I came to this place twice. Tiffany did my pedicure. The first time I came she left a gap on my toe nails. The second time I called her to make an appointment on Thursday at 2pm. However she called me that day to make the appointment at 4:30pm. Moments later she called again to forward my appointment at 5pm. Then I told her too late for me. After that she said "What about Saturday at 11am?" I said ok. On Friday she called me twice again saying she wanted me to come at 5pm. I said no it's too late. Then on Saturday she called me again asking me to come at 10:40am. So she was rude saying "Are you coming or what?" So I came on Saturday at my 11am appointment. She has to consider that people have schedules and other things to do. When I arrived she was unfriendly so she started doing the pedicure and leaving the same gaps on my toe nails. So I asked her not to do that to put the nail polish close to the skin. She started complaining and being rude. She did fix it but still left a gap. She made it very difficult on me. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Ok I started out loving this place and after 4 visits have had a change of heart. I will say jimmy and Tiffany do an amazing job so if you can tolerate the experience you will Leave with beautiful nails. THEY PLAY HORROR MOVIES AT FULL BLAST VOLUME!! For some people this may be ok but I find this unbearable and have left completely stressed every time. I don't just mean suspense scary I mean full on torture blood and guts gory movies. I find this completely unacceptable. Once a kid walked in and I told jimmy how inappropriate it was to have the movie going with a kid present and he just laughed at me. The first tome I thought it was just a fluke but everytjme after they have turned one on. So if you're a horror movie enthusiast this place is for you, I'll stick to my salons that play food network and HGTV. read more

The one who did my nails was young and had glasses, thank you and sorry for not knowing your name. At least it was cheap? Walked in at a Thursday around 10:30 and asked for a gel manicure. The man told me to sit down and offered a board to pick a color. My nails were not soaked at this point to soften the cuticle like at most salons. Instead my nails were pushed back and trimmed with force, several hours later some of my nails are still sore and one cuticle actually bled. The then proceeded to file my nails, push them back, and cut them. During this process he dropped the cuticle clipper on the floor and picked it up and started sing again so not the cleanliest place. He also used an electronic filer which I thought was sort of weird since I have natural nails and in buffing my nails also filed the skin which was uncomfortable. The application of gel nail polish was decent. I have a few tiny bubbles but overall it is decent looking. For gel they use Gelish nail polish but their normal colors seemed limited and lacking in high quality polishes. At the end I was given a pea size amount of lotion to rub on my own hands.....no massage here. The service was only 20 dollars which is on the cheap end but I would gladly pay more for a relaxing service that didn't hurt and was salon with better sanitary practices. Just got my nails done there yesterday and i was very impressed. I went because i saw that he could do airbrush designs which i absolutely love! He has so many intricate designs to choose from. And on top of that he did a wonderful job with my nails. You can tell that he has a lot of experience and he did take a lot of time filing and shaping my nails making sure there were no lumps and making them thin just the way i like them. I'll start with the positives, he was fast and got the shape of my nail that I wanted. Other than that I'll never be back to get my nails done. He didn't care that he was hurting my nails when he was filing or cutting my cuticles, I haven't had my nails so sore for a day in a few years. I had asked for a simple design and he took out this airbrushing tool, I had said can you just paint them black and he told me it was too late. Even though he had only put a clear coat on. Once he finished the design which was horrible I asked if he was going to fix a spot and he tried to argue with me about the picture I had shown him on what I wanted. I've never had such attitude from a nail salon, oh and they don't take reservations only walk ins so expect to wait about 40 min before they even see you. read more

I've been going faithfully to Jimmy and Tiffany for years.. I've been to nearly every single nail shop in SD and they're BY FAR the BEST. The nails are always even n not lumpy like other places. Jimmy does the best airbrush (those r my pics) I've ever seen and though it's not a fancy salon the work they do overshadows anything.. No matter how busy they get they take their time on each customer like you are the 1st and it shows in the end result! No sloppy rushed jobs or skipped steps here. Tiff takes care of the waxing (of everything) and also works on toes and painting the nail art designs. It's a hubby n wife run salon n they work just perfect together being the two of them n manage their rush hour perfectly. I just don't know how they flow so well! They also have just one other lady to work on pedi's.. Great place for nails, toes, waxing.. I love it, prices are reasonable but depending on the kind of airbrush (simple or complicated) a full set can run u around $30-$35. read more

Great quality nails! Just had my nails done there for the first time, and am very impressed. He took a lot of time to make sure my nails were perfect. Acrylic is even and thin all over. Not chunky or uneven, like the rush nail jobs I have gotten before. Although the place isn't new, and pristine like some places, they make up for it with really great quality service; which is far more important to me than brand new interiors.
