My Yelp friend (Hi Hannah, thank you!) alerted us to Starberry Farms: a cute little family-owned road side market in San Dimas, CA. Starberry sells fresh, high-quality strawberries! In addition to their strawberries, they sell other local produce, pantry items, candy, and treats like jams and local honey. They also carry eggs from Billy's Farm in Chino, Ca. We buy eggs from Billy's farm time to time, so it was nice to see them at this cute little market. We love all the produce and strawberries purchased! Also, we got some local brand Guacamole, Salsa, and Corn Chips. The corn chips from La Tolteca are amazing! Very light tasting and crunchy. The guacamole was fresh, a mix of chunky and smooth texture; good stuff, it's from Guacamole King in San Dimas, Ca. All local family owned places ! We love it here. It has a small town feel and customer service is friendly. Parking is available in their private lot and they take credit or cash. read more

First time visitors after reading the many positive Yelp reviews. This is a very nice roadside type of store. It is not big but it is just right for what they offer. The store is well maintained, stocked with fresh fruit and organized. I love that items sold here help local farmers. My wife purchased numerous items and everything has been much fresher than what we would spend at a supermarket. The young lady who assisted us was very helpful, friendly and extremely outgoing. Really lovely family-owned market featuring locally grown produce and local homemade treats, honeys, crafts and other items. We tried some of the beautiful strawberries and intriguing "dinosaur plums" and they were some of the most delicious fruits we've ever eaten! The sign that said Dinosaur Plums definitely got my attention but when the lovely staff told me how delightful they were I definitely had to try them! They're a vibrant red inside, super juicy with a perfect balance between the sweet and the tart - definitely one of the best plum varieties I've ever had. And the strawberries tasted amazing - how all strawberries should taste! The staff (maybe owner?) was incredibly friendly and welcoming and I really enjoyed our chat. Prices are great and there's a lot of local variety here. They even had some super cute Halloween decorations! Looking forward to trying more unique fruit varieties on my next visit! read more

Service: 5/5~Owner was very chatty and personable. I took my time browsing all sections of products they offered here and walked out with a basket of fresh strawberries and a drink coaster. Odd combo, i know. The quote on the drink coaster caught my attention.... Ambiance: 5/5~The owner turned on Country Music station for customers to enjoy while shopping which made the shopping experience quite relaxing. I was passing by Starberry Farm. I stopped there to have some fresh fruits.The place is tiny but clean. They had a decent amount of fruits and vegetables. For example they have strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, lemons, green beans, Avocados, pears, tomatoes and onions. They have also jams, nuts, honey, pretzels and candies, eggs & chips and salsa too. You can also buy some drinks and eggs from the fridge. The young man was very nice and friendly. He wrapped the fruits separately in a light brown wrap with a rubberband around. I bought strawberries, blackberries and pears. The fruits were so sweet and very fresh. I bought also mango jam and it was delicious. It's a must try place if you are looking for good quality of fruits. I wish they could have more varieties, but even though I will stop there for this few items. It is important to support local small businesses read more

My husband and I absolutely love this place! When we found this place when we first moved to San Dimas, we knew this would be our go-to place for strawberries. In addition to their strawberries they always carry products from local small businesses, which I find very neat. COME HERE TO GET YOUR FRESH PICKED STRAWBERRIES. Don't walk, RUN!!!! They're huge, they're fully ripened and delectable and sweet. We got 6 pints for $25 for Mother's Day to make chocolate covered strawberries and it was a HIT! We also got pound cake for $3.50, mild guacamole which we are coming back for AGAIN it was so good and made local in San Dimas. I'm all for shopping local when possible. Support your local farmers!!! Found this place by chance while looking for a good spot to pick up some strawberries. I was able to pick up 2 boxes of strawberries and some lavender honey. The store itself is pretty small. I'd imagine that they would run out before the end of the day unless they keep more in the back. The employee at the store kindly offered to wrap up some of the cartons individually when I mentioned that I'd be giving some of these to friends. The strawberries were very large. I would say they're a pretty good deal. While the batch I tried weren't the sweetest I've had, I think overall the quality was good and definitely better than anything I'd be able to get at a super market. I can see myself coming back if I needed a large quantity of strawberries, but if I lived closer, I'd probably get my strawberries here regularly. read more

I just love it when a place is not afraid to say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" instead of "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" to me after buying a tree from their lot. After all, I've heard of Christmas trees, but never a holiday tree. To each his own I guess, but being a Merry Christmas guy, it was music to my ears. This is the second year in a row we've bought a tree from Starberry Farms. To be quite honest, I would have never decided to go here, had it not been for the $35 tree advertisement I saw on Facebook last year. The tree we bought was beautiful, lasted forever, and was well worth what we spent last year so coming here this year was a no brainer. I forgot to tip this year, but that's probably because last year the young man helping us put the tree in the car refused to take my tip. But the service is outstanding, so please tip, and don't allow them to refuse it, because I should have remembered. I wish I would have caught the name of the young man that greeted us (very friendly and almost immediately upon setting foot on the lot) because when he asked us if we needed any help, I asked him if they have those $35 or $40 dollar trees like the ones they had last year and they did, and he took us right to them. Those ones are already netted shut, but he said he'd open one up if we wanted him to and then he asked us how fluffy we wanted it. I looked him dead in the eye, hit my belly and told him, "THIS fluffy". He looked at the trees, picked one out, and it was spot on fluffy! We will definitely come back every year for our tree because the service and the trees are always the best! read more

What a beautiful lovely place! We were helped by a sweet woman with blonde short hair. She was so kind and welcoming.
