I had my toddler with me, and they immediately noticed and offered her crayons and a coloring book to keep her entertained while we waited. It's the little things like that make such a big difference as a parent. I don't usually handle the car maintenance myself--my husband typically takes care of it--but I had to bring it in this time. As a woman who's not well-versed in mechanics, I've often felt uneasy in the past with other places that pressure you into upsells. That was not the case here. Ace was completely transparent, never pushy, and explained everything clearly without any upselling or unnecessary "extras." I really appreciated the honesty. When my daughter started having a mild tantrum, they were incredibly patient, letting me take care of her without rushing or making me feel awkward. I called and they were able to fit me in, despite being busy and short-handed for the day. It took a little while because the car had to be towed but they still managed to fit me in. They were obviously busy when I arrived, with cars on every hoist, but they got me in after a short wait and diagnosed the problem - a broken suspension spring. Ughhh! The parts were ordered and it was just a matter of time now. Might as well check the brakes while the car was on the hoist. Darn, I needed brakes (pads and rotors)! I knew that but have been ignoring the screeching for a couple weeks. Ooops! Thankfully, with my sincere gratitude, all the work was completed, albeit after their regular closing time. I live in Toronto, but due to limited space in my big city digs, I store my snow tires in my parents garage in Peterborough. When I called the Honda dealership in late November to make an appointment to get my tires changed, I figured it would be a breeze... Since this is not a review of Trent Valley Honda, I will spare you the details, but suffice it to say, they screwed up... big... and I left with the job undone and very little time before I needed to leave to make it back to the city for work on time. Enter Class A. Every other place in town seemed to be frazzled and overrun by people doing just the same as I was and hurrying to get snow tires on at (what we thought was going to be) the last minute. But not Class A. They listened to my situation, put me on a brief hold to check scheduling, and came back to report that, under the circumstances, they had found time to fit me in. When I arrived, they took my car in right on schedule and were done in no time. Staff was amazing, the waiting area was stocked with magazines and had a television screen showing CP24, and I made it to my destination with time to spare. Thanks guys!
