This is one of those posh restaurants, meaning that it's expensive and you get a small plate of food with a little twirl of some sauce on it. The menu is just 2 pages and to be honest, nothing really appealed to me but it was getting late and we just flew into the city and our hotel is just down the road. This seemed to be the only restaurant around.
The decor is really nice, as you would expect. I just stuck to the main course which was supposed to be suckling pig with potatoes. I expected some pork and some potatoes and perhaps vegetables on the side. Well it was more like a moussaka looking dish and there wasn't much to it. It was also pretty greasy with some big chunks of fat, but perhaps it's supposed to be that way.
My wife had some kinda fish dish and she enjoyed it but again, not a lot to it. They also charge a couple euros for a piece of bread. So we had those 2 dishes, a glass of wine and beer and the bread and it cost 60 euro. I don't mind spending more than is normal for a meal but it should at least taste good. read more
