I found this place via the Visit Idaho website. My husband and I wanted to go somewhere and do something we've never done...but within road trip range. Mica Moon has a few different zip lining options. Since my husband and I haven't been active in a while (quarantine life!) we settled on the basic 3 hour (9 line) tour. I highly recommend going with this company if you are in the Northern Idaho area and want to try for the first time. Ben and Brandon were phenomenal tour guides. They cracked jokes at each other and had tons of knowledge to share about each zip line and the history of the land it's on. This was our first time zip lining and we had no reservations about jumping off of the platforms with Ben and Brandon there to guide us. The highest line we did was as tall as the space needle (in Seattle) and the longest was over 3500 feet! Unfortunately the videos didn't turn out well- the harnesses covered up our phone cameras. I would totally do this again. Please be sure to bring cash to tip your tour guide with. I picked the best time to go zip lining. Aden and Nicole were very friendly and helpful. This was my first time going to zip lining. I was very nervous doing the first zip lining and there were 9 total. The level gets more challenging and longer but more fun. Aden was a very funny gentleman. This is such an awesome thing to do if you're in Spokane! It came up as one of the best things to do if you're in the area, so we decided to look into it. I was surprised it was only $100 per person for a 3 hour tour. It starts off with an informative drive up to the mountain, followed by a drive in the carts up to the loading station where you get your gear on, then off to the zip lines! The highest zip line we did was over 2000 ft high. It was fun and a little scary, but I felt safe at the same time. Our guides were both fantastic and did a good job making everyone laugh. I can't remember the guys name who was with us, but Heidi (who is also an owner) was thankfully one of our guides the day we came. Highly recommended! I came here this past Saturday and had an amazing time with my family! Drew & Nathan were our guides and they made the tour that much better with their humor and upbeat personalities. Not only were the views beautiful but it was so much fun to go through the 9 zip lines, which took about 3 hours. Drew & Nathan helped ease everyone's nerves as we advanced to each line, my 12 year old daughter started off scared but by the second line she was ready to go and didn't even hold on! This place is very big on safety, which seems like a no brainer but not all companies are as thorough as these guys; upon arrival you fill out your waiver and then you will be weighed to make sure you are within the weight capacity and after that a series of minor health questions are asked (yes or no answers), once everyone is cleared you load up in a van and drive about 15 mins up to the mountain where you get your safety gear on and for the first zip you will ride up to it in a UTV! I will definitely come back at some point, it is a little spendy to do stuff like this but that is not anything against the company! When we got back to the office after zip lining the owner of the company greeted us, which was super nice! Thank you all for such a memorable experience! read more

so, awesome experience, spend the money, you will be glad you did. I zip lined once before (Costa Rica), and this a much better (longer, safer, and more lines.) The guys were awesome, personable, made a point to connect with each zip liner. And going with a good group helps. you need to show up 30 minutes before your time in order to check in. Taylor checked is in, and ran through some of the necessary safety schtick. Also, you check in at an office building, then bussed (van) up to the mountain, then UTV the rest of the way. Hopefully your guys are as good as ours (Abe & Cam). Characters who are there to keep you safe, but make it fun. oh, and the two hours go by quickly- seems like minutes. read more

Very nice crew and professional. We did the Tree Top Adventure. Very fun and well made. My only complaint is that there were a lot bee/wasp nests that were under the platforms and obstacles that had been building for a while. They could have been taken care of prior to our visit. My nephews both got stung many times as well as myself. The bee stings took away from our adventure. read more

We were out celebrating my best friend graduating from EWU with her masters in social work!! The tour leaders were fun and energetic. My favorite was riding the 6 person side by side up the mountain and then zipping back down! So fun! I highly recommend taking this course for fun or even for a challenge! It was really good time out with my girl friends but also time for me to look deep inside and reflect on my fears. IT WAS FUN!!!!! Only problem was at Aerial Park some of the obstacles were so far apart... it was hard for kids to get across them. Most of them they figured out. That's why a 4 Star. Zip line was good... there IS a wood sway bridge towards the end. Last line was the very best. They do need to hand out water at the start and middle (not 4 oz bottles) . Hubby and I needed to get away for some fun. This was our first zip tour and it will not be our last! John and Cam were so helpful. We were met at the office by Rick and he explained a lot to us. John took us to the site and talked about local history on the way. We aren't from around here so this was a great way to learn about the area. There were four of us in the tour. One of the tour companions said they felt safe the whole time. I think that says it all. Even though one zip was done in heavy rain, the entire tour was a great time and I would do the whole thing in the rain! In 2019 we took our first ever Zip Line Tour (at Mica Moon) and were HOOKED ! We vowed we would be back. Life got in the way in 2020, but this spring (2021) we returned for another awesome adventure with Mica Moon. The weather was "just right"... not to hot and sunny, nor cold and wet. Our guides this trip were Andrew and Heidi. Both were superb. Although their manner was very upbeat and loads of fun, they were very professional throughout the entire adventure. From the initial pre-zip briefing, to dropping us back at their office in town nine zips later, we felt we were in very competent hands. The ride up (and down) the mountain via four wheel ATVs was great fun, and Andrew kept us entertained with a colorful verbal history of the area and the mountain we would be Ziplining down. Their gear is top notch, and the guides double and triple check each person's harness and other equipment frequently during the 9 different "zips" that make up the complete tour. At no point did we ever feel our safety was compromised in the least. From a very short "starter" zip (maybe 50 feet) to the "BIG MOMMA" zip at 3500+ feet long, this is an adrenaline rush you just shouldn't miss. It's definitely something to place on your bucket list. we came here during our northwest roadtrip, and had an absolutely wonderful experience!! from start to finish this visit was truly memorable. on the way up the mountain, drew told us some history about liberty lake as well as the backstory of mica moon; it was super informative and interesting! then, my partner and i did the tree top adventure supervised by noah and julia. before we began impersonating tarzan, noah gave us a short, hands-on briefing to prepare us for our experience. being that we were the first group to be receiving his guidance, he did amazing! he was very knowledgable and helpful, which made us feel safe. julia was so funny and super supportive as well! she watched me slowly but surely make my way across the course, and didn't hesitate to provide encouragement. being super afraid of heights, i held on to the cable for the majority of the time, so her words were very helpful. also, when i would finally make it to a stable platform, she would give me tips and tricks to make it across certain obstacles with ease. i absolutely adored and appreciated julia, so i hope to see her again when we eventually come back for the zip line tour. after our experience, we were taken back to the meeting location, and drew kept us preoccupied with conversation so easily. overall, our experience was wonderful! if i could give them more than 5 stars, i would. i 100% recommend visiting mica moon if you're in the surrounding areas (or even out of state)! read more

Oh my gosh!!! This was my third time doing zip lines, Oregon and Hawaii, and this place is AMAZING!!!! First 4-5 zips were pretty standard then, right after the short hike, it gets NUTZZZ!!! You zip over this huge expanse and it's so high up and long, it's insane. Then the last zip is even longer and unbelievably fast. You come whizzing into the tree line and they are just flying by so fast. Guides were excellent. Felt safe the entire time. Definitely a place to stop if you are in the Spokane Coeur D'Alene area. read more

This is the most excellent time I've experienced in YEARS ! Let me say right up front... I felt COMPLETELY SAFE from the moment we had our first introductory orientation at their downtown office location... to when we were returned to the office parking lot several hours later. Cam and John were our Zip Tour Guides. They both were super attentive and serious about individual needs in our group as we were getting into our harnesses and other Zipping gear, but also did so in a very lighthearted and upbeat manner. Local stories about past century "Moonshiners" on the mountain making early day runs of liquor, and other local history made the ride up the mountain (in a full sized VAN) very interesting. After we were dropped off up on the mountain, another brief ride (this time in 4x4 ATVs, took us took us to our first Zip Tour platform. After a couple of short Zips for us to get the HANG of it (Pun Intended), we were escorted by our guides on progressively Longer and Higher Zip Tours. At the end of the 9th (last) Zip Line, everyone in our group was ready and willing to turn right around and do it again ! (it was just that much FUN) One of the Guides is with you as you START each Zip, and another Guide is waiting to "catch" you on the opposite (end) of each Zip. The mountain scenery is beautiful anytime of the year, but we're planning a few more tours next year for Mid Spring, and Late Fall when the trees and meadows are most colorful.
