This business is nicknames the honky tonkiest bar in Buffalo (or something along those lines), and I can see that being true. The staff was also friendly, very attentive, and the prices were on par with other business. There was a cover charge of $10, which is a decent deal for live music. Parking can be a hit or miss but fortunately there is parking in the shopping complex next door. I am looking forward to visiting again and seeing more bands and trying more of the food.

We told her we hadn't heard of any party, and she said "Well you should come, they're playing music and having a good time." We got our instruments and followed her lead, but she was too fast, and disappeared, leaving us in front of a barn-looking building with a sign that read "Hilliker's Pastime." We should have gone home, but we felt an auspicious pull inward. We went in, and were transported to another realm. We drank $2 beers and were taught shuffleboard by our enormous bartender. We were hit on - hard - by 45 year old woman who kept asking us to play our instruments (we did.) We witnessed a near bar fight and listened in as an old timer in a 90s-era Buffalo Bills jacket argued about something that I can't remember. We stumbled into the back room and .. well.. around this point the memory gets fuzzy. And I can't tell if I liked Hilliker's pastime or loved Hilliker's pastime. But I will be going back.
