My 2.5 year old goes to Nihao and has been since she turned 2. In the 5 months she's been there, she's learned so much! She's more confident in expressing herself now and more social. The teachers, ChiChi laoshi and ms.Delsy and Jenny laoshi are so nurturing and patient. Classes are small so it's 2 teachers to 5-6 kids per class so each kid gets a lot of attention. They do 80% in mandarin and 20% English so my little one is immersed in language learning at school and at home. They are also very communicative and sends us messages and pictures throughout the day through their app. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for high quality child care at a very reasonable price.

We couldn't be happier with Nihao! I am so glad to found this as a first school for my daughter because of the thoughtful programs they offer here. The teachers are so caring, patient, and creative -- they truly make learning fun. Our child has grown so much in confidence and curiosity since joining. The environment feels safe, nurturing, and full of joy. I especially love the updates and photos the teachers send throughout the day. We're so grateful to be part of this wonderful community!

Highly recommend Nihao to the families looking for multilingual immerse (they do Mandarin Chinese with English and Spanish classes), fun, love, and safe preschool that doesn't break the bank. The teachers are very caring and communicative. They talks to parents in person and through app. Post at least 5 activity photos daily and sometimes videos too, which helps us chat about school activities with our son in the evening. The teachers also put a lot of efforts to celebrate and decorate holidays with the kids. We also love the parents here, everyone is super friendly and engaged. Kids get special treats all the time. Sometimes we even have special class sessions designed and leaded by the parents. The class is designed with different theme monthly with different focus subject weekly. My son has attended Nihao for 3 months now and we saw his growth tremendously. He loves the school so much that he doesn't want to leave and continue talking about his friends and teachers on the way home.

When learning a new language, it should be fun and exciting. I looked into Language Door and found our forever home. First, the owner Natascha is fantastic. She's multi lingual and very hands on. She loves what she does and it shows with all the students. She knows what teachers would be best for certain students. Second, I love love love Susan and Lupe who work as administrators. Susan is Hungarian and speaks so many languages, I can't keep track. She's kind, a world of knowledge and gives the best hugs. Lupe is smart, multi lingual and wonderful! Every student who walks in is greeted in the language they're learning. There are adults and kids learning Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, etc. The teachers are worldly, my kids love their classes and can't wait to go to school even on Saturday's. While I'm waiting for my kids I get to speak with all the parents who are lovely. Walking in I feel transported to an international setting where people are open minded, multi cultural and inclusive. I wouldn't hesitate making the call! Thanks Language Door for embracing the love of language!

What really makes this place stand out (and believe me I did my research) is that if you want to take a foreign language class with them you can sit in on a few classes before you decide to sign up for the new start date. The owner, Natascha is also extremely attentive and you can tell she loves what she does and goes the extra mile for her students and teachers. I am quite impressed with the level of service provided and it was more than worth it for the price! I plan to sign up for German & Arabic courses shortly after my Advanced Spanish course commences.

I asked every question I could think of, from how they handle sickness to how teachers are supported, and I observed everything from class ratios to daily routines. We visited several schools, but ultimately chose Frontiers, and I'm so glad we did. The difference was clear: attrition among instructors was low, and my son's teacher had been there for many years. To me, happy teachers = happy kids. From the start, the staff were warm, communicative, and professional. I've been consistently impressed by their attention to detail, safety standards, and how thoughtfully they care for each child. Beyond the nurturing environment, the academics are truly top-notch. It's a trilingual school so teaches in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. The curriculum is rigorous; I love that my son is being challenged intellectually while also building confidence, creativity, and curiosity. What gave me peace of mind is knowing my child is not only in a stable environment but also one where learning is engaging, meaningful, and sets a high bar. Communication has been excellent--I always feel in the loop. I've seen firsthand that the children are thriving, not only in Spanish or Mandarin but in all aspects of their development. If you're a parent who values stability, honesty, safety, and outstanding academics in a school culture where teachers are genuinely happy--Frontiers stands out. It checked every box on my list.

Their 1 week summer camp involves introducing kids to Spanish words, with no real teaching of fundamentals such as sounds of each alphabet letter. It's purely "rote memorizing" of words and the kids are asked to answer questions the next day regarding the new words they learned. I mean - honestly, how does anyone learn like that? This summer camp was a waste of money, and a total bore for all ages. The teacher at summer camp was Cecilia - unprofessional, and makes students feel uncomfortable because she stares at them for no reason. Would not recommend this language class to any students between the age of 5-10 years old, as you are better off enrolling your kids in some other summer camp that is fun, educational, and engaging -- all of which this place is not. I'd also like to add that there appears to be some age-discrimination from Cecilia, as she called my child "OLD" in class. Not sure why that was warranted, but the camp is for 5-12 year olds, and there were definitely other 10 year olds in the class, so that seems very off-putting. The teacher also kept telling my child to quiet down when everyone else in the classroom was rowdy, loud, and also talking. I'm not sure why she would want to "target" my child, but it's ridiculous, and unprofessional. Definitely would not recommend her or this program. Upon looking at the other reviews in this listing, it appears that this place has also received multiple 1-star reviews. I'm not surprised.

This was so bittersweet, as we all wished that she could stay longer (as long as possible) in Marco Polo! We didn't want to leave! We were a part of such a tight-knit, warm, supportive, and welcoming community - the teachers, fellow parents, all the students - that I truly believe that the bond forged and positive effects gleaned (both academic and non-academic) will last well into the future. We felt that the Reggio Emilia approach worked so well in helping kids of different character traits and temperaments grow according to their own pace and strengths. We loved all the teachers that have taught our daughter, as well as others we saw every single day in their various supporting roles (admin, front desk, meal times, science, subs, etc). It took a village, and boy was that village awesome. We could feel that the teachers (and everyone else) working there truly were there because they loved kids, and they loved helping kids thrive. The Preschool and Pre-K programs were particularly notable and instrumental in their roles in helping our daughter get more than ready for her kindergarten year (and beyond). Under the relatively new leadership of Ms. Kimberly, I saw notable improvements in terms of the variety of interesting new subjects, activities, and a stronger sense of direction, leadership, and community. We can't possibly thank Marco Polo enough for helping shape our daughter, for encouraging and loving her, and for supporting us throughout. Ms Amy, Ms Venus, Mr Erick, Ms Paris, Ms Fatemeh, Ms Destinee, Ms Kimberly, Ms Jing, Ms Caitlin, Mr Ruben, Ms Lisa, Ms Janet, and everyone else - you truly made Marco Polo such a wonderful journey for us. Mrs. Martha has been such a gift for us. My daughter is usually very shy and takes a while to warm up to new people, but she completely adores Mrs. Martha. When she's having a hard moment or feeling unsure, she automatically goes to her for comfort, which says a lot about the trust and bond they've built. You can just tell she has a special way with kids. The center also keeps me updated on how my daughter is doing what she ate, how she napped, if anything unusual happened. Those little updates mean a lot and give me peace of mind while I'm away. As any mother we wanna know our children are being cared for and these amazing women definitely do that. I also have to mention Ms. Jazmin, the director. On the very first day, I started tearing up when I dropped my daughter off. Ma. Jazmin comforted me and shared that she went through the same emotions when she left her own child at daycare for the first time. Just that reassurance and understanding made me feel better. Another thing worth mentioning is that their rates are much more affordable compared to most places in the area, especially considering how popular the location is being right near The CAMP. It's getting the best of both world's quality care at a price that doesn't feel overwhelming. We honestly feel lucky to have found Giant Step. It's been such a positive experience, and I'm grateful every day knowing my daughter is in such good hands. Overall, everyone I've met here is warm, approachable, and clearly cares about the kids. They even do little events for families throughout the year, which makes the place feel more like a community.
