Every session is different. Great to workout in the heat and testing sessions. Easy turn up and get involved on the monthly pass.

I took the hot power hour- it was a great workout overall. The studio is pretty big but still gets/stays hot all class long but it's a bit crowded. The class would be hard to follow for a beginner/someone who is looking for more guidance from the instructor. read more

I gave two stars. One I really like this yoga studio and two I really like the teachers but negative 3 for NOT BEING HOT!!!! What a joke!!! After reading all of the other reviews I am shocked and amazed that people would leave a five star review saying that this is one of the greatest workouts of their life. I am sorry but..... you guys..... this is NOT HOT YOGA. NOT EVEN CLOSE. This SHOULD BE called WARM yoga at best. I'm writing my review To inform everybody reading that this is NOT HOT YOGA. It's no where near 100° it's probably around 95° Another review below... Somebody was talking about Bikram versus Powerflow.... Omg hello.... Have you ever even gone to a Bikram class at 104°???? Powerflow's version of Bikram is very sad at about 95° today, When I attended my very first Bikram Power Flow Yoga class 26/2. i'm sorry Power Flow but, What a joke!!!! I mean the class was OK the teacher was GREAT, but the heat was horrible!!! It was just like every other yoga class I take there... NOT HOT enough!!! I am super upset with their portrayal of what hot yoga is supposed to be. CRY EMOJI FACE!!! I would assume that a yoga studio advertising hot yoga would be hotter than this studio is capable of getting. After talking with the teacher, she let me know "that's the hottest this studio can get, power flow does not have the right equipment to get their studio hot enough" lol uhh you're damn right they don't have the right equipment!!!!. It is NOT HOT AT ALL. ITS WARM YOGA. On a personal note.... I have been going CorePower yoga for the past 10 years. When I am not in San Diego to attend CorePower's HPF(HotPowerFusion), my only option is Power Flow of Morristown, (or drive an hour to the city and spend an hour looking for parking to go to CorePower) At least at CorePower yoga, I KNOW I'm GOING to GET MY ASS KICKED. I mean, it's soooo freaking hot inside that room, I need to leave it. That is the only kind of yoga I enjoy. The kind that is so hot I need to leave the room.... I know this sounds crazy but let me explain... I really don't love the heat but I know what it's doing to my body so I love that more than I hate the heat! I am building my tolerance!! And every day I can stay in a little bit longer. I like leaving, my bff never leaves.... So we're different in that aspect but we are very similar in one way..... the hotter it is, the happier we are;) She stays in and loves it. I leave for air and I love that... Sooooooo Basically if it's not hot enough for me to wanna leave the room, it's not hot enough. That's probably somewhere around 107° at 70% humidity. Oh ya!!!!! One of my favorite San Diego teacher will usually get it up to 110° at 90% humidity. Now THATS WHAT I CALL HOT YOGA. If you're ever in San Diego you have take ALLEN's class at CorePower yoga and get your ass kicked like I do every day because that's what I call hot yoga!!! He's the most popular teacher and his class is full of diehard hot yogis. His classes are packed full of a different type of Yogi ... catch my vibe!!! read more

Highly highly recommend this studio if you are a yoga fan. Hot yoga was challenging but super enjoyable. Felt more like a workout which is what I like. Let me take a step back, so easy to book/ register online (prices are extremely fair) and the front desk was so sweet and helpful! Iv only taken one class but I am for sure signing up for a membership! Looking forward to going back tomorrow and many more times! read more

I've never been more impressed with yoga instructors than at Powerflow Yoga. I love that they have an early morning 6am and late classes (6pm and 7:30pm) because it is so hard to find studios that have classes that align with having a day job. I have taken Yoga classes with Jenn, Allison, and Jessie and they were really good about giving instructions for how to modify, and how to perform proper technique without judging you, and overall just amazing instructors! They seem to really care about people coming and bettering themselves no matter what your level of practice. The room is also hot, but not Bikram type hot but you can expect to sweat just as much! Things I can see others may care about that don't bother me: the location downtown has a parking garage nearby but no free parking. Kind of expected given the location. Also, there is one changing area. There are curtains for privacy and it never felt awkward given it's sort of like trying on clothes at a store because they have five stalls to change in. I signed up for the $50 first month new joiner special and am loving it so far! read more

I've been practicing bikram yoga on and off for a few years now (and mostly liking it), so I was excited to try something similar. The room is heated but not nearly as hot or humid as a bikram studio - which is great because the actual yoga is significantly more challenging. You will sweat just as much if not more! Most classes are vinyasa based, focusing more on clean, quick execution and smooth transitions between different postures. My instructor (forgot her name D: ) was quick with modifications, demonstrations of the various postures, and individual feedback. The changing/bathroom/shower situation is...a creative response to their limited available space. I was worried that the unisex changing stalls with curtains would get awkward after class let out and everyone wanted to leave at the same time, but there were no issues at all. Some people left straight away without showering, others took more time in the room to wind down, and there was plenty of space and privacy for everyone to get washed up and changed. Everything was clean and the provided toiletries were a nice touch. Their pricing is extremely competitive, even more so when considering their downtown location and high number of classes (5-6 spread out during the day). Overall an excellent spot for a seasoned vet or a newcomer. read more

"Hot yoga, how hard can it be?" My famous last words... I never thought that Powerflow yoga would be a great workout! In fact, the main reason why I checked out Powerflow yoga was because of a heated debate, with a friend, over the intensity and efficacy of Bikram versus other exercises. Willing to try something new, and determined not to lose an argument, I attended a 90 minute class. To give you a better understanding of how Bikram whooped my butt I should mention that I am a bit of gym rat. I love my free weights and I love running. With that in mind, I was confident that Powerflow yoga would be a breeze (ah, the pitfalls of hubris). What followed was 90 minutes of one the toughest workouts that I have had in a while. The workout and studio were both a great experience! The studio is conveniently located off the Morristown green. It's next to a bunch of restaurants and coffee shops, which makes for a great post workout treat. Parking is a hassle since the studio doesn't have a private lot. Street metered parking can be a pain so it is best to leave for the studio early. The yoga studio is cozy. As I entered the studio, I immediately noticed the simple decor; hardwood floors and earth tone painted walls. It gave the studio a mellow vibe. Prior to entering the classroom I dropped my stuff off in a cubby. The cubbies are on a first come first serve basis and are limited in number. The classrooms are a bit small. The class that I went to had about 20 people; it definitely felt cramped. Prior to starting, the yoga instructor (Jessie) made her way over to introduce herself to me and gave me some helpful tips, which I really appreciated. When the class started Jessie described and demoed poses. She gradually built up the level of difficulty as well as the number of poses between breaks. Every so often Jessie would come by and give pointers on how to engage certain muscle to get the most out of each pose. She was great! By the end of the 90 minute session I was spent. I was drenched in sweat and regretting my previous statements out Bikram workouts. Powerflow yoga forced me to work on balance; a fitness traits that can get glazed over when working with dumbbells. Moreover, there were a lot of isometric poses which I felt help increase my strength and stability. The increased temperature adds a nice element of cardio to the workout and helps improve stamina. I've been to a few more classes since that first workout and I have noticed an increase in flexibility and strength. I am a fan of Powerflow Yoga and recommend to everyone! Just make sure you bring a huge bottle of water, u and that you wear a lot of deodorant before you go! read more

Amazing experience. Love vinyasa classes with Allison, Jessie and andrea. Pretty demanding but I feel energized after every session! I also love the mental component of the classes which imparts yogic wisdom. Parking is hard since it's downtown Morristown but the quality of class is great. read more

One of the many studios in the area that I go to, it usually depends on whether the class fits in my schedule --- this is why I like this place. They have classes around noon which is perfect for the weekends. It's super clean and everyone is nice. You're usually able to find street parking during the day and don't have to bother going in the parking garage. Jeff Scios is my favorite instructor at this studio. read more

Love taking classes with MJ. Clean facility, and friendly staff. Classes challenge each yogi according to their level and at their own pace. I have came along way with handstands, and certain poses due to their highly educated instructors. Always a mix of people taking the classes ranging from all age levels, and experience levels. read more

I really enjoyed my first visit to Powerflow Morristown. Their facilities are beautiful, clean and staff is helpful. Meaghan Hunter is an amazing instructor, a true gift to the Yoga community. Parking can be an issue so try to come early and hope you get luck in finding a metered parking spot right across the street from the studio. read more
