This service allows us to get away on weekends and weekdays, go for extended vacations and last minute longer nights!!! We have used them for a few years and will NEVER go back to using a kennel! These are very conscientious individuals who all follow the same menu of checklists and live our babies, in spite of their each 'uniqueness.' (Read oddities!) They keep in contact, write useful progress notes, and include pictures. They truly care, and if something is not right they will let me know right away. My pets--two elderly dogs, a few parakeets, and a tank of fish--are in very good hands. Scheduling and communication is done through an app on my phone and is extremely easy and convenient.

When I moved to Chalfont from the Midwest, I had to start all over to find people I trusted. Thank you Yelpers for helping me make the decision to go with Peace Valley Pet Care! After I initially emailed them, I received a timely response from the owner, Walt, who setup a complimentary consultation with me. He arrived on time at my apartment, met my pugs, discussed his business and my future needs, then left me with paperwork to complete before the first dog-sitting visit. He was nice and professional. His company is also insured, so that was a bonus during my decision-making process. Walt has over a dozen employees who do dog walking/sitting, and I was assigned Kerryann who has been wonderful! I loved that I had a dedicated dog walker instead of getting a different person each time. Make sure you schedule services in as far advance as possible because they do book up. If you're a last minute person, or just knowing that sometimes things come up last minute, it may be a good idea to have a backup dog walker. That's what I did, and it worked well when unexpected trips or activities came up. Kerryann came to my apartment for a complimentary consultation as well! She watched my pugs many times when I took weekend and week-long trips back and forth to OK/TX for 6 months. She always sent me a daily text to let me know how the pugs have eaten along with their bathroom schedule (like who pooped and peed when, good detail for tracking). Sometimes she would send pictures! They are very flexible, so if you need plants watered, mail checked, daily dog pics (I didn't need them daily), that's all included with their visit fee. Their prices are comparable to local competitors ($20 for two dogs per visit), and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff. I highly recommend if you need a trustworthy dog-sitter in the area!

Based upon the booking screening, it was clear that the company is professional, well-run, and focused. They provide transportation for your pet to and from their boarding stay and even provide daily pictures of your pet via text. We were very happy with the arrangements until, in the middle of our vacation, we were told that our dog had an episode of weakness and was rushed to our vet whose information we provided at booking. Andrew stayed with our pet and transported him to the overnight Emergency vet for observation. Everything turned out fine and Andrew picked up our pet to finish his stay. Andrew went out of his way and not only did everything for our pet that we could have done, but he also kept us informed and comforted. The integrity, compassion, and dedication that PetsAreInn demonstrated during our time of deep concern helped us greatly and made us happy we chose a stay with a family in their home versus in a traditional pet kennel. I recently adopted a 9-month old dog and wanted to jump into training right away. I retained…read moresomeone who lived very close to me and had great reviews, but after a few sessions I realized our schedules were not compatible; I was not getting consistency and reliability from her. It's important for me to make progress with my dog, so I Googled alternate options and stumbled upon Alex's page. I called him on a Friday and he picked up the phone right away. We spoke for a while about my needs and he came out the following Tuesday for what was supposed to be a 2-hour visit. I fell in love with him immediately, he is not only so personable and likable on his own, but he really takes the time to LISTEN to what you need and work on those things right away. I had mentioned my priorities to my previous trainer, but I found that she was teaching my dog commands that didn't actually accomplish what I was after. In our first meeting, Alex worked on SO MANY of my priorities. He got my dog to go into her crate on command, taught her to "stay," showed me how to "walk with" my dog better on her leash, and (using a 30' leash outdoors) started working on recall with her. We were so immersed in what was going on that Alex started to go a little bit over our time, but he didn't want to stop because we were making such great progress. I told him if he wanted to give me a third hour right then and there that I was prepared to pay for it, and he did!! I learned a lot of things from Alex myself during our first meeting, like how to employ the use of "deltas" (which my old trainer never once mentioned) and how non-verbal cues are arguably more important than verbal ones. Again, my old trainer actually discouraged me from using hand motions, but once incorporating them into my routine I noticed that my dog was much more compliant than she had been. Another positive difference between my old trainer and Alex is he really takes the time to teach you why he's doing what he's doing, and encourages you to participate. My old trainer just taught my dog a command and had me replicate/practice when she left. Alex really makes you feel like you are a part of the teaching process. After our private session Alex recommended some "Small Group Therapy" for my pup. He came at noon on a Thursday to pick up my dog and she proceeded to go on a several-hour outing with his two chihuahuas and a dog he was fostering. The entire time he was out with her he was recording and sharing videos on an iCloud album. It was INCREDIBLE to not only see everything that was happening, but to hear him narrate why he was doing the things he was doing. I could not get enough of his videos and felt like I was there during the session. On top of Alex's excellent communication, punctuality, reliability, friendliness, competency, and effectiveness, his rates are OUTRAGEOUS in the BEST way! I truly believe he is under-charging for his services. I can get three hours with Alex for less than I paid for one hour with my prior trainer, and I feel much better about the work that is done during that timeframe. I adore Alex, and most importantly, what he is doing works. He really gets into the mind of your dog, and has such a wonderful way of connecting with them and their needs. I am elated to keep our work going - my pup has lots more Small Group Therapy outings in her future and it's wonderful that I have the option to use him one-on-one to teach her even more commands in the house. One day I hope to move on from essential commands to more fun ones, like "roll over" or "go get X toy."

To speak to the extent Jenny goes and her genuine love and willingness to take care of her "clients", our older pup is about 7 and has always been incredibly anxious particularly during thunderstorms. While we were in Florida this past week, a huge storm came through and not only did Jenny make sure to monitor its progress to ensure our pup got his anxiety medicine in time for relief but when the power went out, she went out of her way and far past the time she was paid for to bring over battery powered lights and set them up around our home to get the animals through the power outage most comfortably. She sat with both our dogs for a while giving them lots of love before heading home to her own family sending pictures and updates the entire time. I can not say with more certainty that my experience was incredible and our family LOVES Faithful Friends Pet Care and will continue to utilize their services in the future

They all were anti-social and needed a load of attention that we assumed that their previous owners just were mean to them. The three we got here, only one relaxed and found out we weren't like their 1st owners but the other two were not violent but they were not good family dogs but those are the chances you take in rescuing an animal. It was not the SPCA's fault they were that way but many would blame the shelter and that is not right. But what in the world is right today??

A man walks in to get medication for his cat... also prior to 9AM... and he was welcomed so nicely and was told his animal was their favorite and making it very clear that I was not welcome at this animal hospital. Not only did I have to wake up early, I had to wake up my sick 1 year old, take him to daycare early, walk the dog early so she could get her poop sample.... and still arrived 5 minutes early ... BUT THAT WASN'T THE RIGHT THING TO DO. I moved from Penn Ridge animal hospital bc I thought IVAH being closer would be better (also more expensive) but I am so glad I did not give them a DOLLAR and Penn Ridge welcomed me back with a same day appointment. Your staff is inappropriate, rude, and completely forgot that I AM THE CUSTOMER and how they treated me was uncalled for. DO BETTER! I do not stand for people belittling others and that is what your front desk staff did. UNBELIEVABLE. CLEARLY seems like the common issue is the staff.. I doubt the doctors even know what is happening. As I look through the other reviews... and the pictures online.. yes, Cari was who was ignorant to us and made us leave... He is flexible and provides a prompt response for requests for his services. Our dog was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. Rather than put her through the trauma of another trip to a veterinary hospital we chose Last Act of Love. Dr. Shields arrived on time and conducted the entire process in the peace of our home, with our dog rested in her Mommy's arms. Dr. Shields never rushed the process and his compassion for the entire was process was fabulous. We would recommend him, without any reservation, for this service to any pet owner who wants to have their pet in the peace and comfort of its home.
