I went here for a pedicure and manicure. I get a simple polish on my nails, nothing fancy. The place wasn't very busy when I walked in, but there was a long wait. I was ignored for quite a bit of time. When someone finally acknowledged me, they set me up with a lady who did my pedicure. I tried desperately to understand her, with no luck. She was talking about me to another lady. They kept looking at me and giggling. I have no idea what they were laughing about. The water was scalding hot. I couldn't put my feet into it. She cooled it down. She was very rough with my feet. She filed my nails down after clipping them, but the file was grating at my skin. It was very uncomfortable. I kept yanking my foot away and tried to explain, but she would grab my foot back and continue to file away! One of the men who was working there came over after my pedicure was done. He was appointed to do my manicure. I told him that my nails were really thin and to be careful with them. He didn't listen to me. He wanted to smooth out the ridges in my nails. I told him not to worry about the ridges and to just polish them. He insisted and he took out the Dremel to file down the ridges. My nails were so thin that I could feel the coolness of the polish when he put it on. My nails felt weird for a long time after that. The polish was sloppy. The sides of the nails were missing polish. He touched one of the nails so it had an uneven finish. I asked him to repair it, but he didn't respond. He just looked at me. I'm not sure if it was a communication problem with the man as it was with the lady or if he really didn't care. I felt unwelcome and out of place from the first moment I stepped into the salon. I should have left right away, but I wanted to give them a chance. I would not recommend this place. I will not be back. read more

Don't come here. I have gotten a manicure here so many times and every time it's not what I ask for, no matter how many times I tell them what I want. Most recently I asked for a powder manicure. I clarified this three times with the person doing my nails and she still did gel. The entire service took two hours. I did NOT want gel because my nails are weak. They used a drill to take off the powder (I did not ask for this) and then put gel on. My nails are now WEAKER than before. Most concerning is that they told me it was Gel X at the end of the service. It was not, it was regular gel. It was $80 bucks. And again, not what I asked for. Separately I came here once for a regular manicure (just polish) and it was the worst manicure I have ever received. The person doing my nails didn't seem to care, they just quickly put the polish on. It was terrible and bumpy. Don't come here. read more

This used to be my go to place. I decided to pop back in for a simple manicure the the other day and will not be back. First off, everything was dirty. From the UV lights to the table tops to the floors, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. It was right after they opened, so there was no reason the floor should have been covered with cut pieces of tips laying all over. The manicure was very rough. I told them I had weak nails, and they used a drill across the top and then proceeded to saw the ends. By the end of the day, my nails were chipping and ripping because they had weakened them further by using the drill. I will not be back. read more

Please be cautious if you go to the male nail tech that sits at station #2, I believe his name is Dennis. I watched him with bloody fingers proceed to use a nail drill on his nails, then take a client. He never washed his hands nor used any type of antiseptic before placing a bandaid, only use of a paper towel. As a health care worker, that poses all types of health risk, with possible exposure to bodily fluid. Due to the language barrier, I am not sure if the manager understood what happened. She smiled and shook her head, like it was a joking matter. I could not help but to file a complaint with the board and write this review. Paying customers need to know that proper hygiene and safety protocols are not being taken seriously or followed in this establishment! I will not be returning, nor do I recommend. Jessica, the tech who did the dipping powder, was extremely rough on my cuticles with the drill. The powder has started to peel off my nails. At this point, I've wasted over $200 between 2 shops in less than 1 week. I will not be going to another nail shop in Vista. PERIOD. read more

I live nearby and go in for simple manicures and pedicures every now and then. While never a great experience they did ok job, until the last time I went in! I have very thick natural nails, the guy who I was sat with didn't seem to know what he was doing and I couldn't understand him AT ALL. He filed the gel polish completely off and with it most of my nails. My toe and finger nails are now so thin they are splitting and tearing as soon as they grow past my nail bed. One toe was so thin my toenail recently peeled completely OFF!!! I don't think all manicurists there are licensed. Please be careful. read more

I have been struggling to find a new spot. My Waze kept telling me to make a U-Turn at a place I had read the reviews and thought I'd try it out. Got frustrated so turned into this strip to see if there were any Nail Salons. Pulled up. Read the Reviews and hoped I didn't whomever was involved in the bad reviews. This Nail Salon has a lot of younger nail techs both male and female. Dim took care of me. We couldn't communicate but, when I let him know I wanted him to cut my left big toe first and then for my right big toe to match in length the gentleman working next to him explained what I wanted. Dim took his time and did a great job. The ONLY thing I wish that would have been different is an issue with ALL nail salons. I want the Foot massage to be a FOOT massage. They spend way too much time on our calves... a great foot massage would make all the difference. If I hit this spot up again I'll ask for Dim. read more

This was my first time at this nail salon, and its always nerveing when you go somewhere new, but Wendy did a great job on my nails. I had acrylics done and wanted something very natural looking (some people use a lot of powder on the nail and the nail looks bulgy & unnatural - biggest fear). She took her time applying the powder and shaping my nails & I really loved how they came out. The one thing I noticed was that they didn't have a selection of powder colors that's applied as the base of the nail that determines the color of the nail ( they use the pink powder and then apply a nail polish to get the neutral look - but you can still see the color pink rather than that neutral base right off the bat. But again, Wendy did a great job overall. Attentive, careful, and asking throughout the process if I liked the nails and that was huge for me. read more
