Her hours are super flexible, and they will work with you and your schedule. I first went to Dr. Nice 16 months ago with complaints of neck pain that was so bad, I couldn't turn or move my neck. She approached my pain by methodically going through my medical history and life style, as well as what was currently going on in my personal life. I felt relief after our first session. Additional adjustments, massage, and exercises allowed me to move my neck without pain, but I seemed to have reached a plateau in my recovery. I am Walking in a balanced way and that is nothing short of a miracle. On my first visit to Dr. nice I had to park directly in front of her chiropractic office because I couldn't walk more than a few steps. In the very first visit she took so much time to hear me out And then started her magic. I've been to many chiropractors at 77 years old and she is by far the most skilled chiropractor I have ever been to. She was able to get my right hip back into place and then worked my body from my neck to my feet. She would have me get up and walk every once in a while and then make any adjustments after that that she felt necessary. I've been to her About four times so far and I'm walking in a balanced way without pain. She opened up all of my energy centers and now has me walking several blocks at a time. The most amazing thing to me on top of being able to walk is that by opening up my energy centers It's stopped my hands from twitching and cramping up. Made a last minute urgent first time appointment today with Dr. Nice. I've been in a lot of pain lately and was somewhat skeptical with someone I didn't know. I've been seeing chiropractor's since I was 11, so I know pretty much what to expect. Her examination was extremely thorough before even doing the adjustment. I was amazed by her technique and her great feel for what was out of alignment with my body. It was pretty bad and I was in a lot of pain. I was in town visiting for a couple days and felt like I needed an adjustment. I was getting headaches and could feel my shoulders and neck were tight and out of alignment from a week and a half of travel. The first place I called did a "new patient workup" that took 2 hours and included x-rays, which seemed excessive for what I needed. So my next call was to Dr. Nice. I left a message and she called me back personally a few minutes later. I booked an appointment for later that morning. It was a great experience. Dr. Nice is so friendly and is great at what she does. She took my history and then did the adjustments. I left feeling MUCH better than I did coming in. And she and her husband Andy (who manages the front desk) gave me a lot of great recommendations about things to see and do while I was there. I felt like family by the time I left that first appointment! She recommended I come back 2 days later before I left Laguna Beach to travel into the next stop on my trip. And she also recommended a massage by one of her therapists before my next appointment. I signed up for both, and was glad I did! The massage was fantastic and worked through some additional tight spots in my shoulders, and I think that Dr. Nice was able to adjust me at an even deeper level right after I'd been massaged. I decided to seek a local doctor who was available on a Saturday morning. Sounds easy right? Haha. Try it for yourself and you will understand what I am referring to. This review is long overdue! I went to Dr. Nice in hopes of having a successful VBAC and did!! She is WEBSTER certified. I had heard so much about chiropractic and labor and delivery. I had never been to a chiropractor before so was a bit scared at the first few appointments. She was so gentle, but got the job done and just knew exactly when my body was relaxed in order to adjust me. I never felt any pain (which is what I was afraid of) just relief.
