While I was never a patient there, St.Vincent's has been phenomenal in taking care of my boyfriend and my Mother when they had issues. It never dawned on me that behind the hospital in the Joe Adams building they were seeing people for everyday care. I went in and the staff were so friendly, seeing that I was a new patient. I had requested they send me all the new patient paperwork in the mail so that I could fill it out ahead of time, especially the medical records transfer and they did this in a matter of days. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called back. My new doctor, Dr. Katie Longo, might be slightly younger than me but she was so helpful an courteous. We reviewed all my old records and anything that may have come up since my last doctor's visit and she put everything in the system. She also informed me that I don't need certain exams as often as I had been going prior. I wish my old doctor had told me that. I could have saved myself unnecessary trips. I really like her and I love how it's so close to me now. I would definitely recommend this doctor's office to anyone.

She was very dismissive, she took me off of medications that I've been on for years (I have Lupus and fighting to not get stomach cancer) but because she doesn't like them she removed them and said that I need a specialist to get those medications.. this is the same office that have refilled my medications plenty of times before. Fast forward I then heard her kindly speak to other patients (ones that skin isn't like mine) and it was a completely different tone. I don't know if she ended up given them just as bad service and care as she did me but I will NEVER see her again (I rather die). My lab work was scheduled after my visit with the doctor, and then I received a text message advising that the date and time had been changed. Because I have low blood sugar, I cannot have a late-morning appointment. There were also three separate attempts to get my imaging orders sent to the correct location. While I did speak with some individuals who were professional on the phone, all of my imaging requests were routed through referrals, and that is where the process broke down. I understand that end-of-year volume may be a factor, but these issues have made scheduling unnecessarily difficult.

Turns out I get a $220.00 bill from my insurance because they only covered $1000.00 of it. That was the last time i went to this doctor. My new doctor did not require me to take any lab tests and has been continuing my prescriptions without issue. Basically this guy is a crook and they are not in the healthcare practice. They are in it for business and to make money. They can care less about their patients and the costs that the incur. Every time my daughter has to get vaccines, the MD comes and sees her first and then we are left waiting what feels like an eternity for the nurse to give the shots. I've had to come out and remind them that we are there. Other than that the MD's and NP's are great and take time to listen and address any problems or concerns you may have.

We (My wife and "I") have moved from Connecticut two months ago and we were looking for a new…read moreprimary care doctor in this area.  We searched on the united healthcare website and found Dr. Gargin is accepting new patients.  therefore, we contacted her office (Immediate Medical Care,P.A) and we were told "Yes, she is accepting new patients but you have to wait for next week to see her and also were told that the other doctor in the practice "Dr. Moosavi" can see us the next day"; We declined the offer to see Dr. Moosavi and chose to wait for next week to see Dr. Gargin.  So, we decided to book the first appointment for myself to see Dr. Gargin and later for my wife. On the day of my appointment with Dr. Gargin, we called in the morning to confirm the appointment, and were told that the appointment is still good with Dr. Gargin. We arrived at the office and sat there for good 15 minutes and then we were led to the exam room to wait for Dr. Gargin. To our surprise, a new doctor shows up and introduced himself as Dr. Moosavi.  We were not comfortable with this sudden change that took place and asked "where is Dr. Gargin?"  He told us; that "Dr. Gargin is not accepting new patients and I am going to be your primary care doctor."  We immediately wanted to leave, But Dr. Moosavi kept talking about himself and that he has a degree in engineering and a law degree before becoming a doctor. All that didn't not interest us. We left as fast as we could. The following day we went back to retrieve my medical records that we brought with us at the initial visit and to ensure that no transfer of records from our previous primary care in Connecticut. Basically, this practice did "a bait and switch on us" We are not pleased to what we had experienced with this doctor and this practice and we hope no-one else should experience this.
