Do yourself a favor and never book this hall. Listen to the other reviews. They will not turn the AC on and nor does it work, your guests and entire family will be grasping for air and running around looking for water which they'll never refill. Cockroaches inside the hall. Napkins, cups, utensils ran out. Food wasn't refilled we had to ask them multiple times. Owner Happy is extremely rude and has no idea what he's doing. If you want to lose your money and have your guests leave early then choose this place. It was embarrassing. Never again, and everyone who attended will never book this place either. read more

Tonight we were at a wedding reception at Nirvaana Banquet Hall. I just called and spoke to an extremely rude lady. Around 10 pm, I called 3 times. Hung up 1st time prematurely (dad was still in midst of searching), called again to leave message and 3rd time to leave message disregarding the message as the wallet was located. She was rude that I had called "so late" and 3 or 4 times in a row. I explained my situation and told her I wasn't trying to bother her, but I was calling her business line and not personal contact or residence. She continued to be rude. Told her to expect reviews online. She wouldn't give me her name, even after several requests. Instead she hung up. By no means will this business receive our consideration and I will let others know as well. Worst experience ever! The AC wasn't working and everyone was sweating so much. There were only a couple fans but they didn't help at all! It was so hot that the experience was ruined. We didn't even want to dance on the dance floor anymore because of how hot it was. Never had such a bad experience with any hall. I will never come here again or suggest it to anyone. This place here is a hidden gem! The owner is all about Our Tracy Community and she is always so accommodating. Her banquet hall is very spacious and it has everything needed to host any size event. It is the most clean, fully functional and upscale hall around. Chamber of Commerce events, conferences, kick off parties and private events have been held here without an issue. Definitely a hall and proud owner that deserves respect above all. I fully recommend it! read more

AVOID THIS HALL AT ALL COST! Where is the option for ZERO stars? This is my first and only bad yelp review ever.... I had my wedding reception booked at this hall, and it was the worst decision I've ever made. The reception was held on one of the hottest nights of the year. As a matter a fact, I was told it was a record-breaking high for Tracy that day. The AC was broken, and management offered nothing to remedy the problem. We called the manager, left her voice messages and texts. We even knew people who knew her and called her directly to request for her attention to fix it. My flowers, dessert and cake wilted or melted. It was horrifying to walk into this on the evening of my wedding reception. I am so traumatized from this experience and I still have nightmares. Management did not work well with my vendors, and made getting things done unnecessarily complicated. When my coordinator arrived - there were no garbage cans or attendees (even though management verbally told my coordinator that she would have one come) in the bathroom. There were even dead roaches on the floor. My poor coordinator had to sweep this mess up herself. The security they hired was a joke. The head security person was rude, obnoxious, and started trouble with my guests. He kept taking pictures when asked not to take them. At some point, I saw photos posted on a facebook page without my consent or my guests. Even his security staff didn't respect him. If you do decide to book with this venue, make sure you have everything written out to the "t" on your contract. Management will always try to verbally discuss things over the phone or in person but make her put it in writing and include it in your final contract. Get a lawyer to review! Be sure to outline that AC must be provided and in the event that it goes down, they must remedy the issue. Bathrooms should have an attendee with garbage cans. Hire your own security!!!! I can't stress enough, everything you discuss with her, PUT IT IN WRITING. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HALL TO ANYONE. read more

Went to a wedding of 600 people and the AC wasn't working during a heat wave, and no mitigations were provided. (The owner should have brought in portable AC units). Bride almost passed out from the heat and guests left early. A wedding celebration was nearly ruined because of poor management and lack of effort from the owner. The Site and owner are not equipped to host a large party. Don't bother with this place. Booo! read more

The reasons for this 1-star review: 1) Owner refused to turn on the A/C prior to the event - causing all of the fresh flower centerpieces to wilt by the time the event started. These are $100/each and were clearly ruined due to owner's unwillingness to accommodate the customer. When someone has spent thousands of dollars on hosting an event here, this should be a non-issue. 2) The A/C did not work in half of the building for whatever reason during a record-breaking heatwave. The owner did not answer any phone calls except from the hired security. So it's not as if she wasn't receiving the calls but she did nothing to alleviate the situation. There are many ways to handle a problem like this as a business owner and she took the wrong approach in every possible way. Overall, I'd highly discourage renting this place mainly due to ownership/management. It's too bad because there are not many other options in this area but I'd rather drive further out and pay more for quality service. read more

This is a huge banquet hall facility with a lot of potential if the management was more caring, responsible, and simply responsive. The problem is in the way issues are handled when they do occur. Minor issues are inevitable when you are hosting a wedding reception of 500. However, major issues that are showstoppers and the ones anticipated in advance, such as broken ac on a hot day, they should be handled immediately. I can think of many alternatives to the problem IF the management had cared enough to fix the issue on hand and not sabotage a perfectly well planned event. The manager was informed of the issue and said it will be fixed but it was not - untrustworthy The manager could've provided ac units or fans - not a problem solver at all. The manager stopped answering calls and sent them to security - runs away when issues occur at an event and what a convenient solution. The manager was in all this chaos able to tell the security to not let anyone touch the AC panel which means they knew about the issue. Simply put and by looking at facts how the situation was handled, I would never take risk with this facility to host an event here. read more

The owner forgets to mention before you book the place that she is too cheap to turn the AC on and throughout the night had her security staff guarding the control panel to make sure it wouldn't be turned on. I have been to many large weddings, but venue has worst management. I was there last night and they did not not do anything right. Adults were suffering from all the heat. It was brought to management attention yhat the AC is not working by the middle of the day, but by the evening nothing was done. No effort was made. If you see any nice photos, it's because someone hired an expensive decorator to make it look nice. The staff did not know what to serve when. The staff made the guests feel unwelcomed by picking up dinner plates when it was not even closing time. This place is not worth your money. Take your money somewhere else. If you see a positive review, it is done by a relative and you can check that by looking at the last name. I would never recommend this hall to anyone. It is also sad to see that rather than talking to the bride and groom and coming up with a resolution, the staff is having people do take review. I think in this event you say sorry, provide a refund and act like a responsible business. They are not responsible for weather, but they are responsible for their accommodation. Calling your customer irritational is hardly a convincing argument. 600 people can't be wrong. If they keep on acting like this, place might shut down soon and you might loose your deposit. So I never write any kind of reviews but for this I had to. The hall was booked and there were about 600 plus guests and there is a max occupancy of 700. It was a little cramped but it was more or less fine. The biggest issue was the AC. When we arrived at 7 the hall was really hot. After talking to the owner and security guards we were told the AC has been working since 10am that day. Looking at the thermostat it should 88+ throughout the night. I know that its ridiculously hot this week with temperatures getting 105+ but you would think they would make sure the AC is working properly when multiple people are trying to contact the owner. People resorted to using paper plates to fan themselves and their children. It eventually go to the point when it was better to stand outside than be in the hall. During this, the owner would not answer anyone's call, she only talked to one person through text and just told them that the AC was working when she checked in the morning. Another reviewer said it that is not the owner's fault for the "heat wave and an AC unit blowing a fuse" but the owner should make sure everything is working properly and when several people are trying to get a hold of and texting her that there is an issue she should work to resolve it. It may not be her fault but it is her responsibility to get it fix. You would think it would be her priority when there are 600 plus people in her event hall. We found out the next day that she had connected only 3 AC repairmen who didn't answer her call. I don't think that is enough of an effort. Its Tracy and Modesto, Stockton and Manteca are all within in driving distance. There are way more repairmen that can be called. I understand that is a long weekend but its insane that owner only tries to contact 3 people to fix the AC. It is not like the magically fixed itself during the even, it was 88+ the entire night inside the hall. Another issue we had was that the hall closed at 11. Which is fair enough because apparently this was agreed upon when the groom booked the place. However there was an option to pay an extra 400 dollars to keep the hall open for another hour. When we tried to contact the owner to extend the time she did not answer. We were willing to pay an the extra amount with no hesitation but our calls went unanswered. The good thing about the place is that there is plenty of parking, right next to highway 205 and the surrounding area is quiet. Overall I would not book this place. read more

Worst venue for a party. They didn't even have running AC and ruined a good night. Didn't care about the people who were throwing the event. They were liars and said everything would be ok but at the party they had changed everything around. The security was so rude to the guests.
