Most grocery stores and drugstores don't sell liquor of any type and those that do don't sell hard liquor. Fortunately, I found Pennsylvania Avenue when I had a hankering for some beer. The proprietor was friendly and laughed when I expressed my surprise about the liquor laws. We then explained the craziness and how his beer was fairly priced. I picked up two 6-Packs for my stay in PA for me and my son to share. Since I was out of state he gave me a free bottle opener. I will be back to Pennsylvania Avenue next time I am in town.

Just because a customer asks where a bottle of liquor is doesn't make them underage. He then proceeded to stare at me the entire time I was in the store and during check out.
