I am so thankful and grateful to have found this place. My guinea pig sadly unexpectedly passed…read moreaway about a week or so ago. I was heartbroken and was looking for a place to bring my special boy to be cremated because I couldn't bear burying him in my backyard. With just a phone call, I was able to bring my boy down to this clinic and have an employee meet me outside to take him and help with starting the process of cremation. I felt so loved and cared for by every employee I came in contact with. I couldn't keep myself from crying, and they helped me through every step of the process. They let me take a moment in the bathroom to collect myself, they offered to trim some hair and put it in a special bottle for me, and even took rainbow stamps of his nose and feet on a piece of paper for me to have a piece of him with me since I wouldn't get his cremation box and paw prints back for a few days. They also let me come into the back and say my last goodbyes, taking as long as I needed. They told me how pretty he was and how they could tell he was a special boy to me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for such a terrible situation. I walked out of there feeling so comfortable knowing they were taking care of him and making sure he would make it back home to me just as I wanted. I just went back today and received his cremation box along with other little things they added into the bag to make it special (a bag of forget me not seeds, little tissues, and flyers and a postcard with helpful heartfelt messages). I truly appreciate the love they put into caring for a pet that has passed on. Thank you to every employee that helped me that day, especially the front desk woman, and thank you for being so caring. I can't express my appreciation enough.

She needed help getting up and struggled to get around on her own. He started her on acupuncture, supplements, added certain foods to her diet, and gave me some physical therapy instructions for home. After her first appointment, she got off the couch to greet me when I got home! It had been weeks since she last did that. She was able to walk around much better and has continued to improve with each visit. Dr Ross started her with weekly acupuncture and has since moved to every other week because of the progress she has made. She is now able to go down the stairs (practically on her own), gets up on her own, goes potty outside by herself, and walks around the house on her own. Dr Ross has such a calming and kind demeanor. I wish we had found him sooner! He really has our baby girl's best interest in mind. He isn't trying to make a buck by selling us supplements we don't need. He actually advised that we could give her human supplements to save money. Their check in process is great because it is less stressful for our fur babies. You call from your car and they will come out and get you so that you won't run into any other patients on your way in or out. They also run an Urgent Care clinic some evenings which makes it convenient for refilling prescriptions Thank you Dr Ross and clinic staff for the amazing service!

Didn't get her name. They are all awesome. Dr Quing was very friendly and helpful. He was not in a hurry while in the room. He got down to my dog's level and approached her ( she was shaking nervous) She absolutely loved him. She was there because she was drooling nonstop. He did teeth x-rays and found that she had six teeth that needed to be removed. He was able to do the surgery that day for me so we could start the recovery process. They checked in with us along the way. Great communication skills from everybody there and you can tell they are very caring and love what they do. I was a nervous wreck and they kept me informed and calm. They did not try to gouge me for money either. I really appreciate all of them there. Thank you !

This office is completely incompetent and overcharges for everything. They will try and push things…read moreyou don't need. Before the office manager writes some response I've had 4 animals seen at this office so this isn't the only issue I've had. This is the one I feel compelled to share with the public. My little frenchie has one weird curved toe nail. He wouldn't let anyone touch it because it formed a little blister on the pad next to that toe. (gone now but had it for a while) Petco said he was a drama queen. So i reluctantly paid for an annual check up just to get his nails trimmed by his vet under sedation. I spoke to the vet about the specific toe and she agreed it was probably why he didn't want ppl touching it. Somehow even after explaining myself and paying for sedation his curved toe nail was NOT trimmed. While all the others were. His curved toe is now overgrown nearly into the pad of his paw. Now he's more sensitive to it then he was before. I need to mention they did give him a sedative but no one waited for the sedation to take effect before trimming his nails. So he was screaming in the back. He was wide awake when they brought him out (clearly didn't wait for sedation) . I reluctantly paid left without checking. I wasn't aware I needed to check all of his toes and about 10 minutes down the road he started getting groggy. When I was ready to schedule his next nail trim this month at a doggy groomer with the prescription I left with (to avoid going back for constant nail trimming) I fought him to look at the nail and that's when I discovered what they missed. Instead of trying to fix the nails problem and offer any kind of solutions I was given a bunch of excuses (as if I've never trimmed his nails the past 3 years or like I've never had other dogs and years of nail trimmings) insert my eye roll to the "well we work in vets offices" "nails grow differently lengths" excuse excuse excuse also heard that vets not here oh that techs not here either. It was always a NEW vet. Insert another eye roll. Zero consistency in the office and zero confidence in basic skills. For those reading this feel free to google how common it is for groomers to miss a curved nail and then you can tell me if some blanketed statements like nails grow different lengths is just a cop out for not wanting to absorb the cost to fix their mistake! They care more about their Bottom line than they do Animal care or they could've easily said. "We understand the service you paid us for wasn't completely correctly and here is how we plan to correct that for you as our loyal customer:" Because in reality that's all I was asking for was them to admit fault (drs never do!) and to offer to cover his sedation to fix the toe. That's all it would've taken to save them from a 1star review A little customer service when you've wronged a customer and charged them full price is the right thing to do. If I had gone to a free clinic I guess I wouldn't have anything to complain about since they help people. You only help yourselves. The motto at SoCal pet hospital is : Bottom line OVER Animals Thank you for making his fear WORSE NOT better. Thank you for being so in able to say "We were wrong" "sorry we missed that" "that's a common mistake" Your inability to accept accountability has earned you one star. I'd give less if I could

We took her to a conventional vet to rule out UTI/kidney issues and had X rays done to ensure there was nothing grossly abnormal structurally with her bones. Everything checked out and I knew I didn't want to start her on a medication with significant side effects or have her on pain meds indefinitely, so I searched for holistic vets who did acupuncture and was so happy to see Dr. Rose was local to us! . On our first visit, Dr. Rose did a thorough exam of Nikka and informed us that Nikka had an unusual heart murmur. A different vet at a conventional clinic that had seen Nikka just a few weeks earlier also mentioned the heart murmur but said it was very mild/quiet and didn't seem concerned about it all and didn't give us any indication that it needed to be investigated. I thought that the murmur must be no big deal based on how the first vet handled the finding. Dr. Rose immediately told us that Nikka's heart murmur was quite pronounced and unusual sounding and she gave us a lot of info and recommendations on next steps. . Well, today we took Nikka to a cardiologist where she had an ECHO and it turns out she has dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), which, thankfully, has been caught early and might be able to be improved with medication and dietary changes. . Dr. Rose literally saved Nikka's life with her attention to detail, her excellent clinical skills, and her prompt and informative follow up and recommendations. I will be eternally and forever grateful to her competence and expertise. . Nikka has also had 2 sessions of acupuncture and cold laser/photobiomodulation and she definitely has more pep in her step. Nikka also loves coming to Serenity Holistic Vet, she isn't anxious or nervous and just settles right down and relaxes when the acupuncture needles are in. Dr. Rose is a gem and we are so lucky to have her here in Murrieta.

But honestly, they moved through everyone much faster than I expected. We waited about 30-40 minutes, but it went by pretty quickly, and once it was our turn, my dog was in and out in about 10 minutes. They also offer a military discount, which was a nice bonus. I was expecting to spend around $100, but all three of my dog's vaccines came out to only $65 in total! I was honestly shocked at how affordable it was. If you're looking for budget-friendly vaccines for your pet, I highly recommend coming here. They accept walk-ins on Saturdays, and Saturdays are the only day they offer both walk-ins and discounted vaccines. This is definitely going to be my go-to place for my baby girl from now on.
