Got the Thai milk tea. Wasn't wowed nor entirely disappointed. Not as creamy as I would have liked(given he used plain milk) but I enjoyed how its isn't overly sweet. Poor customer service, no greeting, no stating how much my drink cost before pointing to area of payment, no goodbye. Also take note they don't give out receipts, they are text it to you if you provide your number. I was served by an older grandpa looking guy. I did appreciate how he wore a mask. But the place was too crowded stuffy for my liking. Seems like a shop build inside an apt building with poor circulation. Nonetheless, it was a confident location. i think its a one man shop, the owner is super efficient and polite, prices are labelled & the whole place is really straightforward. passionfruit green tea is the best and the place is a little different from normal boba shops but i really enjoyed it and there are little plushies you can purchase. 10/10 read more

Interesting bubble tea shop with really fun, interesting owners who were older and were very excited to have me in there and also curious as to why I wanted to take the picture. I like the bubble tea and I'm going to give it five stars because I liked the service and the prices are good and Binghamton does not have a good selection. I don't think it's as good as the fancy one downtown and it's definitely not as good as the Kung Fu tea in Vestal but I think it just about warrants 5 considering regional standards and it's a really cozy little place to hang out as well. read more

If you know me you know that I bleed tea. I love all tea from traditional English tea to Boba. Since moving to Binghamton, I have made it my mission to find all the best places to get tea. This place is great. The gentleman who served my tea was very kind as patient as I analyzed the menu. Rose is my absolute favorite but it's been a little hard to find out here. Then I saw what looked like a specials menu and the last item was Sakura Rose! I ordered a large with tapioca pearls. They are very generous with the tapioca and the tea was deliciously sweet. I absolutely love this place. I personally think they have the best bubble tea in town. Their flavor selection for bubble teas is huge, and there are flavors added every now and then. I recommend the lychee tea with pop fizz beads. Also the blueberry milk tea with peach fizz bubbles is really good. The sweetness level can be altered based on preference. 50% was perfect for me but the almond flavor wasn't very distinct. my friend, Brenda's banana milk tea was delightful! It feels like a mash between a Chinese living room and a tea shop. Their kitchen area is huge but the hangout/customer area is much smaller. They have a couch and some high tables for guests to dine-in. They also have crystals and an aquarium. I tried banana milk tea that was made with 50% sweetness. I liked that you could adjust the amount of sweetness or ice that you wanted. The banana flavor was from a powder. I discovered this place after trying to go to Novel-Tea & discovering that they were closed (despite their hours posting they were open). They randomly have their diplomas/education certificates displayed in the living room/dining space. I thought that was cute. Their punchcard is awesome because you only need 6 purchases to get a free drink (most places require 10). The prices are fair and their winking boba logo is kawaii. read more

I started going here for bubble tea in the last 3 months. I liked the convenience as it is right opposite my kids' school. However, I have noticed that the old man who runs the store has gotten increasingly grumpy and crusty - no smile, no welcoming demeanor, he is dull and brash. To top it off, he started refusing to allow me get extra tapioca pearls - which is for a charge by the way and not free! The last time he did it, he added a dose of complaint that everyone wants extra tapioca pearls, and he can't keep cooking it all the time as it takes time. Ok! That was it for me. Done. Not going back there. I'd rather drive further to Kung Fu Tea or Wetea in Vestal. I'm not asking a lot, just let me get what I want and don't give me attitude. read more

This is an updated review. I had to share. The service is still wonderful. The tea is lovely, with lots of tapioca and no artificial taste- But now you should know it's within walking distance of three Poke Stops and a Poké Gym. If that's your thing. There's a lovely plaza area across the street you can sit with your tea and people watch, if that's your thing. That's always been there, but, ya know. Nihao is by far my favorite place to get bubble tea!! The owner and his family are very kind and the tea is delicious!

My go-to bubble tea spot in Binghamton! I've tried maybe 7-8 different flavors so far and I haven't been disappointed yet! Their tea is always fresh and yummy and you also get a loyalty card with which you can get a free drink after like 6 or so visits. The only downside is that they don't let you substitute tapioca with any other topping, you just have to pay for the extra topping whether you get tapioca or not :( Once I went when they were just out of tapioca and I ended up paying extra so I wouldn't have just plain tea without a topping. Sigh. The other bubble tea places in the area let you substitute tapioca. Other than that, the father and kids (it's a family owned store it seems) are super friendly and welcoming! After reading the not so nice reviews about K & K's Old Teahouse and their lack of consistency, I decided to stop by here instead, not knowing what to expect or their menu choices. The place is small from the outside with a parking lot on the side of the establishment that it shares with other businesses. Upon entering, the place was clean and I was greeted with a friendly smile and a hello after which I placed my order. One small peach milk tea and one small taro milk tea with tapioca balls was ordered. Both of the drinks were made combining the specified powder with milk and water after which he scooped out some tapioca balls out of a large covered pot. The peach milk tea was full of Leah flavor, but a little bit too sweet for my taste as I waited until some of the ice melted so that it would dilute some of the sweetness. The taro milk tea was delicious and perfect the way it was made. All is all I would definitely come back again and try more flavors as well as order the taro again. read more

I love Nihao and definitely plan to visit often. I was excited to find that they serve pop bubbles in addition to jelly, because I don't usually like boba in my bubble tea. Surprisingly though, I have to agree with Bingwei L.... This was the best boba I have tasted!
