A unique and upscale date night like no other, highly recommend reserving a tuna cutting experience. We loved the courses, drinks and left feeling like we couldn't eat another bite of food.

Elegant and Minimalist Sushi spot in San Antonio. Right behind the restaurant there is a parking garage, very convenient when you are in downtown. This review is going to be bitter-sweet, because I got horrible service at the bar but excellent service at the restaurant. The bar tender that helped us was very anal about certain things, never smiled and did not know how to speak to customers. But at the restaurant, the girls were amazing, they really make this place better. They are a little strict about the happy hour menu and where you can be seated. So if you are ordering from the Happy Hour Menu you cannot sit at the restaurant, you must to sit at the bar or by the sushi chef. Little weird rule. The food is outstanding and the cocktail excellently crafted. Perfect for a date, business dinner or a girl night out.

Second time eating at this sushi restaurant and really enjoyed it! It was a Friday evening, around 7:30 PM so walked it and it was about a 20 minute wait for 3 people. Not too bad! Service is always great here. Hosts and servers are very welcoming and kind. Tried the lemon special roll, which was so so good and yummy! Pretty small restaurant space with a few tables outdoors, but it was way too hot to sit outside. The menu is pretty extensive, with so many different rolls to choose from. Edamame is excellent too. WOuld come back soon!!

Downtown residence for 15 years and in hospitality for over 30 years. The food was incredible and the service at a different level! Cin went to the website and saw a vegetarian option when we were driving to the restaurant. We put in our order with Kayla (if I was not retired, I would of STOLEN HER AWAY FROM NINETEEN!) WOW. When Cin placed her order, we could tell something was wrong, but ROCK STAR Kayla said she never heard of that on the menu, but she would check with the chef. She came back to tell us that dish had been discontinued a while back, but she would talk with the GM and chef for a resolution. She came back with the GM to tell us they would honor Cins request, as they had everything to make the dish. The ship sails as the captain sails it. The GM was very nice, we chatted about downtown living for 5 minutes. Common man, what!!!! Then to boot, the entire meal a 10. Just a tad noisy, but that's a building issue. Little hard to hear each other.

First time going here and once you go in it's very open and welcoming. Staff is super friendly and attentive. It is very clean and nice lighting. Seated pretty quickly and given water immediately. Waiter came within 5 minutes he did very well checking in us and recommending things in the menu. They will make common sushi rolls if you aren't able to find anything you like or prefer. I definitely would go here again but definitely in the pricey side but worth it!

This is a very cool restaurant. There is an upstairs that opens to the extremely high ceilings. The dining room downstairs is quite large with a variety of seating options (tables, booths). The bar on your right when you first enter is gorgeous and they make delicious cocktails. One star off for noise as the very high ceilings make for a loud atmosphere. The sushi, while delicious, is a little bit small portion wise for the price you are paying. Overall I would recommend this restaurant as a good sushi spot in town

Went here for a friend's birthday dinner & it was great! Atmosphere was lovely, very modern. They have a great bar with lots of seating. They also have seating along the Susie bar. The servers were pleasant & friendly. The drinks & food came out timely & everything was delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly & had great seasoning, a little spicy. The sushi was so fresh. Would recommend for a sushi spot!

This restaurant is amazing!! Visited for happy hour, and the food and deals were unbelievable. The service was also fantastic; the bartender answered many of our questions and recommended great options! The inside is very pretty, particularly the high ceilings! It is clean, simple, and elegant. I noticed there is an upstairs area too, perhaps for private parties or events. 100/10 recommend visiting for happy hour!

We went for restaurant week. Where as other spots in town offer full plates for the same cost. This place failed to deliver. And for $55 a person the plates were incredibly small and the flavors subpar. Similar to Sushi from HEB. Started off poor with water that tasted fresh from the tap. Had to ask for bottled water. Service was fine. And the ambience is of a nice restaurant here in San Antonio. But the food doesn't deliver. If you want overpriced "posh" food waste your money here. If you want real sushi for a fraction of the price - go to Koi Kawa. Photos attached.

I've been here twice and the food was good but just a little too boujie for my taste. Flavors were a bit too elevated and of course you are dropping a pretty penny. Service has been good but things tend to take a long time to come out, even when the place isn't crowded. Their house ranch was super unique and niche. Cool to try but I won't get it again. There was something we wanted to try that they were also out of.

We came as guests to our friend's 40th birthday party and oh my goodness, what a fancy and great place to celebrate. There was a fairly large group of us so we were upstairs. So we could take in the ambiance. Our server took great care of us drinking our cocktails and multiple courses of food. Our drinks were tasty and refreshing. The food was flavorful and delicious. This is definitely a place that is great for a fancy night out on a date, with friends, or a solo escape.

I was craving sushi. Stopped by this restaurant on a Saturday evening. I did make reservations and I am glad I did because it was pretty full. They have valet parking , but there's a parking garage behind the restaurant that you can park at as well. I started off with the lychee Mojito. I felt like it was too sweet for me. For Appetizers, we had shishito peppers and brussels sprouts. The brussels sprouts were definitely the favorite. They had great flavor and the serving size was pretty big. For our main dishes, we shared the upscale roll, Lemon kani roll and the chef choice nigiri and a chutoro hand roll. By far, the upscale roll was our favorite. The flavors just exploded in your mouth. We had the fried banana cheesecake that came with ice cream and drizzle of strawberry. It was the perfect ending to a great meal. We were definitely happy when we left. Everyone we encounter was friendly. Our waiter was attentive

Very cool space. Cavernous yet elegant. And a little noisy. Nice happy hour specials but most of the dishes were on the sour side of the spectrum. Not quite balanced. The Hyaku Heater was a nice roll but honestly not very spicy. Overall we enjoyed our meal. Cudos for having Asahi NA.

They had happy hour all day. Happy hour included wine, sake and appetizers. I thought it was such a great deal. We all loved our creamy miso soup. I would go back just for that. When it came to a table, we all looked at it and were iffy about it, but as soon as we tasted it, we all agreed that it is the best we have had. I will admit I don't remember all of names of the dishes, but the ones I remembered we got were the Hotline crispy gyoza, Pepper fin Miso vongole pasta and Kaisendon. We shared a key lime pie. The Keylime pie slices are little small, but after all our food, we were all full . We did all agree that the Keylime pie was missing the tartness we expect from Key lime. We were celebrating my birthday and they gave me a free glass of champagne. I wasn't expecting that, but it was a nice touch. They do have a record player with records available for you to choose from that they can play for you. The restaurant is located below Silos next to Orangetheory. If you don't know where it is at, it will take you a while to find it. It doesn't have a good sign. Parking is available, but shared with the other businesses. We had no issue finding parking

The listening bar concept paired with their state-of-the-art custom sound system makes the atmosphere feel immersive from the second you walk in. The music, lighting, and outstanding service all work together perfectly when you're trying to unwind and decompress after a long week. The lychee martini was smooth, refreshing, and extremely lychee forward. I really enjoyed how they garnished the drink with two whole lychees. I was in heaven and I can honestly say this was one of my favorite cocktails I've had in the city (Thanks for the recommendation Annabelle). Food-wise, everything felt elevated and pieced together beautifully on each plate. The truffle creamy miso soup was warm & comforting with just the right amount of depth and the Asian pear cucumber salad was perfect to cleanse the palate after the soup. The Hawaiian ono was another standout that absolutely delivered. That cilantro oil and the yuzu dance together well with the soft & silky ono. I also really enjoyed the scallop crudo, it also has cilantro oil but this time with ponzu foam. This combination was so good that I absolutely had no shame sipping the married liquid components on the plate between each bite of scallop. Lastly, the wagyu mochi gnocchi is unreal--rich, melt in your mouth mochi gnocchi, savory shrimp and tender wagyu, and this velvety sauce that's semi addicting. This surf-and-turf style dish with seafood and wagyu is where Yozora really flexes; every bite felt balanced, indulgent, and beautifully plated. (This particular evening the sauce on the mochi gnocchi was a touch spicier for me than the first time I visited but I enjoyed every last bite nonetheless). I went a little ham and didn't have room for dessert this time unfortunately. Next time Huge shoutout to my server Annabelle, who made the entire night seamless. My water never even got close to empty, her recommendations were spot on, and she somehow balanced taking care of the bar while still making her tables feel attended to. The rest of the staff even tag teamed service throughout the dining room which I always enjoy seeing. It says a lot about how well the staff and overall concept works together there. Symphony for the soul. Thank you again Annabelle and team for making the whole evening easy to enjoy and adding so much to the experience. Yozora absolutely lives up to the hype. Add it to your list of spots to keep coming back for.

I was immediately annoyed because the music was very loud to me. That could have been due to the empty restaurant, the actual volume or my perception of the volume lol. I was really hoping for a more intimate vibe for conversation. The speakeasy lounge actually looked more like the vibe that I desired but I settled in and placed my order. I wanted some of the showier selections seen on IG, so I ordered the tuna tower and flaming Romeo & Juliet roll and a cute (albeit sweet) cocktail that came in a goldfish shaped glass. When the tuna tower arrived the young server asked me something several times which I couldn't hear over the music, so I just nodded. After she smashed the tuna tower, I figured out she was asking if I wanted it mixed. Lol my bad! I actually did not want it mixed but it was delicious anyway. The Romeo and Juliet roll took forever to stop flaming but once it died down, it was absolutely delicious. My partner enjoyed his roll as well and they gave him a complimentary birthday desert with sparklers. Overall I give service a 3. I would have liked a more professional presentation of the menu, hyping it up a bit. And a less soft spoken server. The food was a solid 5, everything was fresh and scrumptious. Overall I give Uni'ko 4 stars and I look forward to returning. I thought it was a good value given the extra razzle dazzle and food quality.
