Ananta has created a real yoga community, where the teachers know your name and the students know each other. Beginners and seasoned yogis will both find themselves at new places in their practice after a few classes at Ananta. They also hold specialty workshops for beginners, lower back problems, knitters, and golfers. They offer a limited sampling of basic yoga classes and if your take the ones by the same teacher they are exactly the same, over and over with very little imagination and very little difference and no interest to extend the students abilities in yoga or proper alignment in postures. After several weeks of classes not one realignment or adjustment in posture was offered. No direction was offered whether the posture was right or wrong. Maybe after much practice the shop will improve otherwise this is not worth the money or time right now. With so many wonderful yoga studios and talented yoga instructors in the area just try another one and find the right one for you.

They make the classes about being your best given where you are that day and with your practice. The broad range of students (women and men, young and senior) are longtime regulars and it shows - their practices are sound and committed.
