Best icecream ever! As I am vegan, I convinced my two friends to eat ice at Nicecream... As we were only visiting Copenhagen for three days, I did not prepare too many places to eat, but Nicecream was on my bucket list We had the ice-brownie-sandwich, to times Chocoholic and one of us took Minty. Even the non-vegan friends stated, that this was the best (or at least one of the best) icecream they ever had. Next time I visit Copenhagen, I will definitely have another ice at Nicecream.

Goodness me! I had not expected to love this tiny hole in the wall place and their simple (so far) lollipop style, organic vegan icecream THAT much! Simplicity with attention to details and flavours go a long long way. We had raspberry/liquorice and strawberry/toffee on the first visit and it was love at first creamy flavoursome bite. We had to return next day and then we had chocolate/peanutbutter (my favourite with crunchy peanut bits) and triple chocolate cookie sandwich. Stunning, creamy not overly sweet icecream full of flavours. You certainly don't have to be vegan to realise this place is a winner!

Horchata and Bounty. Mmmmm so good!

Coming from New York my go to vegan ice cream shop is Van Leuwann and I have to say I cheated on them with something maybe even a tad better. I liked how the consistency was velvety and light at nice cream. They have really fun flavors and at the moment a horchata special which was my fave. The girl working there was very nice and provided the perfect vegan treat for exploring the city. I wish we had this in ny!

Had to wait 10 minutes for the person working to come out from the back. Strange. The ice cream was good texture wise but all flavors tasted overwhelmingly of coconut. Overpriced as well.

Came across Nicecream while scouring yelp for vegan dessert and I was not disappointed in the least. I got the cookie sandwich with coffee ice cream and it was hands down some of the best ice cream (vegan or otherwise) that I've ever had. The only reason I didn't give 5 starts was that the cookies themselves were rather overcooked instead of chewy, as advertised. I'd highly recommend making the trip, just would suggest sticking with a classic cup or cone.

Had this place on my long list of go-to's and finally made it today fueled by my never-ending hunt for an acai bowl in the city. To my disappointment, they were not serving acai bowls when I arrived, although their menu seems to say otherwise. After a brief pout I landed on their strawberry toffee nice-pop. Although a vegan treat, the creaminess of the pop is wonderful and the sweet bits of toffee inside were a delight. The pop itself was an elevated strawberry and cream masterpiece that left me satisfied. They have many other flavors on hand including some vegan ice cream sandwiches that I hope to give a try next time. Great place and cool concept although I am still craving my acai bowl.

I was pleasantly surprised to be totally wrong. The Burrata Bowl was not only beautifully arranged but a cohesive dish of complementary fixings. The hero flavors--the burrata itself and a vegan green garlic sauce--were delicious. The supporting cast of roasted carrots and almonds added textures and subtle notes to make it a knockout dish. It'd be to tough resist getting this bowl again, but other menu options sounded intriguing too. Copenhagen is lucky to have so many locations. I wish I could take one home.

The food took 15-20 minutes to come out but was worth the wait. The daal was complexly flavoured, with a richness you don't usually get in the dish, served with roasted elements and cherry tomatoes -- quite unusual but it worked. The risotto was made with bulgur instead of rice, and we were both a fan of that. Quite a deep flavour profile, and the mushrooms really imparted nice depth. Good value for money, especially for Copenhagen, and very tasty. Comfortable cafe as well. Recommended.

My…read morefriend is vegan and I am always excited to try vegan restaurants, plus she had this cafe bookmarked for a while. The layout of the cafe is very cozy and dimly lit, a perfect place for vegans to socialize over lattes and food. We decided on their brunch platter and croissant sandwich, so we could share everything. I got a matcha latte and she got a regular one. The cashier was very kind, and she gave us her recommendations on what to try. She even spoke to me in English (although she didn't have to!). I also decided on trying out a pain au chocolat. Wow, just simply wow. Their pastries are still buttery and fluffy while remaining amazingly vegan, and their ingredients are high quality. The "cheeses" did not taste like plastic, no, but tasted similar to authentic cheese. The croissant sandwich was full of flavors and everything on the brunch platter was delicious. I especially loved how they decorated and seasoned the avocado (and it was ripe!) The matcha latte was a lovely wake up, especially after I had a horrible matcha latte the day prior. After about an hour or so, we were both eyeing their options of "cheesecakes" and decided on sharing a slice of their pecan option. After we took our first bite, my friend and I just looked at each other. The pecans and sauce complimented each other so well, and the vegan consistency wasn't too mushy! The breading was not too crumbly and each bite was Heaven. All in all, I am SO EXCITED to come back to this delicious cafe, as it was my favorite restaurant we tried during our stay in Copenhagen.

Thankfully, Kaf is in the same neighborhood. It is a vegan bakery! There are a few gluten-free pastries, namely the cakes. The place was small inside and it was packed. Dog friendly . . . Five stars for that! There is an outside seating area as well. We ordered some items and all were so amazing! On their Instagram page they are always posting about their vegan fastelvnsbolle and so we got some. It is basically a cream puff the size of a child's fist. Oh my, one of my faves from Denmark. The vanilla whipped cream inside was so light and not to sweet. The dough did not get soggy. On the contrary, the bottom of the pastry was crunchy and sweet. Almost like the bottom of an almond croissant. I also recommend their vegan, raw cakes. Deep rich chocolate is involved, yay!

We were there for lunch, and the reservation says you get the table for two hours. We were there for 2 hours, but it seemed unnecessarily long. I opted for the juice pairing here and it was delightful. First time trying it and there were so many unique flavors. Overall, I feel it doesn't quite enhance the food as well as wine, but it's still worth a try. We went with the 5 course menu, which turned out to be avant-garde. One interesting aspect is that the table has all the utensils in a hidden drawer. Pre-appetizer Fried shallots in sourdough batter with sourdough sauce. This was a nice treat that was lightly fried. The sourdough bread here is definitely the best I've had. It's super fresh from the oven, skin was slightly burnt and crispy and the inside dough was so fluffy. Danish cucumber and coriander mackarel - very light. Nice intro. Not much mackarel taste. Fermented gooseberry and elderflower - this juice pairing was slightly sour from the fermentation. Zuchinni basil, zuchinni sauce - Delightful dish. Very flavorful. Zuchinni was all warm and easy to cut. Very fleshy almost like meat. Fruit juice was basically a palette cleanser prepping my mouth for the same experience over and over. Blueberry and pine honey - reminds me of being in nature. Strong smell of pine. Sweet blueberry aftertaste. This was an amazing juice by itself. Dill with cuts of lamb - interesting dish that came with a contrasting dish made of white radish, sheep yogurt and dill vinegar. Almond milk cheese apricot basalmic sauce. Cracker from waste of almond milk pulp. Cracker was not too crunchy. Almond milk cheese was fantastic. Thick and a little rougher, but very almonds. They used some cheese culture to make it so it's not vegan. Birch tea and earl grey tea - strong earl taste. Heavy on the tongue. Chervil and dandelion juice pairing. Parfait - currant, meringue, rose. Creamy and sweet from the currant. Juice pairing was a good neutralizer for the sweetness.
