Everything was clearly explained, itemized, and incredibly easy to understand. A week after booking, more family members decided to come, so I needed to make some changes. Their events team handled everything seamlessly without missing a beat. Their customer service is truly five-star. When we arrived, there was a large welcome sign with our family name on it, which made everyone feel special. Our bowling lanes were ready to go, decorated, and waiting for us. The food arrived fresh, hot, and delicious, and everyone loved it. Most importantly, my kids, grandkids, my wife, and the rest of the family had an amazing time. Comparing ski resorts is ridiculous because nearly all of them are incredible, but Park City stands…read moreout for how complete the experience feels. The mountain is enormous, the skiing is excellent, and you are staying in an actual town rather than an isolated resort village. I have rented houses in Park City several times, and it has always worked exceptionally well as a home base for skiing Park City, Deer Valley, and Alta during the same trip. Beyond the skiing, Park City has a lively mountain town atmosphere that reminds me a little of Breckenridge or Steamboat. Historic Main Street is vibrant without feeling stuffy, with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and places to hang out after a long day outside. The direct connection between the mountain and town is especially cool, and the Town Lift makes the whole place feel unusually integrated rather than separated into a ski area and an unrelated downtown. Up on the mountain, the sheer size gives mixed groups an incredible amount of flexibility. Park City and the former Canyons terrain now form more than 7,000 acres, with long groomers, steep bowls, and plenty of areas where people can spread out without losing the ability to regroup. I do not remember every individual trail from my visits, but I remember the mountain feeling broad, varied, and substantial enough that you could ski for days without repeating the same routine. Another major advantage is the accessibility from Salt Lake City. You can fly into a major airport, reach Park City without an exhausting transfer, and use it as a central point for several of Utah's best ski areas. That convenience matters even more when you are coordinating a group, renting a house, planning dinners, and trying to balance skiing with everything else that makes a trip fun. During one visit, we ate at Robert Redford's restaurant, and I have family members who have attended Sundance several times. That cultural connection gives Park City an identity beyond the mountain, with a crowd that feels energetic, social, and interesting without taking itself too seriously. There is plenty for nonskiers to do, and the town still has life after the lifts stop spinning. Ultimately, Park City is one of those places that makes a ski trip easy to organize and difficult to leave. The snow, scale, town, and proximity to other Utah mountains create a combination that few destinations can match. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon, ideally with enough time to explore far more of the mountain than I managed on my earlier trips.

Of the 4 mountains I hit in the Hakuba Valley, the longest trail at best went on for 7-10 minutes depending if you're cruising or bombing from the top to bottom. Park City Mountain side of this resort from the highest blue trail down to the bottom, I feel, could clock a good 15 minutes bombing it, or 20+ just cruising down. Is it harder on my legs to do longer trails? Most likely. Do I spend less time on lifts? I didn't care to calculate the difference lol. I thing I know is that I love the feeling of gliding endlessly over the soft snow, and Park City Mountain gives me that feeling without having to stop for a lift every 3 or 4 minutes. I did not experience the problems of some of the courses not working, like how I read in some of…read morethe reviews? They might have fixed it by the time I went? (for reference I went July 19, 2025) The only big issue I had was that sometimes when the ball was overshot and landed outside the course, it would go under the fences and were hard to reach but we got lucky both times and were able to retrieve our balls. I felt like they could have constructed the surrounding fences better especially considering how small some of those courses are. You're bound to have your ball go over board some time! Also addressing the heat and water issue from some reviews: I think any activity you do here in SLC in the summer outside is going to be blazing hot so wearing sunscreen and carrying around my water bottle everywhere I go helps! I do get the overpriced issue though as that makes it seem like you'd be catered a little more. But overall we had such a blast and had some silly moments. It was all decorated so cute and didn't feel too long or too short. There was 18 holes in total with some of them having interactive twists which we really liked. I liked how the staff had us start at a hole in the middle of the course in order to prevent waiting for other people to go in front of you. We didn't have to wait at all until the last hole! And I feel like I've had that issue before at mini golf courses before of waiting a lot for the people in front of you, so I felt like this was more efficient. Mini golf is one of me and my boyfriend's favorite activities to do together, so we were super excited when we saw this pop up event.

I recently went here for a birthday party and it was so cute! There were employees that "hosted"…read moreeach birthday party. The party was in a shared party room and at first we were the only one. So it felt like a really intimate private event and we were able to play our music like we wanted to, and then toward the end of our party we had to share the space a little bit. But with the party package the hostess secured we received unlimited drinks from the fountain machine, pizza, and salad. They provided all of the dishes and cleaned up. The birthday child also received a giant card available to be signed by the guests. I don't know if this was just something that our hostess secured or if it's normally an option but she was also able to get passes with a $5 (or so) arcade card for $20 a person. The pass gave us access to unlimited activities and we could reload our arcade card if we wished. Of the activities that I recall are: Laser tag (So fun for adults and kids!), bumper cars, bumper boats, mini golf, bowling, rock climbing, and racing cars (I can't remember the actual name of it). We were not there for long enough to get to do anything more than once because we wanted to experience so much, then I bet if we went back and we went in at open we would be able to enjoy a lot. There's also a food area should you want to buy food or lunch while you are there. I don't know the rules on exiting and re-entering.

We did try hosting a birthday party here once, and unfortunately the party room experience wasn't very well organized. I remember coming here when it was still Cascade Mini Golf (still calling it Cascade in my head). It had charm, character, and those signature water features that made it feel a little magical. Now most of those water features are completely dry. The few that still have water look dirty and unmaintained. Algae, grime--it clearly hasn't been cleaned in a long time. I noticed that the owner has responded to similar reviews over the past year or two, saying that the ponds are periodically drained, cleaned, and treated. But based on what I saw--and the photos I took--I find that hard to believe. This level of disrepair isn't something that happened last week. It looks like it's been ignored for quite a while. That's the frustrating part is that this place still has so much potential. The course layout is fun, people are still showing up, and with even a modest amount of upkeep, it could be great again. But it needs care--and right now, it just doesn't feel like it's getting any. I really hope the owners invest in bringing it back to life. Until then, it's hard to justify more than two stars.
