I began with a different lawyer who was reputed to be kind of a pit bull but very good and expensive. Unfortunately she (my first lawyer, NOT Emily) was also terrible to me, unorganized, unethical in her billing, wouldn't respond to my ex's settlement offer, and was slapdash in her approach to my case, not telling me I needed to respond to discovery until I only had a week left to do so.
