This place needs corporate help! My son and I ordered bulgogi bowls to go, and were disappointed to find very little meat, tasteless, clearly overcooked and the bowl was covered in onions and carrots. I've gone to Jays main restaurant for years and never had onions and carrots on my bulgogi nor is it advertised in this manner. This place has been hit or miss for far too long to not have improved. It is very clearly the employees and especially the cooks have no care about the quality of the food. While waiting for our food we observed other patrons bowls with little meat as well. I mean not looking for heaps but feel free to increase the price to offset the 1/2 lb of rice with a reasonable amount of meat. Bulgogi should be seasoned and flavorful not just cut and cooked meat. The food was not good at all. I had to send bk 3 times for one person and still won't right. And I also sent mines bk first time the bacon was raw and the second time the meat was not cooked through it was pink inside. I just requested my money back from both meals. read more

The concept and food here is pretty good. It's a strange combination of burgers and Chinese so interesting. The food itself was good. The service was good. And the ambiance was good. But there were definitely some questionable cleanliness issues. They were refilling the sauce containers by the front register. And then they left the open container right by the register where people were checking out. There was sauce dripping everywhere and none of the employees seemed to notice or care. I don't know who trains the people that work at this place, but they need a new career path. It was awful we had four orders none of them were complicated (no sauce here or no they don't like tomatoes). I asked the girl to wrap mine in lettuce and I might as well have asked her to unicycle through the store while juggling cats. She just could not get it and they didn't wrap it the just laid lettuce on it. She look had to remake a burger twice and we had to go up and ask for things so many times because they were missing items or messed up. The burger was bland, so bland, over cooked, and the sauces on the burger were flavorless. Dinner here was exhausting and you could literally watch the whole crew say "I don't know" when a customer asked a question... I mean ANY question... do you serve hamburgers? Do you have lettuce? Can you substitute this for that? Kids meal doesn't come with juice you have to buy it separately. In fact none of the meals came with a drink which makes each meal about $9.00 instead of the $6-7 on the board. Both are recreations of the original so don't expect anything authentic. A kind "assistant manager" took my name and number down and told me the manager would return my call the following morning. Four days later, no call. I called again, just for them to tell me they had no record of my information and I was told I would receive a call last night when the manager gets back. Again, no call. Completely unprofessional, given the repulsive nature of my meal. Not to mention, the cashier, Tyler, added a charge to my card without any question. When one person comes to pick up three different orders, the business SHOULD clarify which card to charge, instead of taking it upon themselves to pick a card. This place is absolutely amazing. Incredible service, incredible food, and incredible music. I came here with my lacrosse team after a game and was immediately impressed. Bryan did an awesome job at making sure all of us got our food in a timely and was very patient. He made sure our large group had everything we needed. The cooks here are amazing. I come here pretty often for a to-go lunch or dinner. They uphold their promise on a 10-15 window before the food is ready. For dine in, its usually less than 10 minutes. If you have to chose between fast food, this, or even a quick sit down place, definitely chose Ninja, their crack chicken and chicken bowels are my favorite orders here. The owners train the wait staff pretty well on being courteous, and I like it how even though the chef in the back area filling orders, I still get a warm welcome from him. I am a fan of sit down- hibachi in general, but for under $10 dinner the price, taste, and wait time make this a good option to eat. As a bonus I also get some edamame, a filling and health side dish. Everything is pretty clean and the facility furniture is new. read more

I am sorry to do this but, it needs to be done. Years ago, I came on here and left a 5 star rating with no feedback. However, I don't know what's happened with this establishment but the customer service is nothing slight of piss poor. Months ago, the manager Jay rectified a situation where I waited over 45 minutes for my food and had a negative encounter with one of his employees. I appreciated this. Honestly, I don't what's happened. For about the last month I've had 2 wait times of 30+ minutes on call in orders. I've tried to be patient. Meaning I've called in the order about 10-15 minutes ahead of time, gotten to the restaurant and still had to wait 20-30 minutes. Tonight, I waited 35+ minutes on my food. Annoyed, I went in and asked for a refund. The guy who initially started working on my refund literally a stopped working with me to tend to 2 female customers who ordered after me and gave them a discount. I wasn't even mad at that, I was just pissed he didn't give me refund right then and there. Then I stood there about 10 minutes as the worries talked amongst each other about my food. I tried to be understanding and tell the female worker if it was a haste I'd just take the food, but she said she would give me a refund. The food is great, the manager is great, but the customer service from the employees is honestly terrible. If you want decent food but want rude employees, definitely check this place out. The Bulbolgi Bowl, Korean BBQ, was very tasty but had only about 3-4 carrots/ mushrooms. The Crack Chicken was over fried and so crunchy it was hard to cut/bite and the flavor was just "ok". Other than the manager being a kind person and the fact that he prepared my food, I was not impressed. The waitstaff seemed rude and were too busy conversating to worry about the customer and one of the gentleman in the cook line kept putting his bare hands in his apron, on his nose and neck as if he was itching, and holding the walls to lean around and flirt with his employees. I would have lost my mind had he prepared my food, But he was the one to hand me my food while it was bagged. Which I then asked him to wash his hands politely. All but the manager stopped and stared at me as if I had just asked them to empty the register. I assume he was new but gloves are really helpful to people like this. it looked as if he was training and if he was, he needs to learn proper food handling procedure before preparing food. Without a doubt the best restaurant in Mt. Olive. My food is consistently great and reasonably priced. Whether its a burger or hibachi style plate, you will not be disappointed. Plus, its always nice to have an ice cold Sweetwater 420 with your meal. The manager, Mr. Parker, is always pleasant and hands-on when it comes to making sure operations run smoothly.
