I had a wedding dress that was size 14 and she took it down to about a size 9 (a huge decrease) and it required quite a few changes to the structure of the dress to fit me properly. She did an INCREDIBLE JOB! OMG. She is busy as heck... but I never felt rushed when I came in for fittings. Her prices are very reasonable. And she's a very sweet person too. She is incredible. I have used another tailor in town in the past and they were not nearly as good (not even close). When I shared that experience with someone they recommended Tetyana and I'm so glad they did. They did not have the right length zipper so sewed shut about 6 inches of the opening. The original zipper was hidden from view by a flap but the new zipper is not, it is right on the surface. She did not completely sew in the zipper, leaving a hole at the end that I had to hand sew into place. We brought in a folded, freshly washed duvet but I picked up a jumble of fabric stuffed into a corner of the shop. Nice people and low price if you don't mind them screwing up the job.

Small mending jobs, hemming, and slight alterations are your bread and butter for the year. I acknowledge that weddings are your priority at this time, but my job would have been quick and could have been added to a days' work. When I spoke with other vendors they acknowledged that was not a good business model, turning away business. While you may think not accepting work and commenting that I was not a bride is a good service conversation, as I read other reviews, many feel you are rude when communicating with them. I commented on your times that you are open because Google said you are open three days a week, your website says 5 days, and other sites say 4. It is not clear to a customer who has to travel downtown for the work.

The train is very long and wide, so she was very creative on adding 3 loops and buttons to make a custom bustle for dancing after the ceremony. She ensured that the 3 additions are reinfored underneath the skirt and shouldn't tear. She also did an excellent job of modifying the bodice of my mother of the bride dress. The first time I went- although they were in the pick up area, nothing had been done. Tried them on again, the lady pinned them. Today I went back again, when i tried them on the area had not been taken in enough. Maybe it is the simple pinning with safety pins? Anyway after a second trip, they were still not correct. It is quite a trip to get there and now I have to go a third time. There was no acknowledgment or even a hint of an apology. When I picked them up & got home only to try them on and there was an inch difference in length and not brought in. Returned to the store they apologized & said they'd fix them. They refused to fix them and would not refund my $. Absolutly horrible service & terrible quality, just crooks. If I could give a negative star I would.
