I believe Debra Opri wants me to upload documents to prove I was a client and prove her breach of con fidentiality. Then maybe she'll quit posting her fall back response as "that person was never a client." I'm not out to harass I just want people to make the right choice and learn from my experience and not endure the loss and distress Debra Opri caused with zero conscience as everyone can tell, since she is far from apologetic which means she's going to continue on the same path. I forgot to mention that when she initially closed me w a great sales pitch, She only asked for $5k as a retainer. Another clear red flag with the benefit of hindsight, because she was the first attorney I was ever hiring and I knew it was going to be 3-6 times that for the first 6-months. I thought $5,000 was absurd and in an effort to start off on the right foot I sent her $15,000 instead of $5,000. I also forgot to mention that the next attorney, I hired, when I told him that I had given her $15,000 and told him what work she had completed and that I expected most of it back he said "yeah you're not gonna even get half of that back" but we were both dumbfounded that she essentially kept the whole thing. For extremely poor work. In the end, I would not have paid even $1,000 for her work which again was full of outright lies. If you hire her, you will see. I got a bill, and it was startling close to the exact amount of money she had received despite giving her three times her estimated amount of money she needed, and her never going to court. Absolute fraud. I still haven't been to court yet, because I had to hire a new attorney and start all over again. You might want to weigh how little history there is on so many of the accounts with positive reviews. Seems questionable. I will say that this process has made me lament ever pissing off my spouse. Debra Opri hands down is the BEST family law attorney. My divorce took over 10 years to complete because of a rather "difficult" ex-wife. I should write this review about Debra Opri and her incredible Team long time ago, but I couldn't because I was recovering from what I discovered about my ex husband's criminal past and many secrets. In 2019 I was served with divorce papers, was left in a huge credit cards debt by my ex and had not even one penny in my pocket to take care of our daughter.
