Hannah drug me out to look at dresses prom in 19 days...these people are the rudest ever..."dress is $700 she can only be in dressing room alone". First of all I AM THE BUYER!! If it will be bought...I am going to help put it on and be sure it fits it is MY $700!! ALSO one of your competitors has a $700 dress much prettier with a much smaller dressing room. They didn't have a problem AT ALL with us being in the room together or having FOUR dresses in the room!! I won't ever recommend this place to ANYONE!! Learn some Customer service skills. If I could give 0 starts I would! I had a wonderful experience when I purchased the dress but unfortunately we found out my husbands grandfather was passing away. The chances of us being able to go to the event in which the dress would be use was very very slim. The bottom of the receipt says return with receipt within 7 days for cash refund. I purchased the dress 4 days ago and wanted to retune dress I would never be able to wear. Was told they make no exceptions regardless. Owner would not return my calls and as a small business they should see that we were going through a family emergency and make an exception! To be treated the way I was after spending as much as I did on that dress makes me saddened because supporting small businesses was important to me. NO MORE! You ruined my experience!!! Nixon's did a fantastic job for us. We had planned on purchasing a suit for my now husband for our wedding, but at the last minute decided to rent. All of the staff were knowledgeable and helpful regarding colors and style, and the measurements taken were perfect. His suit fit well and looked just as I had hoped. AWFUL! Customer service. From the moment we walked in, the horrible woman who greeted us was RUDE! She looked us up and down, and was super judgmental the whole time. My friend and I each picked 1 SINGULAR dress to try on and she wouldn't even let us try them one without giving us a lecture abt how expensive the dresses were and how we need to be serious about buying them on or we will ruin them when we try them on so we can't try them on unless we could afford them. She told us , "if 700 isn't in your price range, don't even try them on". It got to the point where we just left Bc the atmosphere was so bad. I didn't get her name, but she looks and sounds like she smokes 3 packs a day. read more

My boyfriend went by this shop to try to get ahead of dress and suit shopping for an event in January. First I walked past several employees and was not greeted by any. Then when we were finally addressed and I explained what we were looking for the woman pointed me to the back of the store and said it starts at 00 and goes from there and everything over there is marked down...I am not a 00 I am 20-22. Then when I finally found the section with my size in it most of them were too small for me...not that I got to try any on because the woman completely ignored me. Even after telling her I had never tried on formal gowns before and I have no idea how to go about finding one. They only a had a few very expensive dresses in my size. They were pretty though. I had the feeling they really didn't care if I bought a dress or my man bought a suit from them. Whether it was because I was big or because of my cancer mask that I have to wear, I got the impression that they had no interest or desire in selling me a dress, and I had hundreds to spend on a dress there. I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you are a size 00 and then you will have much to choose from. It's well organized but no guidance or help from the staff in anyway means that even had I found a dress I liked in the range I wanted to pay I would have been standing there for hours waiting for someone to show me the dressing rooms. Their attitude had me nearly in tears...I am sorry Nixon's that my fat cancer money wasn't worth your time or energy. The lady behind the desk eventually greeted me --she seemed more interested in ignoring me till I had questions & made her talk to me.
