This place is located by the Cathedral strip near Woodbine. It's a small cute little coffee shop. The fourth one here in this area. The prices are on the high end, it's quite expensive, service is fast though and they always greet you plus also say goodbye. Ordered a coffee, haven't tried their perfume drinks yet because it's, like I said, pricey. One day I might on a random day. I think they have to do a point system of some sort. I do like their decors though. I would come here again but maybe not often as I would like to.

Really enjoyed The Perfume Lemon Mojito (caffeine-free). I love anything mint, so this was perfect for me. The Jasmine Lemon Tea was also very floral and refreshing! The space is really cute, cozy and nicely decorated. We were greeted right away when we walked in :) There are some pretty cool lemon drinks infused with coffee. We even saw a Banana Latte; I wonder how that would taste! Overall, a nice addition to the quiet neighbourhood in Cathedral Town.

Visited this local coffee shop during an evening stroll in the neighborhood. Got a little thirsty and thought to give this cafe a try. There is a variety of lemon tea and coffee as well as macaron and cakes. I tried their hand made lemon oolong tea - very refreshing with no bitter lemon taste and the sweetness is just right for me. Their macaron is lactose free and not super sweet with flavours ranging from yuzu, peach, chocolate, earl grey made with a cute cartoon top. They offer 30% off during their soft opening

The shop is a bit tight there are some seats inside and outside. The Staff are friendly. Some what hard to find parking on peek hours. Perfume Lemon Tea - Oolong - it has a good lemon and tea flavour. think the smash the lemon be too much the skin made it a bit bitter They are pet friendly too

Ningplus is a small café in Cathedral Town that specializes in Hand Made Iced Lemon Tea (手打香水檸檬茶). The drink is tasty and unique, but it's quite expensive--around $13 after tax and tip. Nice spot if you're curious and don't mind splurging a little.

Newly opened cafe with a focus on Lemon Tea and Coffee Drinks, they also have some macarons and roll cakes available. I stumbled upon this place while walking my dog after work one day and was instantly intrigued. They had a cute dog stop station outside with a water bowl, and while my dog was there the owner came out to make sure he had enough water. We started chatting and she told me all about the different drink options available (their lemon's are a specific kind that give their tea a really balanced citrus taste, I believe their originally a specific kind from China). She invited my dog and I inside, so yes the place is also pet friendly. I asked for a recommendation and she suggested their Jasmine Lemon Tea, and I saw a beautiful looking Earl Grey Roll Cake that I also had to have. The drink was so refreshing and really delicious - not too sweet and you could taste the citrus taste which blended well with the Jasmine tea! The roll cake was also delicious, this one had a Lotus cookie on top and the earl grey flavour was really present, once again this wasn't too sweet and the cake was really light and fluffy. Overall I am very excited to go back and try some of their other items! The Banana Latte intrigued me so that will be my next purchase!

They sell anything and everything you would need as a novice or professional musician. There are music lessons taking place on the floor above. The high ceilings really elevate the space. There is a grand piano hanging from the highest point of the building! You can hear customers trying out the instruments (in the best way)...they actually know how to play. Oddly it's a calm, relaxing cafe - so much so that people are sitting at the tables, reading books or working away on their laptops. There is no real division between the cafe and the music store, you're pretty much sitting in it right next to the records for sale. It's actually really cool. They have some unique yuzu flavoured coffees. I had a simple flat white and took home a bag of beans which were delish (had hints flavours of chocolate and berry aftertaste which was lovely)!

That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. I understand their pain hahah)

My cousin and I arrived shortly after opening on New Year's Eve. The cafe has a small interior with minimal seating, mostly bench seating along the wall with small round coffee tables. Even though there was only one barista working that morning, she was efficient at taking orders and making drinks despite several orders happening at once. We did not feel like we were waiting very long. I ordered a pour-over with the Finca El Paraiso Peach Colombian beans, which use a thermal shock washed process. That was something I had not heard of before. The tasting notes listed nectarine, tropical fruit, and caramel, and it was recommended since I was looking for something more out of the ordinary. I enjoyed the wilder flavor profile, but it was hard to fully appreciate because the coffee tasted overly diluted. The barista mentioned she used a 15g to 250g bean-to-water ratio, which is higher than how I normally enjoy my pour-overs. My cousin ordered a flat white with whole milk that was very creamy with strong espresso notes. We also ordered a matcha latte for my other cousin, which was apparently too creamy. Overall, the beans themselves were good, but the pour-over leaned watery for my personal preference. The bag of beans used for the pour-over was priced at $32, which is only a bit more than double the cost of the pour-over itself. In hindsight, I felt slightly ripped off and should have just bought the beans instead.

We arrived at the small plaza with a small parking lot today (Saturday) around 10:15 a.m. & luckily enough, it was a quiet start to the day as parking was plentiful though I can imagine it being a bit hectic during busy times. This location (there are 2 others) is in the plaza right next to the Richmond Hill location for AI Sushi. As soon as we entered, we were promptly greeted & seated at a nice corner table. Shortly after that, a nice gentleman came to placed a QR code at our table asking if we've been here before. After we said no, he explained to us how to order using the QR code. We can all scan and order individually then it shows up as one large order for the table. I think he said he can split the bill if needed & we would just need to let him know. The place itself was nice. A bit above casual with around 20 tables inside. Well light and seemed clean. I ordered the Thai red curry pasta with clams, hubby and our friend both ordered the chicken and waffles, and my cousin ordered the mushroom benedict. We all ordered a drink (hubby a flat white with the rest ordering some type of latte). Our food came pretty quickly. My pasta was delicious and had good heat (spicy kick) to it & the red curry sauce was full of deep rich flavors. I enjoyed the clams but they were a bit small so it's taste got overpowered by the sauce. I would have preferred it if they gave me fewer but larger clams. I had a taste of my hubby's fried chicken & it was really good. The batter was well seasoned & crispy but not oily and the chicken thigh was moist. The staff know what they are doing there. We were asked whether we are enjoying our food & they always made sure our water glasses were full. I highly recommend this place & am looking forward to my next visit there!

I bought a couple of buns as a customer since then and I'm hooked! Bun Appetit is located at Commerce Gate. It's located closer to Highway 7. It's around the corner from Kinton Ramen, which I have been to a handful of times during the pandemic to pick up good eats. I found a parking spot steps away from Bun Appetit on a Wednesday evening at around 6:15 pm and backed in to it. It's easier to find parking when it's a weekday, in the afternoon. Bun Appetit's breads are naturally fermented for 168 hours. I liked that all buns and breads are gut-friendly and low on the glycemic index. I'm always interested in lower sugar options. I have sampled these items: - Baguette - Whole wheat walnut vegan bun - Lychee bun - Raisin earl grey bun - Oreo chocolate delight bun - Matcha pistachio pretzel - Whole wheat German pretzel - Yeast loaf with Nutella They were all delicious. They were soft and airy. My favourites were the whole wheat walnut vegan bun and the Oreo chocolate delight bun (also known as the messy hands bun). The former had whole walnuts that were so crunchy and fresh. The bread was chewy and soft. The messy hands bun used dark chocolate. It was also fluffy and soft. It lived up to its name. I had messy fingers just eating a morsel! It has 9 g of sugar, which is practically nothing being fermented. I liked how unique the flavours were. I loved the smell of the lychee bun. I wish it had lychee pieces in it. Instead, it was wine-infused and that flavour overpowered everything. I loved the yeast loaf with Nutella as a dessert option. I nearly picked up a loaf after this event was over! As a parting snack, I got the truffle mushroom one. It was the last one. I love mushrooms. It was super delicious with truffle oil, enoki mushrooms, spinach, garlic, and melted cheeses on top. The bun was soft and perfect. It was such a gourmet bun. I have since returned to get more buns: - Strawberry beetroot - Chocolate arancia The strawberry beetroot bun was fluffy. I decided to cut it in half. To my surprise and joy, it had whole strawberries in it. Wow and yay! I love fruit, but I wasn't expecting so much of it in this bun. I loved it. It was naturally sweet from the strawberries. The beetroot wasn't noticeable in flavour. I feel it added colour to the triangular bun more than anything. The chocolate arancia was equally as unique slicing it in half. This bun had candied orange bits in it. It tasted so good with the chocolate morsels on top and the subtle chocolate flavour in the bun itself. It was delicious. I need to return for more. I have found the buns of my dreams, which sounds odd and funny. It's all true! I paid with a credit card. You can register your phone number to collect points towards goodies. I'll be back. (185)
