permission rather than simply knocking and requesting that I move.

Well, they were incorrect, Top Value Transmissions got in touch with me and let me know that they take care of that. Amy, the owner wasn't sure if that was gonna be the actual problem or not until she saw it for herself. So I brought my van out there, it's borderline wheatfield and Niagara Falls, New York.. She had to order the part because I did in fact need the sensor, and it took six days to get there, so I went without a van, but I could've gotten it if I wanted it bad enough I just didn't really care at that point, I was so fed up with needing so much stuff done to the van to pass inspection. Amy found a lot of problems with it, of course. So she replaced the brakes and brake pads and other things that I don't know but everything that it definitely needed. And then eventually did the transmission sensor. Forgetting all the work done that I did it didn't cost too much. I mean it was a lot a lot for me. I can't afford anything is everybody knows, but just under $2000 to get a lot of work done. But just driving it home the van felt like a completely different van. Felt so nice. So she was able to take care of the job. I highly recommend her. She goes into detail about what you need. She's not a bullshitter and she even holds onto the parts that she took from your vehicle that were damaged and shows you afterwards and boy was mine in dire need of parts. Thank you, Amy and crew.

Dan was super flexible in getting the car checked out and giving me a price, then allowing me to drop it off in the morning a few days later to pick it up later that afternoon since my work conflicted with getting it fixed the first day I dropped it off. I was a bit late in picking it up due to a ride issue, which ended up working out okay because the part I needed hadn't arrived yet. I did wait a while in the shop to pick up my car, but Dan was nice enough to give me a discount on the bill. The extra time I spent there wasn't really a big deal at all. They also did my friend's head gasket and timing belt repair on his Subaru about a year ago at the same time as my last review and did a fantastic job for a really good price. More recently, they fixed a part of my friend's electronics in his car in about an hour or so. Overall have been having pretty good experiences here and the mechanics are always very open to telling you what you should or shouldn't get fixed. I send all my friends over to Dan the Car Man!

Now they want me to pay for damages caused in there shop after already giving them $2500 more then what the repairs cost at any other shop! This shop screwed me over good! I brought the truck in for a lifter and camshaft fix, and came out with a leak in the exhaust manifold, one that was not there when I brought it in. My truck has always sounded great and even when I brought it in, it sounded the same way. Now I have to drive around with a loud noise coming from the engine that was never there before. Instead of the company doing the right thing and just fixing what they broke, they handed me a $220 bill to fix it instead. I got nothing but excuses from them of why it's not there fault as if I'm some idiot who doesn't know anything about vehicles. To conclude, I actually didn't wanna do a review, and waited, in hopes they'd call to make things right.
