I love the staff at this nail salon. They are so sweet and charming. I get the best Mani and Pedi's I have ever had here, and I'm a senior who has been getting my nails done for years. I especially like the attention to my toes, as I have a tendency to get ingrown toenails, and they address that before it becomes a painful issue! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this nail salon for gel tip finger nails. They are good for toes, in my experience as I had them done in the last few weeks and thought I'd give them a second chance on nails after years of a bad experience I never posted about. This is my second time in years getting my nails done here, and I only tried again bc I thought maybe they would have improved in years gone by. I had my nails done two days ago with gel and tips done long. The first attempt by one woman was terrible. The owner then said she'd fix it. At first when done I thought it looked fine but as I left I realized they were just as bad. It's very difficult to build a round natural nail shape in the middle with gel. My nails look flat and warped and not even. Maybe they are better with acrylic but I'm extremely dissatisfied with my gel nails. They're basically wasted money. So unfortunate. I don't have it on me to call and ask for my money back. They also already look like I need a fill. I shortened them more so they'd look a little better but I'm embarassed. I dont get my nails done often but needed to for work and now have to get them redone somewhere. SMH. Maybe the photos don't reflect but they look worse in person. read more

The worst mani-pedi of my life, sadly. The older lady who was doing my pedi was so aggressive and acted like she did NOT want to be there, so not friendly! The gal who was doing my manicure was at least friendly! BUT the worst french ($7 more) gel manicure ever. It looked like a thick line of white puffy paint on the tip. It was so thick that it didn't cure and it smudged within 30 min of leaving the salon and started peeling after a day. $75 later I had to get them redone at another salon. I had a really disappointing experience at Sparkle Nails & Spa in Vista. The quality of the nail work was honestly some of the worst I've had. The nails were mishapen, uneven, and poorly finished, and it was clear there was very little attention to detail. What should have been a relaxing appointment turned into me constantly noticing things that were wrong with the shape and structure of the nails. When I brought it up, the customer service was just as disappointing as the nail quality. Instead of trying to correct the issues or make it right, the response felt dismissive and unprofessional. A good salon should stand behind their work and care about the client experience, and that simply didn't happen here. Between the poor craftsmanship and lack of care toward customers, I would not recommend Sparkle Nails & Spa. I'm a brand new mom and we're still working on the house, so I opted not to get my nails painted, so I can't comment on that, BUT my entire experience there was 10+stars! My husband and I always go get a pedicure durning the week and after work although it's towards the end of their day take us with no question and right away... we have never waited! We always see Julie and Anna, they are so kind and do a great job. They take their time with the whole process and I am always happy with the finished result. I had just moved from Tokyo where gel nails are a big thing and customer service is everything. So by reading their reviews I thought I would like this place. However, the lady asked me what I had on my nails, I said gel. She kept on arguing it was powder at least 3 times. (Hello? I was there when I got it done‍). Anyway, Japanese gel is different so I was like okay. Then she kept saying stuff to the other staff in Vietnamese which is not nice at all, not in front of clients. I'm new here so maybe that's normal? But to me that's just rude. She tried to make some conversation afterwards which was kind of nice. I broke 2 nails within 2 weeks because I didn't know they had done soft gel (maybe I should have known there are different types of gel here). The edges were done badly as shown in the photos and one nail was super crooked. While the place looked nice and clean I don't know how far they go to sterilize their tools so I did not feel safe. I waited until I tried a different place to write this review and I can say for sure I won't be going back. By the way, this cost me $45, whereas now I pay $50 (plus tip)for an amazing job, hard gel, excellent customer service where everything is 100% sterilized or only used once. read more

This was my first time here, I scheduled my appointment through yelp and it was super easy. I was taken in for my appointment right on time; the employees and customers were all wearing masks. They even spaced us out in the seats prior to starting the pedicure. For my acrylics they were done outside which i didn't mind due to Covid. They have a small easy up and clear cover between you and the nail technician. Michelle did my pedicure with gel and my acrylics. I am extremely pleased with both. She was also very sweet and took her time when shaping my nails. She did not rush at all even though it was kind of humid outside, her priority was making sure I was satisfied with my nails.
