You will be charged and informed AFTER the fact. However, if you sign up for online recurring autopay, you will NOT have to pay that "convenience fee" every month. So sign up for autopay! If you want to make payment by phone, an additional $3.95 will be charged per payment. Basically, this company finds ways to make money off everything! Mailing a check or paying at the office of the storage facility are other payment options. In light of recent vandalism incidents/police investigation in Shell Road storage location, everyone is required to pay insurance ON TOP of your monthly rent. What a great way for the company to make extra money! Customers can be angry all they want, however, we have no choice if we need to rent storage units. Storage access hours have also been curtailed from 9pm to 7pm, in light of vandalism/robbery. That action makes sense--staff members need to be present in the office, while customers are coming in and out, to maintain a feeling of increased safety.

We emptied everything out, cleaned thoroughly and put everything back in place. Because it was Sunday and the office was closed, we ended up leaving a note to the manager. A year later when we came back to the cell, the mouse droppings were all over inside out of the isolated items in plastic bags --clothes, sheets, blankets, kitchen ware. We had to trash out most of them away including a mini refrigerator and the printer which cables were damaged. We were advised to open a claim to insurance however the insurance rejected to give any compensation regardless of the "dead mouse" photos and other evidence. Never again....

Please read this note below I was totally robbed by them becoz I took the free 1month storage:Delta Moving Company had conveyed to me that they will pick up items from my house on 12/13/2007 at 9AM. But on the day of pick up, they kept postponing the time and finally arrived on 12/15/2007 at 12.30AM midnight. The movers who came to pick up items were very ncorporative, rude and in a rush to just finish up the pick up. The dispatch manager had promised that their company movers would de-assemble and pack all the items. But the movers who came didn't do so and just packed the furniture's in a very careless way in their blankets. The dresser, TV stand, TV & DVD in the TV box, end tables with coffee table were packed by them. They were also aware that there were valuable items in the dresser. In a rush he just asked us to check the items being picked up by them and sign the bill of lading. He then filled the details on "condition at origin" column. We were not aware of this column detail as he mentioned that it is only for company reference. We realized that he has written wrong comments in this column stating "packed by owner" only after discussing with the claim agent. Since all the furniture's were damaged when they delivered our items, we opened the TV box to check the condition of the TV, right in front of the mover. The LCD TV & DVD were missing in the box and 4 blankets of the movers company were stuffed in the box.The mover admitted that it belonged to the company and informed about it to his dispatch manager.Hence we started checking if there are more items missing and found that the dresser which was completely filled was left almost empty. My wife is supposed to travel to abroad this April and hence we had done a lot of shopping. There were a lot of newly purchased cosmetics, perfumes, watches, jewelry & other valuables. The claim co that represent them are the same, they work hand in hand, so you wont get any reimburement for your loss. Please dont go for this movers and do read the bill of lading before you sign. Never get the free storage, but if you take then have a good insurance to cover the loss. I made a mistake by chossing the low insurance rate and have paid penalty.

They did a great job packing all of our items, which included a lot of heavy items, including a large marble table, several couches, and tons of heavy pieces of decor. Everything arrived to our new apartment intact. No items were broken, either! The movers helped to unpack all the large objects and re-constructed our bed and bedframe in the new place as well. Overall, I would highly recommend these movers!

I had to share my experience, because this company did exactly what every relocator's WORST…read morenightmare is. I found them on unpakt.com, called them, and found them to be very helpful and able to accommodate my needs. It was a comfortable 3-4 weeks before our move. We were happy. Then, out of nowhere, 12 days before our move, we get an email that they canceled our move. No phone call, no nothing. Just an email. So, I call them -- and was promptly reassured that the cancellation was a clerical error ("I think my secretary cancelled you by accident"), and that he would get back to me. Saturday comes and goes, no call back. So I call Sunday just to check in, and am told that he is out of the office until Monday morning, but he will be back in the office by 9am and will call me first thing in the morning. I confirm that he knows my name, he tells me he doesn't need a phone number, recites the details for my move -- all in all, I'm feeling confident. Monday, 3pm, no call. So I call him and am sent to voicemail (for the first time) and leave a message explaining that I would REALLY love to hear back, given it's roughly 9 days before our move at this point. Monday, 8pm, no call. It is now Tuesday, 6pm -- still no call. Because of this "clerical error", and frustrating inability to return my REPEATED calls, we were forced to book with a different company -- after going through a number of other companies who were booked by this point. This company jeopardized my entire move, and they STILL have not called to apologize or rectify the situation. They delayed my booking a company that actually DOES want my business by 3 days during a peak season and less than 2 weeks before our move. This was the opposite of reliability. Highly, HIGHLY discouraging.

The first was a two bedroom apartment (but was a 3 flight walk up) and the most recent was a huge 5 bedroom house with A LOT of stuff. They worked for 15 hours and chanrged a very reasonable price. The thing that makes these guys different is the respect they have for your things. They wrapped everything so securely and reassemble all the furniture that they moved. No funiture was ever damaged and no scratches on the wall! They work fast and diligent. All I can say is that if I'm ever moving again they will be the first people I call. I should mention that although they are based in NYC they are very accommodating to anyone in the NJ area. I live in central Jersey and they were there promptly with no problems. So take some of the pain out of moving by hiring these realiable guys. Oh and when you call ask for Tagir (pronounced Tiger, I know how awesome, his name is really Tiger!)

My husband and I checked and rechecked, this caused a lot of tension between us. We have boxes missing from our kitchen, dining room, bedroom, basement, office (that had my writings and our workshop art studio area. Small personal items that I have had all my life are gone. I was in contact with Natalie from Impress and she was rude and condescending by asking questions about me being sure that I unpacked everything. REALLY???? She didn't even get the dates correct and send a claim form (which turned out to be for damaged not stolen). Being born and bred in NYC, I was happy to find a mover from there. We got screwed. DEEPLY DEEPLY disappointed.

Even if the boxes were full of plates only, we know that they are not valued at $75 max!!! Like come on! They lost valuable shoes (all my dress shoes for work), my expensive sneakers from APL (one pair is $165-250) and they lost all my boots. And then start to tell me that people are claiming for diamonds in their luggage. First of all who would trust a moving company with diamonds. Also the fact that they came with a trailer and I was the last delivery. They were late by a week with zero communication and start comparing how a chef cooks and doesn't share ingredients. I'm not sure what restaurants they go to but the ingredients are always shared so that one persons is not getting poisoned by ingesting food they may or may not be allergic to. Also a carpenter tells you what materials they are using. This analogy was such a fail. Not sure who was advising this company. They want to pay me a total of $225 after losing and damaging my stuff well over $5000. They never communicated what kind of vehicle was being used for the delivery and then have the audacity to blame me saying that they don't have to say and I never communicated if my apartment would have access. I don't know if I am meant to be a mind reader to know what they are using to tell them if there will be access or not. Worst company ever!!!!! I can never ever recommend!!!
