Very cute cafe and aesthetic! Was very busy when I went. Coffee was also solid too, not too sweet but need to dark.
Been here a few times now. This place is such a cute and welcoming spot with friendly staff, comfy vibes. It's perfect for a quick break from work, or hide from the city noise for a bit. I always get the iced vanilla matcha latte and love that it is not too sweet. It's smooth, balanced, and sippable. And seriously, look at that green
Nice spot in cathedral town! Ample parking. They have a small selection of baked goods available and their drinks menu has a good variety. I got a flat white and an iced pistachio latte. The pistachio was very subtle and nice. We enjoyed the seating area and they also have a few tables and chairs for outdoor seating as well. Will be back to try their matcha drinks next!!
Cafe atmosphere is warm and cozy, but is quite small so has limited seating. Takes a while to get the drinks as they make it with a lot of detail and accuracy. Taste was good, but a bit pricey. Overall, great experience!
Location/Service This place is a tucked away in the heart of Cathedral Town by Elgin Mills. There's street parking around the plaza, though it gets pretty busy. Inside is a very small cafe with a few seating available. It's nice there are patio seats when weather is good. Staff were pretty nice - I also like how this cafe is pet-friendly, so I've seen a few people bringing in their dogs. Food/Drinks They offer a variety of specialty coffee and pasteries available - the coffees are more asian-fusion based. Check out the Injeolmi Latte that also has a bit of a whipped cream on top, kind of like a tiramisu. The strawberry & matcha latte is pretty standard and you can see they use actual matcha powder with the sifting and everything. For pasteries, there are only limited quantities available - but try their blueberry & lemon scone, ube & coconut cashew cookie. Both were pretty filling and great to share if you want a variety. Overall this spot is nice for a date or a catch-up with a few friends. Doing work here might be a little bit tight - but could work if it's during their quiet hours.
I've been meaning to check out this charming little coffee shop after seeing it all over Instagram. The aesthetic alone had me hooked--especially their beautifully crafted drinks. The cozy vibe of the café itself perfectly matches the visual appeal of their menu. I didn't dive too deep into the menu since I already knew what I was there for: the double matcha. It's a matcha latte topped with matcha cold foam. When they serve it, they leave the lid off and recommend sipping the foam first--and for good reason. The foam is easily the highlight: not overly sweet, but packed with a rich, bold matcha flavor. Absolutely delicious. However, once mixed, the drink loses a lot of that depth. Even though they use high-quality matcha powder (MK!), the flavor gets a bit drowned out by the regular milk. I'm curious if oat milk would help bring it back to life, but at $8.20 before tax for what looked like a 12 oz drink, I wasn't keen on paying extra for a milk swap. You can really see the quality in the vibrant green color--it just doesn't fully translate into the taste once blended. I also think a touch of vanilla syrup could round out the flavor profile nicely. They serve the drink with the lid and straw on the side, but I'd recommend skipping the straw--foam drinks are best enjoyed sipped straight from the cup. As for parking, there's a decent amount of free street parking nearby. While it's mostly parallel, the spots are roomy and manageable, especially if you go earlier in the day. Plus, the surrounding residential streets also allow free daytime parking, which is a nice bonus.
Out of Office Coffee + Bakery is a coffee shop located along a small street in Cathedraltown in Markham lined with small businesses. The cafe isn't big but has space for about ~15-20 customers. They serve caffeinated espresso based drinks along with some specialty beverages (like the golden butter latte, tiramisu latte, plum espresso tonic, etc.), as well as non-caffeinated beverages (like their strawberry latte, black sesame latte, and yuzu sparkling lemonade). There are also some baked pastries for sale as well on display. They currently also use Hatched Coffee beans. I stopped by Out of Office Coffee + Bakery on a Sunday around noon. The place wasn't busy and I opted for a simple flat white. Service was friendly. My coffee was made at a reasonable time and the flat white was decent (good enough for the area!). I sat down to enjoy my coffee (with latte art!). Overall, a decent cafe in the Markham area for coffee. Not comparable to the coffee shops in Toronto but still a decent place to chill and hang out on a solo date or with friends if you're around the area!
Super cute cafe, tucked in a very picturesque street! I go to this area often for sushi (Cafe Mozaiko) but only recently found out about this coffee shop. I got here an hour before their closing but there were still a lot of people flowing in and out until they closed. They have a few table spots to sit and chat with a friend, and its also dog-friendly! I ordered the iced vanilla matcha latte and it had a perfect amount of matcha to milk/sweet ratio for me. I was also eyeing the matcha strawberry latte which I'll be getting next time. For food items they had unique loafs and pastries available, with flavours such as ube.

Not a coffee lover but the pistachio latte and strawberry latte sounded really good as well. They also have a few baked goods to choose from. Would definitely recommend trying this place out
Espresso tonic is my latest favorite and they added plum in it to make the coffee extra refreshing perfect summer drink! It's dog-friendly too, cozy !
OOO Coffee + Bakery is a cute little cafe up in Cathedraltown. The staff recommended me to take a sip first before stirring everything together - the pistachio cream was yummy! The drink was creamy and very strong. OOO also has non-coffee drinks, like Strawberry Latte, Black Sesame Latte and Yuzu Sparking Lemonade on the menu. Can't wait to come back again to try more specialty drinks!
I tried the golden butter latte which the barista recommended the iced option. The latte was super smooth and i really liked the sugar that they caramelize on top. The barista recommended to drink the top first before stirring. It is a smaller space but there is a fair amount of seating there and the day i went, there was only 2 people working.

Wanted to try their cheesecake but it was sold out! I got their oat hojicha sesame cloud drink. The hojicha flavour was good and it wasn't too sweet, I enjoyed the drink. Drink was well made, price is a little steep for the size but is pretty standard. Small cafe but there's a few tables available to sit in. It's nice and cozy inside too although the area seems a bit dead. I'll come back and try the pastries as well as their other drinks next time! read more

As part of my routine cafe hopping, I stumbled upon Out of Office Cafe on Tiktok as a cute, vibey, local cafe. Like most cafes, you order at the front and seating is pretty much self-serve. DRINKS (4/5) We ordered a Flat White and an Iced Matcha Vanilla Latte and it was made very promptly. For their espresso they use Hatch beans and it worked really well for the flat white. The milk was steamed well, with a good ratio of steamed milk and microfoam. There was a bit too much milk for my liking in a flat white relative to the amount of espresso. The coffee was nutty and chocolatey to taste and a bit bright on the nose. The iced matcha vanilla latte is made with high quality matcha (I forgot the brand, but got the approval from my matcha connoisseur girlfriend) and a few pumps of vanilla syrup. They use Monin syrups, and my preference for vanilla syrup is Torani - just something to note! They also offer a handful of pastries and treats! AMBIENCE (4.5/5) The cafe is very quaint seating about 12 people but is well decorated with hip furniture and a back wall lined with greenery. We came by on a Sunday afternoon and most people were socializing so it got a bit loud. The big front window lets in a lot of natural light especially for the size of the cafe. LOCATION (2.5/5) The cafe is north of Major Mackenzie and Woodbine, I think officially in the Cathedraltown area of Markham. There is a decent amount of free street parking onlooking the cathedral in the center of the neighbourhood. You definitely need a car to visit as it seems transit is quite sparse in the area. OVERALL (4/5) Really cute cafe great for catching up with friends and doing work (on weekdays when it's less busy). The decor feels really welcoming and cozy. Drinks are well made with good quality ingredients. There is also a cafe a few steps down the street (Studio de Corner Cafe) which could make for a great cafe hopping date. Will be back to try some of their specialty drinks next time which are super intriguing! read more

Out of Office is such a cute neighborhood cafe! Extra star for being dog friendly! The drinks here are unique and it also serve the classic coffee beverages. My dog enjoyed his experience as much as me. He would have wanted me to take him out for coffee every day! (They are now open 7 days a week) read more
Overall rating: 4.3/5 Cathedral High St in North Markham is such a hidden gem, and OOO Coffee + Bakery is definitely a must-visit. Serving up Detour coffee/espresso beans (one of my faves!), this small & cozy coffee shop is perfect for a small meet up or if you're looking to pick up a drink on a neighbourhood walk. Service is friendly, but note that it can take a bit more time to get your drink order. It's well worth the wait though! The strawberry matcha and golden butter lattes were delicious - well-balanced in terms of matcha/coffee to sweetness ratio. The golden butter latte tasted like a creamy, less sweet butterscotch latte - I could definitely see myself ordering this again during the winter season. The matcha itself wasn't as rich in flavour compared to other matcha lattes I've had, but given that it was mixed with strawberry flavour for the latte, I think it worked. While there is limited seating and it can get crowded on weekends, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you want to try their specialty egg tarts only sold on weekends. Personally, my fave treat was the hazelnut mocha scone! read more
Found this cute & cozy coffee shop in Markham, with a nice warm ambiance and great environment. The service was great, the staff were friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. We got the pistachio latte and tiramisu latte, which were the most popular. Both drinks were rich, creamy and sweetened to perfection. They did a great job when it came it to the latte art. To eat we got the hazelnut mocha scone and ube cashew coconut cookie both very unique flavors; it was different then your usual flavors, but very tasty. Would definitely recommend, perfect place to start of your day and it's pet friendly. read more
Super aesthetically cute cafe. We got the pistachio latte (iced) and the butter latte (hot). We liked really liked the pistachio latte as it had a bit of a crunch to it. The butter latte was also really good and creamy. I wish it was a little hotter but we enjoyed both drinks! The staff was really kind giving us recommendations and bring our drinks to our table. It does get super busy even on a weekday and the cafe is a bit small with only around 12 seats. Definitely a solid spot to check out though and they are also pet friendly! read more
Came in and ordered a Golden Butter Latte and it was not bad! The decor was really nice and definitely a place I'd sit down and enjoy for a few hours! Really like the space! Service was good too as the staff took the time to explain the differences among the drinks. Would definitely come back to try other drinks or even just for the space! read more
probably of of our favourite cafes in markham with their quick service and friendly staff. close to a few others, this has been my favourite layout and aesthetic place to be. There are a fair amount tables and been able to always get a seat so far. we've been trying out different menu items as we go, but we do enjoy their espressos and matcha. my favourite one is the orange espresso read more
Cute little coffee shop that has limited opening hours so make sure you check before going. When it gets busy there can be a wait for a table or even just to get takeout. They have cute snacks and the drinks were also really good! I would say things are on the pricey side but it's good to support local small business :) read more

one of my new favourite cafes in this area. I stumbled upon this cafe on Instagram during their soft opening so I had to check them out. they are one of the only cafes in cathedral town that is open everyday which is nice. I love their aesthetics! although, there's only a few tables here, I haven't had any issues getting a spot. their drinks are unique and tasty. they also seem to add new drinks to their menu once in awhile. my favourite so far would have to be their tiramisu latte and matcha latte bonus: they are dog friendly!! read more
Went here on opening weekend so it was a bit busy, but the line moved very quickly! Once inside you are greeted with a very warm welcome and a cute coffee shop that has some small tables and chairs along with a comfy bench/couch for you to sit at. I ordered the tiramisu iced latte which comes with a sweet cream top and coco powder. They recommended you take a sip of the cream top first and then mix it. The cream was sweet and tasted really nice, but I do agree it tasted better once mixed! It seems they also change their coffee blends frequently so the one they had at the time I went was really nice and smooth. I also had the buckwheat dark chocolate cookie which was so good. I am excited to come back and try more items! read more
Cute coffee shop in Cathedraltown! It is quite small with just a handful of tables and chairs so it may be hard to get a seat during busy times. They also try to fit a lot in a tight space, so not the most ideal environment for longer stays. Drink options are plentiful. Both the matcha latte and matcha strawberry latte are delicious, though on the pricier side. Not too many food options though - just a few different cookies. They are dog-friendly which is hard to come by nowadays in Markham which is why they are a solid 4 stars for me. read more

Had to join the hype and try out this new coffee spot in Markham! This new coffee shop opened last week and I already saw a bunch of people talk about this place! I heard it was PACKED over the weekend so I decided to go during the weekday. Fortunately, since it was a weekday, there was no line. I tried their pistachio latte and the pistachio cream foam was nutty with a hint of sweetness that complimented the latte. I did think their coffee was on the sour side which I am not a huge fan of. But after mixing the coffee with the milk, it made it less sour. Overall, this small cafe is a great spot to grab coffee if you're in the area. I would try out their other drinks as well. read more

A small coffee place with just a few tables. Staffs are very friendly and it is a dog friendly place. We ordered a Latte and a Macha for take out. They both have a very creamy flavour, but the coffee is not strong. Also the drink was not hot enough. It got cold after a few minutes. They only open a few hours per day. I would still want to go back and try their cookies and bake goods. read more
