Beautiful camp site. Friendly environment. Close to the amusement park which was nice!

We stayed here so we could enjoy a small trip from home and not have to drive back from Silverwood after a long day. Pros: Great Silverwood shuttle service. Perfectly on time and the shuttle wasn't overly complicated or hot. Grounds and landscaping is nice. If you have kids, there's a small playground, and there's volleyball net and basketball court. I love camp resorts that have a dog park. This one does. We did not bring ours on this trip but I did notice this. The store/check in building was very nice, modern. It has flush toilet facilities. All sites have electric/water. Even if in a tent (which we are). Staff was nice, friendly and professional. The man who drive the shuttle was memorable for his smile and friendly disposition. There was a nice clean looking pool. We didn't use as it wasn't why we were there. Although there were no campfire rings, they do have propane pits for rent for $10/night. Cons: Near the freeway so there is lots of noise. Not very much shade as I expected from the description on the website about there being some. Absolutely no bathrooms except port a potties unless the main office is open and it's a walk from most sites. The port a potties are pretty full. No extra facilities that really help tent campers like camp sinks, showers etc. We were told there were tent sites, but we got here and found out there aren't exactly that. They just put you in an RV spot. This was crowded and noisy and we had people spotlighting, slamming RV doors, and walking through our site day and night. We were told we had to put our tent on the gravel RV pad. No tents allowed on the grass. This was uncomfortable and hard to do with the staking. Each night, sprinklers would come on and spray our tent even though we were on the gravel. This also meant that we needed to put away everything in our car every night to avoid having it get wet. The store is lacking. It is only very basic. We had to go to a real grocery store. The prices were great, though. No gouging. read more

Clean and full of amenities. We stayed in a back in spot with full hookups. Plenty of trash receptacles, even portapotties. Beautiful heated pool, small store with sundries. Playground, dog park, basketball and volleyball courts. Propane tank for refills. Dump station, conveniently positioned on your way out. We didn't use their shuttle to Silverwood, opting instead to drive the 1 mile and pay $5 for parking. It is close to the freeway so there's definitely road noise. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend a higher numbered spot thats further from the office and highway. read more

It's a nice RV Resort. They have nicely manicured grounds, a small store, a pool, a new playground, basketball court, volleyball, a dog park, and a shuttle to the local amusement park. What won't be available here is a laundry room or full service restrooms with showers. Most sites are without sewer. The higher prices do not reflect this but we did stay on a weekend and most other RV parks were full so we were grateful to be here. Lots of kids and dogs and it was very safe. Love the city of Coeur d'Alene nearby. Beautiful area. read more

Nice amenities but HORRIBLE customer service from employees. Our site was right next to a worker's site, and at 615am his dog was barking.... And it continued for almost an hour and a half!!!! When confronted, the man was rude and acted like he had the right to do whatever he wanted. You might get lucky when you stay and have a nice time. Or you could end up interacting with an entitled employee who ruins a whole day of your trip with no remorse. The gamble is yours. But I know I won't be chancing my luck here again. EVER. read more

NO LAUNDRY. I REPEAT NO LAUNDRY. RV resorts need laundry. Huge building and no laundry. Ridiculous. Nice. Clean. Peaceful. Quiet. Sites not huge. But better then most. But honestly no laundry? WiFi is also horrible. read more

My family's favorite campground! The pool is great, staff is so friendly and accommodating, and everything is very well kept! I wouldn't recommend it for tent only campers though because they only have a pool bathroom and porta potties (no showers). We have been every year for the past 3 years and have never had a bad experience! read more

Nice pool, that's where the good stuff ends. They operate 8-8 so when the office closes find a tree to pee. No public washrooms from 8pm to 7:59 am. Only shower has the same hours by the pool. They have a shuttle to silverwood yes, it runs 4 times a day, miss it at exactly 10:30am your SOL and driving. Your only way back at 9:30pm? Be there before 9:30pm and not a minute later. We were there at 9:32, saw it driving off in the distance... time to walk back, make sure to bring water. Ravenwood is Ravenhood. Would not tent with our friends and their RV again. Prolly better than Silverwood RV but not by much. Book Farragut early! Unless you love birdhouses with kids plastic animals glued on them read more

Love this place! We stayed here for two nights in July and the park was sold out yet it didn't feel crowded. The park has lots of tall trees and open grass spaces. We stayed along the back fence in the full hook up section. Noise from the 95 was minimal and definitely not bothersome. The park is extremely clean and the staff is incredibly sweet and helpful! They actually called us back to let us know they had a cancellation in a full hook up so we could move up. We will definitely stay here again! read more

This place was nice. It was clean and the only complaint was some spaces had trees blocking satellite access which is important to campers like me. The location was perfect if you need to visit Coeur d'Alene or Hayden. The store didn't have much but the gals were friendly. read more

Unfriendly and unprofessional office staff. The customer is not the priority. Nice location and vicinity to Silverwood. Curfew was not enforced (late night parties and 6am loud early risers). No restroom or shower facilities and no sewer hook-ups. No fire pits. No laundry. read more

This was our home base while checking out Silverwood amusement park. I have nothing bad to say about it. Everyone was super friendly, check in was a breeze, sites are spacious with full hookups (water, sewer and electric), and it was very clean. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool but it looked nice. Dog friendly with a dog park and lots of space to walk your furry companion. I'd definitely stay here again if we make it back to Idaho. Ravenwood was way nicer then the RV park attached to Silverwood and it was only a mile or so away. They also have a free trolley to take you there when staying at the park. Would recommend! read more

This is the best campground that I have stayed at! The owner of this place is extremely helpful and kind. All of the staff are very friendly people. I only brought an extremely long collapsible hose for water and though the on site store had hoses the owner lent me a shorter hose that would work better for this location. Though the resort is still a work in progress, all of the sites are nice smooth river rock pads with plenty of electrical hook ups for all size RV's. Each site also has a potable water connection. We also got a site with the sewer connection for this trip since we had extra people staying with us. The owner and his staff are continously working on the property to improve it for both esthetics and customer uses. My family and I will DEFINITELY be back! I would like to say thank you to all of the staff/ owners for making our vacation very memorable. read more

Newer resort located near Silverwood Theme Park. It's a nice park but it lacks an important amenity. There is no sewer dumps unless you reserve a pull through. This is not good when you have four people in a motor home and three of them are women. This is a nice park but without dumps at each site I can never go back. Last issue is the pool is small and unheated. read more

Unfortunately I can't review the grounds itself, because we didn't get to stay there. We were on a roadtrip on our way there when the lovely Tammy called us to inform us it was snowing. We were at a vital point in our route to either travel north on our original route to Athol, or head the south route. She not only saved us deposits we made at other locations with this original route by allowing us the time to cancel, but also many miles and frustration if we had kept on the way we were going. We had checked the weather before leaving and it didn't say snow, so we were committed to going. With two small kids in tow, she saved us more than she can know! read more

Really beautiful resort. They have a big pool, park, basketball court, volleyball court and and off leash fenced dog park. The only thing they don't have just yet are restrooms(but they do have port a Johns) and showers(though they will be getting them eventually). They are nicely priced too and have a trolly shuttle to Silverwood Theme Park too which is very nice(free with stay at park. Sue was an excellent help and our spot was open so we were able to check in early. read more

When this place is done, it will be one of the best for states around. The people/family that run it made our stay exceptional. Thank you!! The buildings that are there are of the highest quality, the hook-up station are clean, the grounds are well monitored with a nice little store inside. We had water, electric, wifi but no sewer. Fine for us. They even figured out a spot where we didn't have to unhook our 20-foot trailer. (65 total) Some things to look forward will be the really nice pool, shower rooms and bathrooms. Looks like there will be a bath house halfway through the property which will be awesome. The pull-thru, full hook-up sites were all full our entire time. There were a lot of tent campers. We took advantage of the discounted tickets to sIlverwood amusement park. We spent the whole day. We didn't go, but we saw they have a water park there also. To us, it was like a small Knott's Berry Farm. Very charming. The Magic show and the train ride were better than they needed to be. Our favorite ride was backlash... Or something like that. Ravenwood had a free shuttle that took us over and picked us up. Perfect!! They seem very handicapped accessible with the pool, shuttle and even the picnic tables. Way to go!! We were just coming from sturgis and wanted to get more riding in. The owner suggested some routes and they were an excellent way to see the area. We'll be back!!! read more

Be warned, full hookups mean only electric and water except for a few sites. They will come with a portable tank to empty your tank but ONLY grey water not the black which is the one you really need emptied. Nice pool but ice cold. Have been rv'ing to Silverwood for many years staying at Blackwell island or the Silverwood rv Park. Thought we would give this place a try for something new. Sad to say very disappointed, won't be back. read more

Campsites are very clean and good size but most only have water and power (no sewer). Gravel rv pads with nice green grass between each. No tents allowed on grass as sprinklers turn on at 2am. If tent camping be sure to bring some foam or cot (unless you like sleeping on gravel). They warn you to put everything on gravel to avoid getting wet from sprinklers. Pool was clean but cold...seems like they have a leak in the pool equipment as 2 hoses were going into pool filling it the entire weekend while pool heater tried to heat it but was still chilly. I'd hate to see their next gas bill! Ran out of rv tp and store inside office said they were out of rv tp too since it is the end of the season. Bought some at the super1 grocery store in Athol about 10 mins away. Campground location is only a quick bike ride to Silverwood. Not sure why more people don't ride their bikes instead of taking the tram or driving. We saw a few Eagles soaring over our campsite at day and millions of stars at night. Propane fire pits were an extra $10 day to rent. Bayview and Farragut are about 15-20 min drive. read more

This is a very nice newer RV resort, very clean and friendly staff in office as well as camp hosts. Owner Jeff was very helpful with giving us information on RV repair as we were having issues when we arrived. We were scheduled for a week but with our issues we spent another week, what a place to spend extra time! Beautiful area to spend a weekend or a month. Will definitely return next season. read more

They advertise as a pet friendly RV park however they do not accept all breeds. When we made reservations we told them we had 2 dogs they said NO problem. When we signed in they only asked the number of dogs we had with us, I told them 2. After 2 day staying there the manager come over and patted our dogs and told us that our breed of dogs were not allowed in their park. If the park had of been full he would kick us out. We packed up and left never to return. read more

Excellent campground that is only two years old! Staff is very friendly and operate a trolley to Silverwood Amusement park that is only a couple minutes away. While there, travel into Farragut State Park and into the floating town of Bayview. read more

We planned our family reunion at Ravenwood Resort. Hadn't heard anything about them but they did not disappoint!!!! The grounds were very well maintained & the staff was amazing. What a great place to camp!! Lots of motorcycles, RV's, TT and tents! Easy access from the freeway, great customer service, great layout for camping sites and an awesome swimming pool! We would have rated it with 5-stars but there are no public showers available as of yet. read more

We enjoyed our stay at the Ravenwood RV Resort. Loved the cleanliness and location. We travel with two large dogs and thought that the dog yard was a great idea. Our only recommendation would be to have more sites available for the sewer hook up, or to add an additional dump site as the line was over a hour to empty our black water tank. Another great option would be to have an adult only hot tub area as the small size of the pool was highly populated by several children, understandable however as we are just a mile from the amusement park. When my family came here for a small getaway, we were shocked on how nice it was. It was well kept and decorated, the staff and campers were friendly, and it had a lovely pool! It even had a little shop, and a shuttle that went back and forth to a near by amusement park. The only downsides was that they did not offer showers, and sewer hook ups are limited. The only available bathroom is next to the pool. Other than that, our family has had a blast, and we would come again! read more

HUGE beautiful park, but only partial hookups on most sites (no sewer). For a small fee, they would empty your gray water tanks for you. Only 4 min from Silverwood with reliable shuttle service to and from the park. (Only a mile walk if needed). NOISY - kids, pets, train. This is a family friendly park, but some parents decided it was a discipline free time and let their kids roam the park unsupervised. The staff doesn't seem to enforce established rules. A lot of unleashed dogs, wild kids and crowded sites. Nice pool area, did not use due to crowding. No bathrooms, honeypots were full and stinky and folks allowed the doors to slam as they exited, adding to the noise pollution. Huge garbage cans were overflowing. Uneven lots, but the grass was well maintained and green. We were advised that we could put anything on the grass that wouldn't kill it, and were warned that it would get wet from sprinklers. The wifi was very unreliable, but we were there to have fun not surf the web. I wanted to give a 5 star rating - This park is has been here for a handful of years and will be making more improvements (hopefully full hookups on all sites). We would stay here again. read more

We stayed in this resort at the end of July 2015. The resort was under development. Liked the RV space, it was long and we were able to park 33 feet long trailer + truck. But no showers and good restrooms. They installed temp.toilets on the coners of the property but it was too far away on 10 acres property. No wifi, no cable, no pool. Fortunately we spend most time in Silverwood Theme park. The location of rv park 2 miles from Silverwood. Needs more trees for shadow and privacy, feels like rv parking not resort. Overall, it was good experience, happy to find this resort, will come back in few years when all construction are done. read more

This place is great! Staff went above and beyond. The campground is clean and peaceful. You can rent a propane fire pit. There's a trolley to take you back and forth to Silverwood. This place was TERRIBLE! They were not ready to open. There were no showers. One outhouse. One bathroom that wasn't meant to be used by a bunch of people. The sites just had dead grass with tons of rocks. There was no dumping in the sites, you had to take your RV to the front of the campground to dump. The pool still wasn't open and doesn't look like it will be opening soon. The store had a very limited amount of stock on hand. Don't stay at this campground this summer. They won't be ready for you at. All. read more

The beautifully landscaped entrance belies the Ravenwood situation. The hosts will politely tell you that they have yet to have showers, pool and septic. If you are lucky enough you will not be assigned a site of dust, weeds and blazing summer sun. There are many sites that look very comfortable but for $41 per night the hosts should determine a rotation pattern for many others that are just not ready for repeated use until they are finished. read more

This RV park is one of the cleanest we have ever been to. The family that runs the park are wonderful, very welcoming, kind, and helpful. They have put in a very nice swimming pool, volleyball and basketball courts to keep the kids busy. They were working on a big dog park which will be huge and amazing with lots of nice shade trees for our pets when done. They still do not have bathrooms or showers, but had plenty of very clean sani-cans available. Things like that take time to build and put in, and once they get them there is no doubt they will be beautiful and well maintained. The store we found to be sufficiently stocked, clean, and decent prices. They also have a shuttle bus that will take you and pick up several times a day from Silverwood at no extra charge. Overall, a 5 star park and we will definitely recommend to family and friends, and will be returning to whenever we are over here. Thank you! read more
