Delicious produce with flavor! I like to support local small business better than big box stores.

This was my greatest find of the year! I have been going to the Downtown Riverside Farmers Market, but last Saturday was a crazy downpour, so I googled local farmers markets hoping to find one on Sunday. Well, lo and behold, Corona Farms popped up on my search, and after seeing the photos showing their shopping area was fully shielded from the elements, I headed right over, as they are opened EVERY day according to their info on their website. I was pleasantly greeted by one of the family members who works their farm, and thrilled to see everything they have to offer. I mean, the romaine lettuce alone was worth the trip! I purchased a number of items, and left with two Trader Joe's bags full of the freshest produce I've ever had for a mere $21! That would have easily been $40-50 in any grocery store, and not near the quality and freshness of what I purchased directly from the grower. She told me that they harvest daily, and that this produce would last me up to two weeks, and she wasn't wrong! A week later I still have a good amount I haven't used yet, and everything is as crisp and fresh as the day I bought it. I highly recommend Corona Farms. They just became my new weekly goto!! This place is amazing. It is a little out of my way, but for the freshness of produce, the variety, and the pricing, it is well worth the extra effort it takes to go there. They have a large selection of beautiful fruits and vegetables that are fresh picked daily and inexpensive. The workers are so friendly and helpful. There is easy access parking and the whole are is clean and tidy. It just makes me feel good to shop there. read more

Always a favorite place to shop for uber local produce! The produce fields surround the "store". Strawberries are back in season!!! They are incredibly huge and so sweet. I purchased orange beets, along with purple beets, a huge head of broccoli, and the loveliest baby carrots. Staff is so friendly and will share cooking ideas, if needed. Love this place! If you're looking for good local produce you cannot beat this! For fruits such as peaches and strawberries to most of your vegetable needs this local farm stand is one you need to check out!! The quality is there prices can sometimes be negotiated when you're purchasing large quantities or if you're a regular. The thing I love most as I can always have a conversation and ask questions about how to best utilize something I've never thought about cooking with. It's always better to get your veggies from a local farm because you know exactly where it's coming from, who's growing, picking, and cutting it. It's a small family owned farm with very friendly faces. The produce is organic and they don't spray their corps with insecticides. They have vibrant and beautiful vegetables and fruits at fair prices. They have the best strawberries I've ever had in my life, and I haven't been a fan of strawberries lately. It's best to come before noon or they'll probably be sold out. They also have amazing arugula, good parsley and broccoli, and the carrots are sweet. The kale looks amazing, and my favorite is the turnips - so crisp and refreshing. I also can't wait to try the yellow watermelon when it's in season! Such delicious veggies at affordable prices! We get about two heavy bags of produce for around $15, and my mom can't stop herself from getting their strawberries every few days. Downside is it's cash only, but this is real farm to table. And agricultural chemicals are poison whether we notice its effects on our bodies now or years down the line, so it's best to support and eat from your local farms rather than corporations. read more

I first encountered their goods at a farmers market. I was walking around and I could actually smell the fresh produce. I followed the smell to their booth. A friendly attendant told me about their stand on Madison and the rest is history . It has been a few years now ,but the produce is still good and fresh. I particularly enjoy their green onions, green tomatoes , strawberries, and bok choy . In the fall they have pumpkins for sale. read more

I love this family farm business. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the FRESH selection of vegetables and fruits are very good! I shop here 2-3 times a month. The prices are great and I'm able to fill my large bag for about $20. I can buy many more vegetables at a better price than at the farmer's markets AND definitely from the local markets. I consider Corona Farms to be a real gem!!! read more

We have lived here for many years and I just found out about this farm. Never thought to search out farms since I've always gone to the stores. This is way better than the markets and the farmers markets in town. They're overpriced and their veggies don't last. Love the vegetables. They're so fresh and hearty. I can keep them in my fridge for over a week and they still look as good as they day I bought them. So unfortunately I don't go veggie shopping there more unless I run out of tomatoes or green onions. The veggies are so huge that it last forever Love the people here too, they're so nice and always very welcoming. Stay warm today. read more

Their strawberries are top quality when the Beefsteak tomatoes are in season, more than one I've witness cars linded up waiting for them to open and the days harvest is sold out within an hour. Went today for the first time---the "shop" is small--but you can look right out on the fields and see what they are growing--I gots tons of produce, including strawberries and lemons. Also got the most beautiful brussel sprouts that will get roasted tomorrow I got 2 heavy heavy bags of produce and spent $14.50! Fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables, picked daily. I love this place! The people are very pleasant. They open at 9am and close at 5pm except on sundays when they close at 4pm. We took a drive out for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe it took me this long to find this great farm. The wonderful farm has all the freshest veggies in season.
