Staff has always been very friendly but the downfall is every time I go in there it seems like the prices just keep going up n up on ridiculous things they sell at the dollar store so it's always hit n miss with the prices. read more

I have never been treated to disrespectful in my life. The help is rude and and very very slow. I wanted to buy a spray of plant leaves. It didn't have price on it so the clerk went to check price came back and said I broke the item. She said It was to go with a planter, do I want both items I said no and I didnt break anything the spray was just setting on a basket. I also wanted to buy a salt and pepper shaker that was sitting on the counter. I again was Told I couldnt buy that either just in case someone else would like to buy it. I will never darken their door or contribute to them ever again. There are lots of thrift shops in this town I can do my business with. read more

Great prices and wonderful volunteers! This store is an asset for the community as it is for the community! They do so much to help others who need a hand up. I do wish parents would watch their kids better though! I've seen kids break glassware, rip pages in the books and scatter books around, run into me and other shoppings etc. read more

Love this thrift shop especially their book store it's the best organized used or new book store I have been to. However when I went to donate a collection of books, famous museums of the world I mistakenly put them in what I thought was a book deposit and after I had dumped more than half of them I was told that it was a recycle book deposit. Please post a sign so that senors like me don't make this mistake. I was told we could not retrieve them, too bad they are on E-Bay for $100.00. Nicolette read more

The name of the place made me smile, and start thinking up other rhymy names, like "Thrift and Thrips," where you can get a sweater and a thrip infestation simultaneously. It's a small thrift shop, neither surprisingly good nor bad, just an average place where you can find the usual. If I lived nearer I'd drop in at regular intervals just in case. My visit yesterday netted me two charming little items, nothing I seriously needed, but sufficiently rewarding it was worth the journey. read more

I am a fan for sure, today was my first visit and I was so pleased by the selection of items and the organization and helpful staff. Most things are priced appropriately, I feel that some of the nicer clothing items could be a little more moderately priced to move the merchandise. I will definitely be back and hopefully to pick up my antique stool that I bought a raffle ticket for!! I found knitting needles, glass items, home decor and some nice clothing items. Everything in the store is half off on Thursday the 7th so if you haven't been go on Thursday because they do have some great things that are just a tad over thrift prices and Thursday will be bargain day for sure. read more

Love, love, love this shop! This is my go to store for all craft items. Sometimes the prices are a little too high on some of their items but never on the craft items or material. People are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this store. read more

I was not aware when I went in that this store didn't have any kids stuff, except for a very small section of childrens books. They have a rocking chair sitting right by then as well. My mother was looking for supplies for her art projects so I figured I'd let my 2 year old son pick out a few books. The first time I walked him over a woman walked out of a little office and stared at us. She was making me feel uncomfortable so I went to check on my mom. About 5 minutes later when I saw that woman was gone I brought him back over to try to pick out a book and the same woman came over and stared at us again. By this point my mom was in the book section browsing to so we just went to walk with her. My son was walking with me and he was being exceptionally well behaved and very patient. Especially for his age. As we were following my mom he pointed at two books and literally just barely touched them with the tip of his finger and the woman (who was still following us around and staring at us) told him in a very rude voice "don't touch those books." To which my mother replied "his mom is watching him." She said "I don't want him pulling all the books out and messing everything up." I replied and told her "I'm standing right here, I'm watching him and I wouldn't just let him do that." She rolled her eyes and turned around and walked off shaking her head. I'd understand this if he were running around the store by himself but he was walking with me and holding my hand the entire time. He was not doing anything wrong. I like to support our local business but I will not be returning to nifty thrifty. read more

I love our Seniors here they are out of this world! If you need a good example of top of the line customer service these ladies got it goin on like Jesus! I scored on a nice pair of pink and black Nike jogging shoes when my son dropped me off was so excited.....but in my adventures on a beautifully sunny day I crossed the Duckabush River carrying my purse, flute and pink Nikes from Nifty Thrifty when I crossed back over the river I crossed in a deeper spot and noticed I accidentally dropped one Nike and then ooops....the other one....the rocks caught one I meant to go get it the same day but thought Ohhhh....no hurry..... thanks God the rocks caught my Nike, I'll retrieve it as soon as I can, so a couple days later I did get the one nike caught in the rocks but walked down the river a bit and the other seems to be a gonner. I washed the one...I may keep it for a souviner or bronze it or something anywhoo...I thank God for Nifty Thrifty, I've visited since but no luck with any old school Nikes, but I was very greatful for the excellent customer service, I felt at home here and very much loved and well taken care of. It's small but full of Christ like love. Thank you Nifty Thrifty for your Christ like example, I'm sure glad you are in Shelton. read more
