Shantay - who did the same Cyndi- who cared for me like family But each and every aide I had knew my needs and showed up on time and were self starters and were eager to help in any way they could. The agency is local and so are the aides . They will drive you to appointments, run errands , light housekeeping, cooking , personal aid like helping with bathing or making the bed , laundry . I was very pleased with their work ethic and the stamina of the aides is wonderful! I recommend Right At Home for anybody recovering from surgery or an illness. It supplies the extra help the family and the person may need taking a lot of the worry out if the situation.

They didn't seem to know how to set up a video conference (no zoom, google meet, Teams, or the like?). Was late for our meeting (and prolly forgot until I pinged them). Seemed apathetic, poorly managed, and unprepared during discussions. Very odd. Also of note: the rep who called me kept referring to their company as "At Home Care" (which if that is the case, I can see why they would change their company name -- At Home Care has terrible reviews on Yelp). The other review I saw for At Home Harmony (a 5-star review no less) looks like a sales pitch from an insider, but you be the judge. Another red flag was, the rep went right into a line of questioning about my age and medicare status (as if to line up future business) rather focus on the elder in my care. Too many red flags.

One attendant let my mom walk very far without her rollator, even though I'd just told her that my mom had fallen earlier in the week and had to get an x ray. The attendant was too busy on the phone complaining about my mom sundowning to catch that she was walking without her rollator. Another attendant brought my mom back with blood around her mouth and couldn't explain it when I asked questions. No wonder they've had huge turnover there.
