I popped in here with my boyfriend for the first time last night for something hot, like ramen. Wow, was I impressed with this menu. I will be back to try everything! I ordered the Tom Yum Goong - hot broth with vegetables with lemongrass. The taste of lemongrass was so fresh! Good portion and very hot. There were a little more mushrooms and not enough tomatoes for my taste but still great nonetheless. I also got Ramen with Pork, which was absolutely delicious.. can't wait to try the seafood! I also got vegetarian spring rolls. They were crispy yet a little too oily for my liking and pretty small for the price. I also got sweet potato fries because they are my favorite. They were def out of the freezer, crinkle cut - nothing special. I've had sweet potato fries from places like this before and they are like thick steak fries .. not here. I would stick to the main entrees. It seems like there is a lot of take out and door dash orders here (I did take out because I had my dog in the car, as always), but I would def recommend eating here. The dining area is very cute. A lot of booths with plenty of privacy, low lighting, beverages including cold beers, and spicy chili sauce, hoisin and siracha at each table.

C1 Red Curry w/ Chicken /no spice. Still has a little kick to it...perfect flavor

Love their Curry. Best I've had. We've been here several times. Nice clean and quiet place. Staff is courteous & friendly.

Chicken and shrimp fried rice, fried chicken, spring rolls and a specialty entree

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, let along a Pad Thai restaurant. We spent $60 and It was so delicious, flavorful and fresh and worth it !!! The "Pink King" (2nd from the left in photo) is really spicy. The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice were cleaned but not detailed, and I wish they were detailed. The fried chicken and spring rolls were a hit. I will be going here again for sure.

Goong Ta Krai (Lemon Grass Shrimp)

My son & I have been here a couple of times. The Goong Ta Krai (Lemon Grass Shrimp is our go-to dish. The portion seems small when it first comes out, but add the included side of rice to the actual dish & it's very filling. Order it "extra spicy" for full enjoyment! Delicious!

Traveled to 40/50 states and always try to find a ramen spot on vacation. The spicy tonkotsu ramen here is easily the best ramen I've ever had. We keep coming back here!

The place was clean, freshly remodeled. Staff was pretty attentive. They had Game of Thrones on the TV and a couple of the servers were focused on that. When a nude scene came on, a female waitress (hostess) said something to them and they changed the channel. I ordered the Pad Thai ($12.95) for lunch. I thought being the namesake of the restaurant, it must be good. The description was Pad Thai with shrimp, egg bean sprout... The meal came quickly, was hot, but the portion size was small and kinda lacked flavor and more importantly heat. Very bland. The server told me to put chili oil on the dish, that it brings out the flavor. Still bland. There were 3 medium sized shrimp, noodles and 1" triangles of either tofu or egg marinated in something and fried. There was about a cup and a half of noodles. There were fresh bean sprouts on the side, about 2 tablespoons worth, a tablespoon of chopped peanuts on the side and a 1/4" thick slice of half a lemon. I figure there was at most $0.80 or $0.85 worth of raw ingredients. I didn't take a picture, I wish I would have. I typically don't do reviews and really am reluctant to leave negative ones. I struggled with posting this one. There wasn't a Yelp entry for this business yesterday when I visited, but when I thought about the value of the meal and the taste, I thought people needed to know. I added a picture showing the front from a newspaper article talking about the opening. It's a new business in a tough time so I didn't review it. The more I contemplated it overnight I decided people needed to know. I have no connection to this restaurant and am not affiliated with any other restaurants in the area.

    Papaya Salad
    Rheo L.

Order papaya salad and this is what i got. I was asked if i wanted spicy and i said medium, what came out was a bowl of carrot with what look like french fries loaded with enough sugar to put anyone who finish the dish in a diabetic coma. Everything we order was very sweet, maybe sugar is on sales the day i was there :/ would not recommend.

Now in the past when picking up it's usually just an older lady. She has never been super big on customer service and quite frankly pretty rude. I hate the stereotype that because it's a good Asian restaurant that service is usually not good but the food is good. Just because you know people will come back and eat, so you can treat them however. That's crazy to me... I have eaten at some amazing Asian establishments and have had both outstanding service and food. Anyway, so as I'm sitting here; there's about 6 people in here including me. Not a very big place. Kind of dark and pretty warm in here. Some stuff on the ceiling and Asian decor, grey walls. She comes to take my order and doesn't smile, I have been nothing but nice and smile at her and have manners etc.. But she asked me what I wanted, I say #19 pho beef & tendon.. then she immediately wants to run away. I say wait hold on, I wanted to add some things. What do you want to add she says? I said can I add nuoc beo on the side? She said we don't have that, then I say extra onions and cilantro.. I can't even say anything else before she tries to run away again.. then I said I would like to add spring rolls, but veggie, and I'm thinking that's tofu.. either way she runs away.. I can't even order a drink. I also really wanted to add a side of sliced onions and see if they have any Chinese donuts.. but there's no asking because she is running. Then as she comes back out to bring something to someone else, I basically have to raise my voice to ask for a drink. She brings my Dr. Pepper and spring rolls and it's literally just veggies inside. No tofu. At this point I feel not scared but like she is not approachable at all, intimidating to say the least. Very uncomfortable feeling. I really want to ask for tofu, but I'm just going to leave it alone. I saw a commercial with Vince Danh, running for city council, and I'm so confused how he is on this commercial speaking about this restaurant like it's just the best and meanwhile everyone knows the service is ridiculous. So she brings my food and everything looks good. I had to ask for a side of onions and chopsticks and chili oil. She seemed annoyed I had to ask. She brought them and I started eating. Everything was good. Now I don't want to go as far as saying racist, but I did notice how she was towards other people in here who weren't my color. I'm a lot of things but I definitely have darker skin than anyone in here. I have noticed some peoples experience may be the same who have non white skin. Anyway, I won't be coming back to sit and eat. I mean over the phone she's rude too and just wants to rush. I might order to pick up in the future, but this experience has turned me off completely. And I love Pho so much. I will just eat at Pho Thai.. I understand people have had hard lives and I have sympathy for them, but also regardless of the life you lived, you have to treat everyone with kindness. A smile goes a long way...normally....but maybe just not here.

We knew what we wanted (menu online) & she went back to the kitchen to prepare it. We literally ordered a bowl of "soup" so it's not rocket science to need any help with that. We came in at 2:45 so we had the whole place to ourselves, we were out by 3:15. It only took maybe 3 min to get our food. And for 2 people it cost like $25. So to me, that's better than any ol' burger joint you can hit up. Plus, we have a whole other meal's worth of leftovers. 100% would go back anytime. Was it the cleanest place? Maybe not - but neither is my granny's kitchen - so take what you want outta that. It was homey.

We were greeted by a small child (maybe 10 years old), who was barefoot when he walked back into the kitchen to yell that "customers are here". This was a little off putting, and we probably should have turned around right then. Unfortunately, we did not, I was hungry, and we had been on the road for 5 hours. After combing through the huge (and kinda confusing but that doesn't bother me) menu, we decided on multiple dim sum dishes and one main dish to share. When we went to order, 5/6 things we wanted to order were "sold out". This was beyond frustrating, and while she said that they were on vacation to explain why they were out of everything, I wish they told us that when we sat down rather than waiting until after we were ready to order. I ended up just settling for a safe option of steamed roasted pork buns and chicken fried rice. They were just okay. However my boyfriend got the "chicken three cups" with a side of fried rice, and he said he liked it.

Had we been given the correct information over the phone, we would have chosen a different restaurant. Instead, we stayed and ended up spending over $150 on food that was extremely disappointing. The food itself was overly salty, and both the stir-fry and fried rice tasted like they had way too much soy sauce. The flavors were completely overwhelmed by the saltiness, making the dishes difficult to enjoy. For the amount we paid, the quality was nowhere near what we expected. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had. For a restaurant at this price point, we expected much better food and better communication among the staff. Definitely not worth the $150+ we spent.
