    Only $0.15 to play!

How fun to feel like a kid again! There's only 1 pinball machine, but there's plenty of other arcade games to keep you busy when there's someone else w playing it. There's a $3 entry fee, but it's waived if you pay for a reloadable card starting at $10. I got lost playing the nickel drop machine where you stick a nickel in and strategically drop it to push a stack of Nicole's off the platform. Your prize is tickets and not the nickels. You definitely have to swipe your card after each win since there's sneaky little kids that may try to swipe their card as they walk by. My boyfriend brought rubber gloves to wear and I didn't quite understand why until I touched a joystick playing ninja turtles. It's pretty gross and they should have more sanitizers around. The arcade games are a bit dated and not all of them em properly. The guy at the front desk is the only one here so it's hard for him to fix anything during business hours. Overall still very fun, but not something I can do on a regular basis. Great for kid's birthdays, cheap first dates, or place to burn 2 hours of fun for $20.

The Nickelcade is a nod to the past, nostalgia captured in time-the games, the prices, the atmosphere, the equipment. It's all just as it was years and years ago. Could it use some updating? Sure! (Especially the bathrooms.) But if you want a place that reminds you of a simpler time, this could be it. You pay an admission of $3 per person, then you can either bring your own nickels, or purchase baggies of them to play the arcade games. Many of the games were out of order, and the ones that were working were, well, dated. Some of the games spit out paper tickets, which you then feed to a ticket counting machine and redeem for prizes. I noticed a couple party rooms and a group of youngsters enjoying themselves. It appeared that they brought their own food, which not many places allow anymore-so that's a plus.

We had a fun time at the Nicklcade. It felt like the games where priced higher then the should be. I was happy they had a pinball machine. Those are the best. For us $10 per person lasted maybe 2 hours. Note to management please reduce the volume of the Fright Fear Land clown game. It was so loud it overpowered all the games around it ruining the experience.

Came here with my son, we drove from near Nickel Mania to here because I was told this place was better. Lie. Granted it looks like it's set up well, there is colorful roof tiles. Wow. Tiny party rooms that I wouldn't dare rent and themes all around: "Out of Order" as far as the eye can see. I love locally owned businesses, but when you're charging to get in and getting all the nickels back, maybe of those nickels and buy some paint or new veneer. Running a carpet cleaner would be another suggestion. Sorry for being harsh, but you need an honest review here. Good luck in the future!

This is a horrible place where no one gives a shit. They all stand around eating and drinking food and we were waiting for help to turn in tickets for 20 minutes. Two people were helping other people and two other people were just standing around eating donuts! Horrible customer service!! Will never come back to this arcade!

Awful. 3$ just to get in and so many games are broken. The game will take your money though. Avoid this place.

You get charged $2.50 a person to walk in. Then half the machines don't work. Not a good selection. Place is gross. Don't go. It's nasty.

Traveling through Salt Lake City, for some reason, I wanted to eat at a pool hall. Luckily, West…read moreValley Billiards popped up in my searches and was close to the airport where I was staying. Not being familiar with th elocal custom, I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. I was told by the bartender/cook that I had to sit in the back to order beer. The place was split down the middle by a wall and a swinging door next to the bar. In front of the wall = cokes and sprite; behind the wall beer and hard liquor! Maybe those teenagers won't notice that we are drinking back there. Anyway, I got up, moved a few spots down the bar - past the swinging door and ordered a beer. They had the standards on tap with a local brew thrown in for good measure. This is the main reason I wanted to hit a bar for dinner - to try the local beers, so I was in luck! The menu had a staggering array of sandwich/hamburger options, so I wasn't quite ready to order when the waitress/bartender brought my beer and wanted to take my order. This was a mistake because she was the only waitress/bartender (there was a man who was a bartender/cook) for the entire place. Since there were at least 50 or more people in the place, she was a very busy woman. About 10 minutes later, she was able to take my order. Since the bartender/cook mainly focused on cooking, I got my food quickly and freshly prepared. I enden up choosing the philly cheese steak with fries. The sandwich was excellent, close to ones I had in Philly. If you're not from this small portion of the US or have never been, most everyone eats their fries with fry sauce, not ketchup. Fry sauce is pink and is ketchup and mayo mixed together. Its an amazing condiment and I don't understand why it has not spread into other parts of the counrty. Hopefully, West Valley can hire some more waitstaff or my visit was during a time when someone missed their shift. Other than the slower than usual service, it turned out to be a nice place to eat. As for pool, they have 7 or 8 foot coin operated tables, maybe 10 or so (some on the beer side, some on the coke side). I don't remember it being smoky, but i don't think people were somking maybe its not allowed. They had a poker tournament on the beer side while I was there. Decor and furnishings are very spartan, the place is in a shopping strip and it looks like it from the inside. Beers were reasonably priced ($4 or so) and sandwiches with fries ran about $6.
