Absolutely loved our visit to this U-pick strawberry farm! The strawberries were beautiful, fresh, and incredibly sweet! We filled our baskets quickly because there were so many great berries to pick. The farm was clean, family-friendly, and made for such a fun outing with the kids. Everyone is so welcoming, and you can tell how much care goes into everything they do. Their honey and jam is a must buy! Such great local products. Strawberries are great but service is not so great.... I called over a week ago to make reservations for u-pick strawberries and on the phone I was told that it is $5 entrance fee and can pay $15 for a bucket to take strawberries home. I asked if we can eat strawberries with the $5 entrance fee and she said yes and if we wanted to get the bucket after they might even deduct the entrance fee. She was very polite and nice. Today when I went in to pick, the girl helping me said we could not eat strawberries with the $5 entrance fee and only those who buy bucket can eat strawberries, and the $5 entrance fee is for those who go in just to supervise..... She showed me a little paper saying every employee gets the same instructions for pricing which only lists $5 for entrance and $15 for bucket. I asked her if there are more details written anywhere since it doesn't specify about eating, and the information being shared to me is so different but she said no, she was becoming angry and kept insisting if there is any misunderstanding that it is in my part for not understanding correctly.... I told her I wished I had gotten the name of the girl I spoke with before and asked what her name was, and she refused to give me her name she said she doesn't have to share her name..... owner cant know who is giving right or wrong information without a name... I just wanted to post this for the owner to see so they know there is different information being shared by the employees and it would be nice if there was more official information somewhere. Strawberries are great! And if it wasn't for today's service experience I would give them a great review! I'm giving low stars for owners attention and clarification. read more

Love going home to pick up some fresh strawberries and eggs! They literally have the best strawberries, so big and juicy, that are grown right on their property. Service is so friendly and accommodating. If you like a strawberry on another basket you can swap. You won't need to though because they are all delicious. The stand has been there for as long as I can remember and still looks great! You just drive up and pick up! Cute rustic farm stand! They also sell other products, like jam and eggs. I love this place! Nicholson Strawberries has been in Rancho Cucamonga forever and they are a part of Rancho Cucamonga history! They have the best Strawberries ever, which you will not find in a grocery store. They are always nice when you visit. It's horrible that the City of Rancho Cucamonga will not support and renew the strawberry farms lease. Come and visit this place while they are still here. I hope this farm never goes away. Took my strawberry-loving granddaughter to pick her own fruit. We all enjoyed picking out the largest berries that we ended up getting a whole box which we shared with the neighbors. There are plenty of friendly staff to assist you. This was me and my kid's first time picking any fruit! My daughter didn't want to leave lol Friendly staff, easy parking and next to Walmart shopping plaza! No need to climb so it's great for little ones. Low budget activity so it's a win win situation for the kids and adults! You can do a uPick option or if you are in a hurry then you can grab their boxes and go. I even made chocolate covered strawberries when I got home! Such a hit and tasted so much better than store bought ones, yum! After tasting these, it's going to be so hard going back to the expensive bruised/moldy groceries ones that taste like water! The Strawberry stand is right next to Wallmart Neighborhood market. Not in the same shopping center, across the street, to the side. Strawberry's always smell go good, look so big and juicy. Of course, they are delicious!! Go on and pick you a few packs up and stop by the grocery store and grab you some: *brown sugar (light) *Sour cream Don't knock it till you try it!!! For those of you that have not heard of the best local strawberry patch, then listen to up we have been going here for years and it's amazing. They are a family owned farm that picks berries every day. These are by far the sweetest most delicious strawberries I've ever had. If you've only had store bought strawberries then you need to try the real thing. They should be open in January or so. The early berries are huge and delicious but late season ones are also great. Hopefully the place will be around in the future. I've heard they plan to put apartments on the lot. Please complain to the city if this looks possible. This is an institution worth keeping.
