She spent much time with me asking me what I was looking for (I am looking for a family dog I can train and do schutzhund with as opposed to a police k9 dog, or a family dog, ) and answering all of my questions. I very much got the sense from her that she will stay involved with us to help us adjust to life with a puppy (we have a cat and she offered to assist us in how to teach the puppy boundaries with the cat). Both dogs are beautiful, incredibly healthy, and have been amazing additions to our family. And I really can't say enough good things about Famn Damily. I've been there twice now. With my family. In both cases we drove 240 miles to get there, just because we realized what a special place it is, and because we knew we didn't want to get our puppies from any place else. You set foot on the farm, and you see dogs that are truly living their best lives. They have so much space to run and play, they are so well cared for, and so loved, and so clearly happy!! And healthy. And the facilities that have been constructed for the dogs, that clearly took a great deal of time, money and effort to build, are very impressive. Melodie Hammond runs the farm.
